Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
I recently engaged Design Knox for a website design project, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Initially, I communicated my specific requirements for the website design, and they assured me that they could deliver exactly what I wanted. However, the process quickly became frustrating and disappointing.
Firstly, they insisted on full payment upfront, despite my request to pay 50% upfront and the rest upon completion. Reluctantly, I paid in full due to their promises and my eagerness to proceed with other business matters.
As the project progressed, I encountered numerous issues. The initial layout they presented did not meet my expectations, and when I questioned why certain features were missing, they informed me that I would need to pay an additional hefty sum for custom work, contradicting their earlier assurances.
Furthermore, they tried to sell me their hosting services aggressively, disregarding my existing hosting arrangements. Their claims about my current hosting being incompatible were unfounded and unprofessional, considering my background in IT.
Despite multiple attempts to resolve issues and additional payments for updates and services, the website eventually crashed within a week of going live. Design Knox's response was disappointing yet again, insisting that I purchase their hosting to address the issue, which I found unacceptable.
In summary, my experience with Design Knox was marred by miscommunication, unmet promises, aggressive upselling, and ultimately, a dysfunctional website that required further investment to fix. I feel that Design Nox prioritizes sales over client satisfaction, and their lack of accountability and professionalism is concerning.
I would caution others to thoroughly research and consider alternatives before engaging Design Knox for their web design and hosting services.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
- Timeliness of Deliverables: Design Knox did not consistently deliver items on time. There were delays in meeting deadlines, as evidenced by the initial layout not meeting expectations, the website crashing shortly after going live, and the subsequent need for further updates and fixes.
- Response to Needs: Their response to your needs was inadequate. Despite your clear communication of specific requirements, they failed to deliver a website that met these requirements initially. Their insistence on additional payments for custom work and hosting services, even when not requested or necessary, reflects a lack of understanding and responsiveness to your needs as a client.
- Communication: There were communication issues throughout the project, with conflicting information provided about the website design, hosting requirements, and resolution of issues after the website crashed. This lack of clarity and consistency contributed to frustration and dissatisfaction with their project management approach.
In summary, Design Knox's project management can be characterized by delays, insufficient responsiveness to client needs, and poor communication, resulting in a negative experience for you as the client.
