They helped us create a mobile app on iOS and Android for one of our clients. The idea of the app was to create a marketplace between party organizers and attendees. The owners of the app would get a transaction for every ticket sale for an event. There are many technical features such as:

• QR code reader (for parties)

• Subscription system
• Profiles
• Filters for parties
• Parties on the map etc...

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were always informed of every step of the development of the application. We had weekly meetings and complete "feature by feature" summaries. It was very nice because we always had the big picture.

All the steps were done on time. That's pretty impressive for a mobile application development agency. Whenever we had a question, they answered us in time (within 2 hours). We communicated via Slack and Google Meet. Excellent project management!

Honestly, almost not. They were very patient with us despite the delay we had. They made extra features at no extra cost. I have worked with other agencies and it was hell. They are professionals. I can only recommend them.

The app is being used by the members, but not so intensively as we'd like. Some functions are not obvious and are not easily understandable by users.

Communication tools and timelines are excellent. However, you need to really have a vision of what you need and how you need and also be able to push your views through. Tend to say "no" and not think about workaround to reach a desired goal. Also if you rely on them they give you just a basic tool with many obvious features missing.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They had a good attitude and the ability to follow deadlines.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Yes, not recommended if you develop an app for the first time. They cannot think as a client and if a client misses an obvious feature - they will not tell you "hey, you can do this thing, it will help you". No, they will just do exactly, word per word what you say, without trying to go an extra step for a better result. But if you have a precise and clear, very-very details description of what you want - they will do it good.

During the initial discussion stage, they were very technical about the whole process and they managed to give answers to all of my questions about the implementation details.

As the app was using Spotify's APIs, it was essential to pay extra attention to details to avoid violating any of their policy. As a result, I was handed an app that was nicely designed and smooth. Any edge case that I would think of was handled sensibly.

The overall experience was top-notch. The work was finished way quicker than I would imagine. By providing beta builds, I was able to communicate with them effectively and got the desired product.

It was easy to discuss the app goals with the PM. Even tho there was a time zone difference, the team was very responsive and open to feedback.

A couple of times the dev suggested some alternative solutions to tasks, which ended up being more efficient. This is a key part, because I overlooked something and he cared enough to bring up solutions that helped me to get the desired results.

Cyprus developed a version 1 of the application that communicated with our backend servers. We used Google Maps APIs to detect driving. They developed the data transmission protocol so data could be transferfed. They helped us test the app.

Both of them followed a professional working structure using relevant tools to communicate, share designs & discuss progress.

Personally what really made me enjoy working with Cypress is that the entire team adopted my project as if it was their own, they actively provide feedback and find ways to improve our final product so that we avoided as many pitfalls as possible when we launched.

To have an internal tool for internal that allows our operation team to receive instant information on non-functional hardware. We can then evaluate the problem and fix the issue remotely or send a technician.

We shortlisted three companies and then selected Cypress because that had strict deadlines and promised a short delivery period, they’re a professional and flexible team that was ready to give effective recommendations even before they were selected, and their price vs quality ratio was excellent.

They developed an application that receives data from hardware, analyzes it, then prioritizes the information and sends an appropriate notification to our team. Based on that, the team is able to coordinate its work and increase the efficiency of the operations. It also generates the most optimal route for technicians to follow, based on the priorities established by the system.

There were three developers, a scrum master, and an account/project manager.

The project was definitely successful because it covers all the business needs that our company had. The app has a great UX design that makes it easy to use and accessible to our employees.

We were provided with a detailed roadmap of the work, and all updates were available instantly. Overall, communication was very well organized. We mostly dealt with the account manager, which made it easy for us to communicate and organize an efficient workflow.

I was impressed by their flexibility, knowledge, and expertise. We only had an initial idea of what we needed, then they drafted the project overview, with really valuable inputs.

The app meant to digitize lecturers job in universities. The app is developed for students. It included displaying and managing preset lectures and test/quizzes. Working with local server to get the lectures and modify them to show in the app.

There were 2 developers assigned to the project and one project manager on their side to keep the contact with me and report on the progress.

The app didn't intend for the large user base, however, the client tested it with several groups of students and was very satisfied with the results.

They displayed great problem-solving and communication skills. They responded to emails in a timely fashion and maintained transparency into the work they performed with their team members. They delivered daily progress reports and were very quick to solve problems when they appeared.

Their dedication to the project was impressive. They tried very hard to find the best solutions for every challenge that the project had.

The Change Management. The project scope may be better defined by both sides. The documentation was well formed for the 1st stage, but not all the changes required by the client side had been documented by Cypress.
