Design Depot Ltd. is a creative design studio founded in April 2007, Sofia, Bulgaria. Since then the studio has been working in the field of graphic design, package design, print, outdoor advertising, as well as digital advertising. Design Depot combines the best of both worlds, talent, and new technologies, in order to bring good ideas to life by connecting with the audience emotionally and striving to meet their needs.
The team unites graphic designers, prepress specialists, photographers, program specialists, who are all experts in the field of media and digital marketing. Apart from flexibility, passion, and devotion, the values that complete the character of the studio are creative boldness and emotion.

Brand design and packaging for BeHealty Vitamin C + Zn Direct
Brief: BeHealty Vitamin C + Zn Direct is an innovative modern dietary supplement that supports the function of the immune system. Our task was to build a new brand in an extremely specific category. Including: development of a logotype; choice of colors and color schemes; design and prepress of primary and secondary packaging; creating a landing page of the product with basic information, useful tips and where it can be bought.
Case: We have created an entirely new visual identity to give consumers important advantages of products under the BeHealty brand. This identity corresponds to the type of category in which the products will be sold and at the same time makes them highly distinguishable when exposed on the shelf next to competitors.
Outcome: A fresh, new visual identity that fully meets the original goal – distinctiveness and recognition.

Brand identity, packaging and web design for Gift Tube - Embrace the passion for gifts!
Brief: A startup business for selling online gift vouchers for different activities. You can receive the voucher via email or printed out and packed in a luxurious branded tube. The concept is based on giving the customer the freedom to choose between different price categories.
Case: Our main aim around building this brand was to create a remarkable logo type, together with an outstanding pattern, which when used together in a package design implies that something special is about to be revealed. Just like the care and love that people put in when choosing gifts for their special someone.
Using additional graphic elements we created more brand materials like the actual voucher and brochure with the different services that Gift Tube provides. Furthermore, we worked on building the web design (icons, symbols, iconography, typography and color palettes) and make it stand out on the social media: Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, Youtube.
Outcome: Creating a complete graphic symbol with secondary elements by using modern colors and technologies for an urban and luxury packaging. Further design led us to developing a unique web design based on original icons and symbols for different categories, depicting process instructions, together with 3D mockups and visual compositions of the real product.

LUMBERJACK logotype and package design.
Brief: Create design for a new brand - Beard Products launched on European market.
Case: We created a custom character, specific for the brand name Lumberjack Beard Care. We chose good brand colors, and printing technoogy to create unique labels and packaging
LUMBERJACK beard products are made entirely of natural and organic ingredients.

Limited edition gift box for Jacobsen Brown Ale beer
Brief: As one of the leading beers owned by Carlsberg, Jacobsen Brown Ale is an English inspired ale that had to stand out with a premium packaging.
Case: With its fruity character and historical name behind the brand, our mission was to wrap these specialties in a design for a limited edition gift box.
Outcome: We combined golden foil and liquid varnish with soft-touch laminate finish for the perfect premium look.

Packaging design for freshly roasted coffee beans
Brief: Create labels for a new fresh roasted coffee for retail sale.
The aim is to make people want their coffee with a rich taste quality made by themselves at home.
Aim of package design: Highlighting the personal care and fresh roasted beans, along with the origin, quality and process of making the product.
Having a crafty look and yet simplified design.

Our goal was to create:

Design Depot did a great job in all the tasks, especially in the design. We are very happy with our brand identity design, product label, and web design. We are continuing to use their services when needed.

The project is creating a business from scratches with all its needs. An online platform that needs each detail to be presented digitally.

What was the team composition?
All our communication was directed to the manager Dimitar Dimitrov. For the digital marketing need, he assigned a project manager but continuing to participate in the strategical and operational communication.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
2 years after our platform is well-recognized by the customers. Our brand is well-known and our business is developing every day. Without the stable base on which we step this would be impossible. Nevertheless the Covid 19, we are still developing, although the services we provide as gift vouchers are very much affected by the pandemia.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We are happy with the workflow conditions. All the correspondence was though e-mail, easy to be found and backup.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Design Depot is a company with a manager who is a great professional as a designer and as a manager. His expertise and awareness of each detail in the project helped a lot in the overall result. Their internal communication is very soft and easy to work with.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I believe that Design Depot have capacity for development as a full communication company. They can develop the digital marketing team in regards to create a separate service in support of their existing and new clients.
