We could stay operational and safe even in lockdown! COVID mapping gave field agents the insights on whether to take up a delivery or defer or try another route. They could bank upon the data provided and safely complete a delivery. Now, most of our field operations along with periodic reports are automatically scheduled.

Due to COVID, on site was not a choice anyway, so the development team was offshore. They were mostly available round the clock on Skype and mail, honoring our urgency.

The data was distributed in various platforms and it was not purely migration task. Most of the COTS plugins we checked would temper with data fields, as it was not uniform. Manipulation was needed for both parent and child records for uniformity. Damco standardized the database and migrated to Salesforce. They also validated the data post-migration.

Client called us to tell that they were able to save 10 hours a week in just accessing customer information. I feel it is huge for the beginning.
