Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of Nexmove Technologies LTD, an airport taxi company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Deck Information & Technology?
We needed a partner to develop a taxi booking app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Deck Information & Technology developed a taxi booking app that includes GPS technology and was customized to suit the local environment. It’s cloud-based software, and it works with some additional components. We’ve now come up with a strategic deployment timeline with the team. We’re currently beta testing the solution, and we deployed a nationwide model.
What is the team composition?
We communicate with most of the team, specifically the management, admin, accounts, development, and logistics team.
How did you come to work with Deck Information & Technology?
Due to the unique nature of this project, we wanted an IT team who could provide increased attention to the solution we were working on. We wanted a technology partner that could work effectively, and we ended up choosing Deck Information & Technology.

We started working together in September 2018, and it’s ongoing.

The feedback has been fantastic. The main KPIs have been around communication, and it’s been around 92%–95%. We don’t feel the distance at all, and we have the benefit of third-party component development. I’ve enjoyed the content development that they did.
How did Deck Information & Technology perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management is good, and they stick to the timelines we’ve agreed upon. To communicate, we use email and Jira. It feels like we’re physically working together because of their communication skills.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If you’re looking for an IT partner who will give you the best project management, sticks to timelines, and will be able to work adequately from a remote setting, they’re the best partner.
