Siemens Vision 2020 exhibition Image

Siemens Vision 2020 exhibition

Siemens was planning an event with a central theme: “Vision 2020—The Siemens experience.” As the event was to be held in the Croatian National Theater, an institution with centuries of tradition, they wanted to have a mix of traditional and modern technologies. So, they decided to create an augmented reality exhibition.

For this purpose, 12 images were printed in a large format (100cm × 150cm), with each one depicting

their products and services as well as the company strategy. When attendees pointed a tablet at an image depicting Siemens technology, they were able to see how the technology worked in practice through videos and 3Danimations.

Additionally, using a Samsung Gear VR, visitors could “teleport” into the middle of an offshore wind turbine or the construction site for the Gotthard Tunnel. The exhibition was held over four days. The built-in analytics revealed that over 3.000 animations were activated during the course of the exhibition.

Hyper Fountain VR Image

Hyper Fountain VR

When we were asked by our partners from "Elastique" to try to creatively envision the question "Is memory data?", We have to admit - we scratched our heads for a little bit.

In the same time, "Dornbracht" research lab envisioned an activation which would be more of an art installation than your average marketing activation.

Since "Dornbracht" is very tied to the element of water, creatives from "Elastique" and our

art department have devised a solution that would tie a contemporary art expression, modern technology and "Dornbracht" brand philosophy.

What we have envisioned for this project was very simple in its elegance. Using nothing more than a bucket, a garden hose and a virtual reality headset, we have placed the user into the centre of the experience in which the element of water was presented in a way not seen before.

Upon placing the VR headset on them, visitors would be asked to place their hands under the running water. Achieving synesthesia while combining the element of water with rich graphical content, we strived to show that there is more to life and living than it can be seen with the naked eye.

Mobile tower VR Image

Mobile tower VR

We were approached by our dear partners from "A1 Hrvatska" in order to help them envision a VR scenario which could be shown at the "Career fair at Faculty of electrical engineering and computing" in Zagreb. The aim of the activation was to show the life of engineers dealing with mobile tower maintenance and repairs. We all use mobile telephony and the internet all the time - we seldom stop to think about the driving forces

behind the use.

It was important to communicate the collaborative and problem-solving aspect of the everyday life of a mobile tower maintenance workers.

In order to provide a fully immersive experience, we have installed a harness installation in order to replicate the working conditions of mobile tower technicians. Before the development started, we have taken a 360 ° photo in order to recreate the conditions as much as possible.

While suspended in mid-air, one technician reports the problems to the ground technician, allowing a showcase of collaborative nature of technician work. In addition, both of the technicians need to solve a simple engineering problem in order to progress further in the experience.

A1 wanted to present the future of employment as well as the future of onboarding processes in technologically advanced companies - based on the number of future engineers who wanted to try the experience, we would say that this activation was a great foundation for the technology-enabled future.

Vaillant AR Facotry tour Image

Vaillant AR Facotry tour

Our good friends from the creative agency "Elastique" introduced us to the concept of visits to installations in augmented reality.

Their inquiry was quite simple - "We need both educational and fun activation."

After visiting Vaillant's production site in Remscheid, Germany, the solution presented itself; it was about creating an AR application that would literally turn heads while allowing all the necessary

information to be presented in an engaging way.

Keeping in mind the predominant age of visitors and the desire for an impactful activation that would allow better brand communication, we decided to develop the visit that will engage visitors in a fun but informative way.

The main character of the experience is the Vaillant rabbit, who takes you on a tour of the installation, stopping to highlight the important areas of the installation while teaching visitors the history of the organization.

Schloss Waldenburg experience Image

Schloss Waldenburg experience

Günther Alexander Johann Wilhelm Prince of Schönburg-Waldenburg was a German prince and head of the Schönburg family since 1914.

In this multimedia experience, the Prince takes you on the tour through his estate, castle Waldenburg while providing information about his life and the life of his

family.

Brought to life with the use of modern technologies such as virtual and augmented reality, holography and projection mapping, the story of Schönburg-Waldenburg family unravels before visitors eyes, engaging the visitor in a memorable and interactive way.
Red History Museum Dubrovnik Image

Red History Museum Dubrovnik

Delta Reality was approached by Kresimir Glavinic, a well known cultural creator in Croatia. He envisioned this museum as an exploratory historical cultural project that would provide context to life in socialist Yugoslavia in modern and engaging way.

The app has been deemed a success - 95% of the peopple that visit the exhibition use the app while 99% expressed their satisfaction with the app.

St. Vincent is a Renaissance town, located in the south of central Istria, Croatia. It is famous not only for its history and architecture but also for an interesting historical person, Mare the Witch. In 1632, Mare Radolovich, the herbalist of St. Vincent, was accused of witchcraft by her fellow citizens.

Even though she helped and treated them with her herbal cures, they condemned her and burnt her at the stake in the

backyard of Morosini-Grimani Castle. Three hundred years later, it was decided that Mare deserves another opportunity for a new life. That is why, with the help of new technology, we brought her spirit back to life by giving her a new home in the House of Mare the Witch, a visitor centre.

During this journey, you can try your hand at virtual archery (HTC Vive) and become a knight defending a castle from an invasion of hostile knights, all fully rendered in 3D. The story continues even after you leave the house. You enter a new adventure wearing augmented reality glasses (Microsoft Hololens), whose content is based on the legend of an unknown knight.

With the AR glasses, you can navigate through St. Vincent in search of the lost equipment of the unknown knight. You will be led by the voice of a guide, who will tell you about the places where you can collect the missing items.

AR Brochure App for Wienerberger

We love inquiries coming from usually traditional industries.

"Wienerberger" is the world’s largest producer of bricks, and number one on the clay roof tile market in Europe as well as concrete pavers in Central and Eastern Europe.

With their new line of products, "Wienerberger" wanted to communicate their devotion to constant technological advancement as well as their readiness to make an extra step for their

buyers.

Upon noticing that there are many producers of clay roof tiles, we have decided to make "Wienerberger" stand out by leveraging their existing promotional channel - printed brochures. As one of the leaders in the industry, "Wienerberger" has an established reach and loyal customer base - and the campaign reflected their effort to enable their customers to visualise "Wienerberger" products much easier, hence shortening the buying decision times.

Feedback summary:

Delta Reality has been a pleasure to work with and has led to an increase in business. Their team has gone out of their way to ensure the client’s success; in one instance, they flew all the way back to Germany to address an issue. They’ve secured a long collaboration with their reliability.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of Tourismus und Sport Zwickau, and I’m in charge of the interactive rendering of a German castle.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Delta Reality?

We were looking to create a multi-media tool that would allow users to explore the castle. Ideally, it would also have a story-telling aspect that would engage the spectator in the castle’s history.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Delta Reality’s team came to Germany to shoot the interior of the castle. So far, they’ve produced AR/VR stations, a projection mapping book, and two holographs that would lead guests through and out the castle. While part of the project was finished in November 2019, there’s much more to be done.

How did you come to work with Delta Reality?

We were looking for a partner with both AR/VR capabilities. Delta Reality was the first we found that offered both, and they were cost-effective as well.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent roughly $70,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2019 and the work is ongoing. We’re planning to continue working with them throughout the year.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m absolutely satisfied with our partnership. They’ve proven to be creative, cooperative, and reliable all around. Thanks to their work, we’ve seen an increase in business. When there was something missing from one of the reels, they flew from Croatia back to Germany to reproduce it, free of charge.

How did Delta Reality perform from a project management standpoint?

They managed the project very well. Their cooperative abilities have made the partnership a great one.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The longevity of our relationship is an indicator of their success and reliability.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d really recommend working with them!

The photo booth produced about 5,000 shares and downloads during the Christmas season, which speaks a great deal of Delta Reality’s quality work. They’re an attentive and punctual vendor that’s willing to work out of office hours to deliver on time.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the former head of marketing communications for VIP Hrvatska d.o.o., the second-largest telecommunications company in Croatia.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Delta Reality?

Since the telecommunications market is really competitive, we’re always trying to give our customers a valuable experience through the use of digital technologies. This is where Delta Reality came in.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Delta Reality was involved in several projects. One was developing an AR app for an interactive photo booth for our Christmas campaign. We wanted to have it available for customers waiting in line to be attended. Delta Reality provided us the screen in which customers could stand in front of and use the pre-defined Christmas characters like Santa Claus, the deer, and elves. They could print their photo in the shop and take it with them or opt to have it sent to their email. The photo itself was branded and was something fun customers to take home. At that point, it was the first time that something like it was done in Croatia.

What is the team composition?

We didn’t work directly with the developers. However, the entire team was knowledgeable and could give us advice on what would be the best way to get the product we wanted. Delta Reality’s owner participated as well.

How did you come to work with Delta Reality?

We had a tender and different companies applied. We had worked with Delta Reality before and had a great experience, so we chose them. They also had a very reasonable price.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent €14,000 (approximately $15,600 USD) on their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November until December 2017.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We had approximately 5,000 shares and downloads of the Christmas photos. We worked on different projects with Delta Reality and were always satisfied due to their perfect execution and punctuality. They always go the extra mile in giving us helpful ideas.

How did Delta Reality perform from a project management standpoint?

They were always on time and within budget, and never charged us anything that wasn’t previously defined. Delta Reality even worked nights when necessary in order to provide everything we needed. We used email and phone calls to communicate. In the final stages of the Christmas project, we had a preview in our offices and met a few times so that we could fine-tune the product before implementing it in stores.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Delta Reality did everything on time despite the short deadlines we had. They were amazing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s no improvement necessary for Delta Reality.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Clients should think ahead on what they’d like Delta Reality like them to do.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of Majeutika d.o.o., a Croatian Socialist Arts Exhibition.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Delta Reality?

We wanted new technologies with AR and VR for our exhibit.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We told them what we wanted and they took care of everything. We gave them pictures and videos and made it work. First, they explained the process and then developed an AR app for us. Their team created it with pictures, videos, and animations that pop up and push-button features to play music.

What is the team composition?

There were two directors and two developers working on the app.

How did you come to work with Delta Reality?

We found them on Google and we saw that they had already done work for other cultural events in our hometown. We contacted their past clients and they were all satisfied with their services. We contacted Delta Reality then and were happy with the price.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent €4,500 (approximately $5,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from November 2018–February 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The main statistic we have is that 95% of the people that visit the exhibition use the app. 99% of those who use the app are satisfied with the app.

How did Delta Reality perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything was excellent about their project management approach. We communicate in person, through email, and on the phone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Everything about our engagement was great—we were very satisfied with their work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have no complaints— I can only say good things about them.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the managing director of a creative studio called Studio Tumpic.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Delta Reality?

We had a big European project, which required a lot of presentations about the history of a Croatian city and its landmarks. We needed help from a VR/AR company based in Croatia.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Delta Reality developed an AR project, which incorporated a VR game. Their team provided project mapping and the program’s wireframes. They created a product that allows users to walk through locations wearing AR glasses, which enables them to interact with the legend connected to the city.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with five people, including programmers and an operating manager. Delta Reality just assigned a project manager.

How did you come to work with Delta Reality?

We searched for Croatian companies that specialize in VR/AR and found two. We held interviews and liked the way Delta Reality used AR the best.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2017, and the collaboration is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

In terms of KPI, during the first three months after launch, 53% of 1,000 visitors rented the product. We've worked well together. Now, we have four projects that we’re developing.

How did Delta Reality perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m satisfied. Delta Reality hasn’t missed any deadlines. They’re growing so fast so they just assigned a project manager. We’ve worked mostly with the owner who communicates with their development team. It's been a little bit of a problem because he’s focused on different things.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing they could improve.

The AR brochure won first place for its category in an awards competition. Delta Reality’s work also generated positive feedback and interest from other firms. This team communicates effectively and delivers on time.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m an account executive for a company that does a wide range of services for advertising, marketing, concept creation, create visuals, video materials, and everything that goes into advertising and marketing campaigns.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Delta Reality?

Our client publishes a brochure that has all sorts of visuals, products, and services. They wanted something up-to-date. We came up with the idea to create AR inside the brochure. People could download an app and see the beautiful house project that pops out from the magazine. In the application, they could choose roof colors.

We plan to expand those services such that users can virtually walk through the house project and see all the products that the company is offering to the customers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed an AR brochure app. In the first version, we could only modify the color of the roof. They coded AR for wall materials like clay bricks and roof system solutions to build up a roof. We’re still updating the app.

What is the team composition?

I was mostly in contact with Jerko (COO, Delta Reality), who delegated the work to his team.

How did you come to work with Delta Reality?

We hired them because they were excellent for the job.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2018 and the work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our local competition has nothing like this AR brochure. We wanted to do something better. The project won first place as the most innovative product from our client. Our award was also Delta Reality’s award because they created what we had in mind.

There were many companies in Croatia that were interested in AR after they saw the AR app that Delta Reality delivered for our client. We wouldn’t have received any kinds of requests or questions or anything on this topic if they hadn’t delivered so well. They programmed it so the application works perfectly. We’re looking forward to any new projects. We have no reason whatsoever to seek help from another company to provide us with such projects.

We want to widen the product spectrum. We want the application to become more interactive than it is now. In the future, we want to make all of their products available when that house pops out of the magazine.

How did Delta Reality perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything went really smoothly. There were no delays nor problems that arose. They handled their part of the job extremely well. We got the AR application really quickly because they know what they’re doing. There were no communication issues.

It’s a pleasure working with them. They’re our partners and we’re proud of it. We look forward to every new project. We collaborated on the ideas and there was a lot of communication involved. We wanted the product to be the best it could and we believe we achieved that by working together.

We held several meetings, during which Jerko always took charge. We met mostly in our headquarters or in theirs. Our discussions didn’t focus too much on who was doing what. We also had Trello meetings between us, our clients, and them. It was a good collaboration and we can only speak the best of them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The deadlines were always spot on or delivered early. We could count on them to deliver. Communication was excellent. It’s a pleasure working with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we had no problems with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Clients have the upper hand because they dictate everything. You have to adjust yourselves to make the best out of it. Every aspect of the experience of working with Delta Reality is really great. No slightly major problems ever occurred and we’re very proud of that.
