I’m the director of Building New Hope, a non-profit organization.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with DAMN Advertising?

We wanted to do some rebranding so we hired DAMN Advertising.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve helped us rebrand, tweaking the logo and refreshing it, while keeping our mission and aspects that are important to the board members. They removed things that were out of date and made the brand more appealing to the younger generation. 

They also redid our website, making it more user friendly. They changed the menu, aesthetics, and more. They’ve created a logo for our coffee that represents the fair trade we do. They helped come up with the name for the coffee. Currently, they’re helping us design the labels for the coffee bags.

What is the team composition?

The size and make-up of the team varies according to the project we’re working on. There is a different team for the website than for the rebranding.

How did you come to work with DAMN Advertising?

I found them through a personal connection. They understood our mission, and we believed they could give us the refresh we needed.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in 2018 and our collaboration is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The board members feel the core of the organization is intact and have given positive feedback about the changes that were made. 

How did DAMN Advertising perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very good at setting things up for us to decide upon and giving input. They’re very professional in how they work with us. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have great ideas and have been very helpful for us — they work hard to satisfy their clients. We weren’t sure what to do before, but they’ve helped us. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything.

They’re good at understanding what you want, contributing ideas, and delivering a product you’ll be happy with.
