We’re a large TravelTech company, and we needed to test conversion rates across different audience segments. The goal was to create a flexible no-code landing page builder.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Design Broker could have done differently?

Honestly, the process was smooth and well-managed overall. If anything, one area for improvement could be around even tighter alignment at the very beginning — making sure internal stakeholders are fully synced before the creative phase kicks off. That would’ve saved us a couple of small back-and-forths later.

ETOSO provides tools and guidance to help small businesses easily plan, produce, and publish their first sustainability reports. Our goal is to make sustainability reporting accessible, affordable, and manageable for those with no prior experience.

What challenge were you trying to address with Design Broker?

Our main goal was to turn a complex SaaS tool into a product that people actually wanted to use — clean, clear, and conversion-friendly. We also needed a brand identity that would feel bold, modern, and trustworthy. It needed to reflect our ambition in the sustainability space and help us stand out when pitching to customers and investors.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Design Broker supported us across multiple areas, starting with branding, then product design, and later the website. They created a standout brand identity based on a unique metaphor: grains of sand. This concept reflects the heart of our product, helping users sift through massive streams of data to find what truly matters. 

The branding scope included the brand metaphor and visual concept, logo design, typography and color system, grid and layout guidelines, visual patterns, and marketing assets and templates. 

Design Broker also delivered a low-code website to quickly test market interest, along with a sharp product video that clearly communicated our value to both users and investors. Everything was delivered fast, with care and consistency — fully aligned with our product vision from day one. 

For ongoing product and marketing design, we’ve been working with Design Broker for over a year now, and we plan to keep going. It’s been a reliable, long-term partnership that scales with our needs.

What is the team composition?

We worked with four specialists through Design Broker: a brand designer, a product designer, a website designer, and a video designer. Each of them was brought in at the right moment and matched to the task — it felt like working with a custom-built team.

They understood the business goals, the product complexity, and the urgency. We were building a high-stakes B2B SaaS product in the sustainability space — and we couldn’t afford design that was just “fine.” We needed product and brand design that would immediately communicate our vision, convert users, and stand out in a crowded European market. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The core design work — branding, product design, website, and video — took about four months. These were big, strategic tasks, and everything was delivered on time and at a high level.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Within just a few months, we launched a completely new product experience, a bold brand identity, a low-code website, and a sharp product video — all aligned with our positioning and goals. The brand helped us stand out in investor conversations and pitch situations. The redesigned product experience improved clarity and engagement with early users. 

While we’re still in the early-stage rollout and testing, the feedback has been very positive — especially from investors and partners. The new brand identity made a strong impression in fundraising conversations, and several investors specifically mentioned how polished and clear the product looked. 

Several investors said the brand felt “premium” and “distinctive.” It helped us stand out in a space where a lot of SaaS products look the same. One investor told us, “This doesn’t look like an early-stage product — it looks ready to scale.” 

How did Design Broker perform from a project management standpoint?

Maria, the founder of Design Broker, stayed close to the process the whole time. She didn’t just introduce a designer and disappear. When something wasn’t working, she stepped in fast, gave honest feedback, and either helped course-correct or brought in someone better suited. It saved us time, avoided awkward conversations, and kept the project moving without losing quality. 

Everything was delivered on time, even with shifting priorities on our side. The team was responsive, flexible, and easy to work with. We primarily communicated via Telegram and regular video calls via Zoom, which worked great for quick updates and staying in sync. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The flexibility and speed were huge for us — but what really stood out was the way Maria stayed involved throughout. She didn’t just match us with designers and disappear. She kept an eye on quality, helped resolve blockers, and made sure the work stayed aligned with our goals. 

Also, the level of talent she brought in was genuinely impressive. Every designer we worked with was not just skilled but really got what we were building. That made a big difference. The mix of speed, flexibility, and top-tier talent is hard to find in one place.

If anything, it would be making sure that expectations across all stakeholders — on our side included — stay fully aligned as the project evolves. We learned that with multiple workstreams and fast timelines, keeping full transparency and alignment becomes extra important.

Maria was always open, responsive, and quick to adapt. Whenever we needed to realign or clarify priorities, she made it easy. It felt more like working with a partner than with a typical vendor.
