Project management was excellent. We needed a custom model given that we are a startup and teams typically work on sites. Dazeworks were very flexible and agile.

Commitment to partnership and ensuring success was the most impressive part. Dazeworks adapted to our requirements and worked as a partner — not just a vendor. Their ability to work remotely was a great asset as we were able to do releases on time during the covid lockdown as we worked from home.

Team Dazeworks have been very helpful, rather I would say they have ushered us in the right direction. With the help of dazeworks we have successfully created an MIS on Salesforce. The team has helped us right from the architecture to testing and data uploading of data. Also they have provided the necessary support to help us with the working of the newly created platform.

I am the COO of EpicVue. We provide satellite television in the long-haul trucking space.
What challenge were you trying to address with Dazeworks Inc.?
We were looking to do some fairly sophisticated configuration integration of our Salesforce platform to Community Cloud.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Dazeworks integrated our Accounting Seeds and general Salesforce platform into Community Cloud, and then designed and created a co-op program and portal for our customers.
What is the team composition?
We had a project manager we met with on a weekly basis and a few designers/programmers who worked in India with the developers.
How did you come to work with Dazeworks Inc.?
My Salesforce administrator had been looking for some development help with Salesforce when he came across some comments their executives were writing on different issues in the Salesforce space. We were really pleased with their expertise and price range compared to our local partner, so we decided to reach out.
How much have you invested with them?
We have spent around $30,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from May 2016–May 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Dazeworks was able to provide the development resources we needed at 20% of the cost we were incurring prior to hiring them.
How did Dazeworks Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
They did a good job. We really appreciated the communication, and they stayed on task to keep the project moving along nicely.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Aside from having a great price point, we were able to communicate with them much better than with past vendors working out of India. While there was a small communication gap at times, they are very knowledgeable about American culture so it really didn’t become the issue I feared it might.

My advice would be to establish weekly project management status updates so you can review the things they've accomplished over the last period of time and what their plans are for the upcoming period.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the president of Nitor Solutions Incorporated. We’re a Tier 3 IT engineering company focused on emerging technology, with an extreme focus on Tier 3 escalation.
What challenge were you trying to address with Dazeworks?
We were working with the recommended sales force partner to flip our professional services automation tool from ConnectWise to Salesforce, but we were missing timelines and were far off the plan of execution.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve been helping us build out automation across our opportunity lifecycle, sales and engineering processes, as well as our invoicing and accounts receivable collection. As we get things taken care of, other evolutions occur, and we go through and set up additional projects.
In the beginning, because we were so far behind our original timeline for getting off of ConnectWise, they provided us with three shifts of development. They have multiple locations across the world, so we were able to offset our delivery times with full 24-hour development. We probably won't work as heavy as we did in the beginning, but we’re still going through various levels of evolution for knocking out as much automation as possible so we don't have to hire back-office support and we can stay lean with Tier 3 consultants and engineers.
What is the team composition?
At this point, we’ve been siloed, working with a dedicated admin who understands our business and the automation that we’ve built. When we want something done quicker than one person can handle, they bring an additional development tier.
How did you come to work with Dazeworks?
We came to see that our previous vendor was using offshore developers that weren’t associated with Salesforce, which explained many of the issues they’d had with understanding and migrating our ConnectWise information into Salesforce. We began looking around and talking to other consultants that were recommended highly in the U.S., and they all pointed us to Dazeworks. We reached out to them directly and set up a partnership.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $45,000-$50,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since August 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They were able to create an accounts receivable, late-fee automation system. We sell large, expensive solutions, and we’re not accounting people, so tracking our accounts receivable was really difficult for us. They helped us reduce that cost significantly. Getting the money quicker like that is a huge win for us.
How did Dazeworks perform from a project management standpoint?
We do a lot of our own project management in-house as it relates to engineering projects, setting up servers, and virtualization, but they did a good job in the beginning of bringing in their project management team to assess where we were at and get us on a corrective plan.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I think the global reach is really beneficial. Most companies can't offer those three tiers of development and work that many hours in a single 24-hour day. And they overcome that via multiple locations across the world. Also, having MVP-level Salesforce team members is the biggest difference between them and a lot of other people.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The one thing that we've always noticed, and it might just be how they handle us, because of our project management abilities and what we communicated in the beginning that we wanted, but I would say account management. Some overall account manager that brings that sales aspect to the relationship would be nice.
Any advice for potential customers?
They’re very nice and accommodating, but like with any developer or development organization, the understanding that anything can be done for the price has to be managed by the customer. There's a timeline in that equation that needs to be managed: deliverables vs. timeline expectations.
Dazeworks efforts digitized a manual process, aggregating all data and business processes in a centralized solution. As a result, internal management gained better visibility into their company, and there was a reduction in errors. Dazeworks' team was committed to ensuring client success.
