Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the HR manager of culture and values for Westlake ACE Hardware.

What challenge were you trying to address with CVP Productions?

We wanted an introductory video for associate onboarding purposes.

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, we decided what the overall objective of the video would be, and sat down with Rob (President, CVP Productions) and his team to get a  better sense of our goals for the video. Then, we started the filming process, and we went into stores and got some footage of the corporate headquarters with associate interviews. Finally, we got a rough cut of the video and were able to edit it out into a final version.

What is the team composition?

Rob was our main point of contact, but we worked with 2-3 other crew-members on set.

How did you come to work with CVP Productions?

I did a Google search for production companies in my area and talked with a few different groups. CVP Productions was recommended to me by a colleague who had a very positive experience.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in June 2018 and we wrapped up in November 2018. The process was definitely slower on our side, just because we had to coordinate schedules with so many different stakeholders.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The video was received well. It accomplished what we intended, as far as being inspirational and informative for every new associate.

How did CVP Productions perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very cordial. I think the spirit of the whole team was very good; they were fun, but also serious about their skills. Overall, they were very good to work with.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team, as a whole, was very personable. Rob is skilled at editing and just envisioning what a video could become. He has years of experience doing videography, and I think that’s what gave us real peace of mind. He was so easy to work with.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they came through on their part.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would tell them that they won’t be disappointed if they choose CVP Productions; they’re just a delight to work with.
