BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

We have a handyman business called Harding’s Property Services. My husband is the one who offers handyman-type services in our local area while I’m in charge of handling the company’s social media and advertising activities.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Daim Digital?

We were trying to establish our online presence which combines all our social media pages. We also wanted to host images, create contact forms, and do other similar things. Overall, we needed a professional approach to digital marketing, so we hired Daim Digital.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Since the town we live in has a fairly older population, we’ve shared with Daim Digital that we wanted things to be simple and easy to navigate. We’ve also wanted them to apply that to the rest of our advertising materials such as business cards.

The team’s work involves managing our digital marketing efforts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Google. They’re also helping us with our website, and we continue to work together to add more features to the platform. In addition, we’re working with them to learn various things related to our website and social media, including how we can monitor our traffic.

What is the team composition?

We’re working with Damien (Digital Consultant) and he helps us with web development.

How did you come to work with Daim Digital?

Damien was referred to us, and he was willing to work with us. He also listened to things we made and eventually put together a great proposal.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $1,000 AUD (approximately $880 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since our website is user-friendly, older people have contacted us through the website asking for specific jobs for my husband.

How did Daim Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

We haven’t established any deadlines, but Daim Digital has completed what we’ve asked them to complete fairly straight away. They’re also very good at communicating, and we mainly communicate through email. Overall, we’re very happy with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They clearly understand what we want from our website, which allows them to meet our expectations. They’ve also been able to follow the aesthetics we wanted to create.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. Although this is the first time I’ve worked with anyone to do a website, I’ve been quite happy with what they’ve done.
