we developed our web product, however we didn't have enough resources to finish it. We hired Custom Solutions to help us release first version of the web app.

Custom Solution was recommended from my personal network. I looked for an outsource company who can do full-stack tasks well.

I worked with two people from Custom Solutions, one is CEO another is Lead Developer

Due to budgets project not going to start for another 1-2 months. General feedback is positive, they were able become familiar with established project very quickly.

PM work was done from our side. We had some misunderstanding with task, but I think task description from our PM was not made perfectly clear.
Custom Solutions provided estimates for tasks and then agreed for a fix price.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Custom Solutions shows big respect to their client. Lead developer found some unwritten bugs and fixed them on their own.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I think we had a good overall experience.

For what projects/services did your company hire Custom Solutions, and what were your goals?
We hired Custom Solutions as a full stack development team working on a combination of Asp.Net web services on the backend and angular on the front end. Custom Solutions also provided Sql Server database development work.
How did you select Custom Solutions and what were the deciding factors?
We chose Custom Solutions because they provided the right balance of cost and expertise that we were looking for.

We hired them to help us develop our product and their work was directed using our Microsoft DevOps work items system. Based on our business needs, they'd be assigned various tasks to complete. They were expected to deliver code that accomplished their tasks.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Our initial contact with Custom Solutions was facilitated by Vitaly. We negotiated prices and hours with him but for the development work we interacted directly with their developers. We worked with three different developers and all were competent and could fulfill the tasks we gave them.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The work Custom Solutions did helped us land a new client and we were able to upsell existing clients.

We used Microsoft's DevOps to manage the work by creating work items. For general communication and questions we interacted with them via Skype. Although we didn't have defined timelines, Custom Solutions always finished their work quickly.

I really enjoyed the variety of skills and knowledge all of their team members possessed. We never doubted they could accomplish what we asked them to do.

For what projects/services did your company hire Custom Solutions, and what were your goals?
I needed to find a good team able to implement and deliver an ERP system for my client in Canada. The blinds factory needed to have a software in order to manage it's production and distribution.
How did you select Custom Solutions and what were the deciding factors?
A friend of mine had a positive experience with Custom Solutions and recommended me this company.

As a test task we have were suggested to implement one module which supposed to calculate blinds cost based on such parameters as length and width, fabric selection and blinds type. Also the price depended on the price of pieces and selected optional elements.
By that time company had already ordered design so we had mockups and needed to do the logic implementation. So we did the estimation and planned 6 weeks of work - 3 sprints. Each 2 weeks we needed to show a demo showing our progress and achieved results. After 6 weeks we delivered a ready to use module with role based access mechanism.
The customer was super happy to see such an impressive performance and we gained a 3-year contract. During the next 3 years we were continuously enhancing the functionality planning our milestones and deliveries.

I had a manager and 1-5 developers.

We implemented a B2B software satisfying needs of a blinds factory and it's 80+ retailers network. It was a project I'm really proud of.

We've been using scrum methodology in our work having daily stand up calls through Skype. Outlook was a main means of communication. As a source control we have been using SourceTree and JIRA as a bug tracking system.

We were quite impressed by how quickly they manage to organize their work taking into account 7-hour time difference and a need to establish all processes remotely.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I truly believe we did a great job and the customer's satisfaction is a confirmation to my words.
The client was pleased with how the team was able to familiarize themselves well with the project. They were attentive enough to handle unwritten bugs that could have diminished the quality of the web app. Upon negotiation, they were also quick and transparent in providing estimates.
