Found them on line and the Currently "PMO" - project management officer Alex was great and got my requirements very quickly - the developers hit all deadlines

One of the projects was a recruitment website that has no middle staff / you pay to post job all related to dental and applicants apply - then recruiter downloads cv to start interviews ( cuts out middle man ) Other jobs was high end E commerce

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Very early days as both projects are starting digital marketing and we are very happy with the outcome- we believe both projects will make our clients a lot of money given time

They went the extra mile to make sure they delivered the project on time and where quit happy to make a few amendments at a cost to them - clearly they say the bigger picture and it paid off as we have full time staff

I’m the founder and director of business development for a software company. We provide solutions for the financial market analysis of digital assets.

What challenges were you trying to address with CUDEV?

We wanted to find qualified and capable software developers to help us meet our development goals.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve worked on several software packages for us. Currently, they’re helping develop a website that shows the liquidity of various digital assets. It also handles things such as sector indices and regional markets.  We’re also building a software extension for a digital currency trading platform. 

In addition, we recently rolled out an extensive modular API data system.

What is the team composition?

We work with a project manager, several part-time QA people, a part-time graphic designer, and three dedicated developers. 

How did you come to work with CUDEV?

We found them on Upwork. We tried out about five software development teams who we each gave small projects to. After a few months, it was clear that CUDEV was the best, so they became our sole development provider. 

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent more than $250,000 so far. 

What is the status of this engagement?

I think we started working together in February 2018, and our work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We run web checks to see the speed of loading and the quality of the code. We also perform SEO research that indicated the quality of the data we’re conveying through the code. We’ve had other developers look at our work, and they’ve given us very positive feedback. They always talk about how clean the code is. The quality of their development is high. We’ve heard nothing but praise. 

How did CUDEV perform from a project management standpoint?

We have biweekly meetings with them. We also have a dedicated Slack channel, so we’re in constant communication. The project managers we’ve worked with have been amazing. Their project management is fantastic. The requirements for our early project lacked a lot of specificities, but they still managed to make it work. They put together a project and gave us deliverables within the timeframes and budget outlined.

What did you find most impressive about them? 

We’re always impressed with the products they deliver. A lot of our solutions are quite technical and some of the requirements include pages-long formulas, but they get it. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Everyone has room for improvement, however, there’s nothing that’s glaring. They’ve addressed any issues that have come up. We don’t have problems with them. Bugs come up, that happens with every development team, but we’re happy with the engagement. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers? 

Give them the benefit of the doubt and be open to what they have to say. Engage them like they’re a part of your team.

I’m the CTO for Guide to Iceland.

What challenge were you trying to address with CUDEV?

We had a small team of developers and were looking to add more to the team.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The developers work with our in-house developers to build new features, do architecture, maintain our software code base, fix bugs, and work on the user interface, among other things on our e-commerce site.

They do server-side and frontend web development. Users can search, filter, and sort data connected to external services. There is user customizability, as well.

What is the team composition?

The team scales up or down based on development requirements. Besides developers, there is now a QA person and a project manager. We interact with all members of the team.

How did you come to work with CUDEV?

We initially found one developer on Upwork. Once we were working with him and liked his performance, we added more from the company.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $1 million – $2 million.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around April 2017, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We focus on productivity and creativity. They work well, and are agile. Whenever there is something that needs to be corrected, they immediately take care of it.

How did CUDEV perform from a project management standpoint?

Meeting deadlines is difficult, in general, as accurate estimates are hard to come by.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are responsive and very diligent in their work.

I currently work as a Chieft Technology Officer for HUH School, a company that markets an e-learning app.

We hired CUDEV to provide additional developing resources to manage finishing an overhaul project on time with the client deadline.

What were your goals for this project?

Accelerating the development process and get qualified resources to ship a secure and stable product. The aim was to get experienced resources that could quickly understand the project and grasp the goals that we aimed for

How did you select this vendor?

I was referred to CUDEV by another fellow Ukrainian company with which I had a bried collaboration. I was contacted initially through Linkedin by Ukrainian developers so I guess that's how it all started

Describe the project in detail.

The goal was to overhaul the app and enable more subjects, improving on the only supported english subject provided by the app initially. CUDEV provided 2 skilled developers that could work on 3 technologies, VueJS, Laravel, and React Native. The two developers joined our team, and I was the one managing that whole workflow as we integrated them into our planning weekly and daily meeting.

What was the team composition?

Our team was composed of me, another fellow developer based in Paris, a remote developer based in Sofia, Bulgaria. To which we have added Vlad and Nikolai, which CUDEV skilfully provided.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We managed to deliver the aimed project with little delay, which met our expectations as we were aiming for probably more delay haven't we had help from CUDEV.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The guys CUDEV provided were fluent in English, with Vlad being really the highlight as he was skilled above average and spoke perfect english. We provided tasks on our project management board (Asana), and the two developers reported there their advancement.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Was was most impressive was how quickly we got things started, and how quickly the developers were operational. Also liked how they tasked their CTO to check our project to help speed things up from the start.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Maybe, the only downside was in communication skills from the developers. I think they could have been more expressive and taking more initiatives than what ended up being the case.

It was arranged by emails and communicating by Skype and it was seamless.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I found most impressive that fact that they always do what they say and promise, they are detail oriented very timely and efficient.

We can all improve of course, but, in my humble opinion, it's hard to improve on the superb service they provided.
