What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
DataVinci Analytics Agency provides my best and most cost-efficient workers across the board. We’re delivering our outcomes, and our clients are renewing. Our business model depends entirely on renewals.
If I get a new client and need a new contributor, I can just Slack Sanmeet. I don’t have to interview potential employees and spend time on Zoom calls — I trust DataVinci.
How did DataVinci Analytics Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
When they say they’re going to do something, it’s done by the delivery date. If there’s any issue, they communicate about it well ahead of time so that we can adjust course. They keep up with their admin work.
We use Asana for project management and Harvest for time tracking. We have three stand-up meetings with them per week via Zoom. We collaborate using Google Office Suite.

We secured a new client who wanted help specifically with their website data layer, a new Segment data pipeline and Google Analytics. Having mostly worked with identified CRM data in the past, we were a little weak in this area, so decided to get a bit of expert help behind the scenes with this implementation to make sure it went well.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We had been approached by DataVinci just prior to securing this project so their timing was good. We noted past experience with Segment and also reference and background checked them successfully. Pricing was acceptable too.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Client had two websites and was implementing a new e-commerce platform. They wanted comprehensive funnel conversion tracking for the first time, including UTM sources and cross-domain tracking with a common session cookie.
Segment was to be deployed to collect and distribute browsing events to Google UA and GA4, plus Facebook & Google conversion APIs. We needed to define the data layer events we wanted the dev team to deliver (and negotiate these), configure "GTM in Segment" architecture, configure tags in GTM and set up the custom dimensions and initial views in the two GA properties.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Their founder was our initial contact who then handed the project over to an individual technician to help us through the project.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The project was a success! We encountered some problems getting the data layer events we needed from the web developers and we had to make some compromises on the data we could collect.
But downstream from there everything flowed successfully through the data pipelines to GA and the conversion APIs. The client is happy because she has delivered proper conversion pipeline analytics for the first time. We learned a lot along the way from DataVinci Analytics Agency, improving our area of weakness.

Our technician from DataVinci was always responsive, courteous, and patient with our knowledge gaps.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Our technician form DataVinci was based in London, 13 hours behind us in NZ. So sometimes he was up helping us in the middle of his night, without any complaints. That's impressive.
