I’m the co-founder of FlowActiv, an information product business with a focus on selling fitness and weight-loss courses online.

I brought on Josh (Advisor, Cubatica Pty Ltd) and his team to take over the management of our Facebook and Google Ad accounts, in addition to starting native ad campaigns. He and his team managed our entire media buying wing. They also helped us with strategic ideas, helped with our landing page, set up pixel implementations, and put together plans for quizzes and more.

Josh was my main point of contact, but I also worked with their head of media buying, a project manager, a copywriter, and a designer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I’ve been exceptionally pleased with their results. Within six weeks of working with Cubatica Pty Ltd, we saw a 200% ROI on our ad spend. We experienced steady scaling, which was a welcome change after our experience with a disappointing media buying team in the past.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Josh was responsive through Slack and email and always made sure we could connect with our project manager. We had no issues caused by different time zones because they held relatively open hours. I liked that I didn’t need to do any hand-holding. If I mentioned something to their team, I knew it would get addressed.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed with how hands-off I could be as they accomplished everything to meet our goals. I was afforded the freedom to focus on other aspects of the business because I knew Josh and his team were reliable. They offered wonderful guidance, showing they were committed to our success.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've worked with them since starting the company, so they've definitely helped improve our engagement and attracted more users over the years. They've been great about figuring out exactly what type of marketing campaigns work best for us, which has been hugely valuable.

They've been great to work with overall. They're responsive on Slack and proactive in communications. Having Josh involved from a strategic standpoint has also helped keep our projects on track.

Joshua (Founder, Cubatica Pty Ltd) manages our Facebook account and ads. We rely on him for everything, including producing our creatives, segmenting and selecting our audiences, setting up our offers, and helping with landing pages. He has been instrumental in determining the flow and structure of what happens once our customer clicks on an ad. Joshua has also been involved in some of our conversion rate optimization. For example, we’re currently trying to expand our ad spend, and his team is integral to that.

What is the team composition?

Joshua is my primary point of contact. We also work with another member of his team who provides reports and manages the account.

How did you come to work with Cubatica Pty Ltd?

He was recommended to our founders by our Google display advertiser agency. We also did some research and heard great things about them from their former and current clients.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent over $1 million on their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in July 2017, and the work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

So far, we’ve been very happy with the results. For example, they’ve lowered our cost per acquisition (CPA). Our return has been phenomenal, with metrics of 20% and more. During the holiday season, we went from an average monthly revenue of $200,000 to $700,000 in November and just under $800,000 in December. That dropped a little after the holiday rush, but we still get almost $500,000 a month since January.

We’ve had explosive growth over the last few years after going into retail locations. A big part of that growth is due to Joshua’s work. Not only has he given us more exposure, his knowledge of conversion rate optimization helps us maximize the return on our ads and integrate them into messaging on other channels like email and organic search.

How did Cubatica Pty Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything is running efficiently. We use email and Slack. Even though he’s in Australia and we’re on the West Coast, communication is not a problem. He likes to work pretty late, so he’s always around. He gets things done and isn’t a burden to me. If I’m unable to provide him the information he needs, he’s able to figure it out for us and guide the team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m pretty impressed with their digital marketing knowledge. Joshua is always available to answer questions and provide insight. He loves to talk about marketing and knows what’s going on in the industry. He’s able to see the complete picture so that we don’t waste time. We love that he’s blunt and to the point. He’s really been a great help to us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have any complaints, although I sometimes wish that he lived closer.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s best to work closely with Joshua. Try to deliver everything he asks for in a timely manner and take his advice on setting up the funnel and identifying your target audience.
