ClaimInterior Design Studio.
In 1974, deCondé’s, a storefront interior design studio, opened in the historic Paramount Picture building located along Salt Lake City’s “Old Film Row.” Film Row got its name from the major film companies’ distribution houses that ran along the south side of 100 South, between 200 and 300 East in downtown. Thirty years later, founder, Ken deCondé, along with business partner, Harry Warrick, had expanded the original 1000 sq.ft. studio into a 50,000 sq.ft. retail showroom. The expanded showroom was housed in three buildings that previously stored films for Paramount, Universal / Fox, and Disney studios.
