I am the owner of an online ecommerce platform which specialises in retailing eco-friendly home & giftware. I am responsible for the website development including SEO.

What were your goals for this project?

Our main goal for the project was to understand how we could increase our online presence with clear actionable points, along with having an agency on hand who we could turn to for advice and questions moving forward.

How did you select this vendor?

A number of freelancers and agencies approached us for the work. We chose Dachshund Digital based on their previous experience and competitive pricing. They were also very helpful in their initial conversations and very responsive compared to some other providers.

Describe the project in detail.

We have a reasonably well established eCommerce platform selling B2C giftware. The website has grown organically over the years, but we wanted to increase it's online presence. Dachshund Digital did a full review of the site and came back with clear advice and actionable points in improving its reach. We are currently working through the report to implement their suggestions. The report was incredibly thorough and helpful.

What was the team composition?

We had direct communication with the owner during the process which was very helpful. Her approach was professional and open at all times.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The report that was generated identified areas on the site which I had been meaning to complete, but had forgotten and missed. Having these areas consolidated and identified by someone external was really helpful in providing a clear project list to work through. The results have been shared with our web designer, who agrees with the report detail and will work on actioning many of the points. Over the coming months I am sure we will see a positive impact on our overall site performance.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project worked very smoothly. The requirements and expectations were made clear at the start and the project was delivered on time very effectively. Dachshund Digital have been available for follow up questions too.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The in-depth report, along with their willingness to support and offer additional advice to help build the relationship has been invaluable.

Are there any areas for improvement?

At present I am unable to suggest any areas where things could have been done differently.

I am the CEO and founder of an online and blended learning education company with more than 18,000 students globally. We have 40 full-time employees and over 250 contractors based in Ireland, the UK, Portugal and Australia. Our head office is in Dublin, Ireland.

Dachshund Digital was hired to manage our Google Ads account on an ongoing monthly basis. The company has grown and diversified over the five years that we have been working with Dachshund Digital which means that this now involves the management of 20 different Google Ads accounts for twenty web properties.

What were your goals for this project?

When Dachshund Digital took over the ads the business was growing and costs were getting out of hand. We needed to continue to grow and dominate our markets while also decreasing costs per click and costs per lead.

How did you select this vendor?

We had past experience of dealing with external vendors for Google Ads management but did not feel that we were getting the most out of our ads so we moved the management back inhouse. This was a mistake and we were not able to handle the volume of work required so began again looking for a smaller external vendor who could give our account the care needed. We found Dachshund Digital through personal connections and began working with them on a trial basis before extending to an ongoing contract.

Describe the project in detail.

As we had already been running Google Ads for a number of years the project handover was pretty smooth. We gave Dachshund Digital access to our account, outlined our goals, expectations and budget and the rest took care of itself. They currently manage our ads on an ongoing basis and we maintain regular contact regarding new products, markets, promotions etc.

What was the team composition?

We work directly with a single Google ads manager at Dachshund Digital who liaises with a number of people within our organisation for creative and financial input.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our business has grown steadily over the last five years and reliable Google Ads management has been a key component in this. Particular success was achieved from remarketing campaigns which kept our brand top of mind during the relatively lengthy customer decision process. In the early days, we also benefitted from better-targeted campaigns which resulted in reducing costs.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Straight-forward.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their ability to work largely autonomously was a relief for our overstretched staff and their attention to detail built our trust.
