In addition, they also created and ran a backlinking program for us where they secured approximately 5 backlinks per month.

Colorado SEO Pros created a comprehensive SEO strategy that included an SEO content strategy, multi-faceted link-building strategy, and technical SEO strategy to address search-engine accessibility issues.

They first began with an initial research period that was used to create each part of the SEO strategy, then delivered documents and reports for each area of SEO. The strategy was tracked within an online project management system which our team had access to.

Technical Strategy: We received a report with specific technical issues on the website that prioritized fixes and provided detailed recommendations.

Colorado SEO Pros worked directly with our developer to provide him with the details he needed to execute solutions, and then performed follow up testing to confirm success. We were able to efficiently fix a majority of the technical issues and they provided ongoing testing and recommendations as needed each month. We were also able to significantly improve page load speed with the tools and direction they provided.

Content Strategy: We had a set number of target service pages we were looking to build out on the website which Colorado SEO Pros provided recommendations for. For each page they gave us a content blueprint that outlined precisely how the content was to be optimized. We had our in-house writers create the content and then Colorado SEO Pros would review to make sure it was properly optimized.

Link-Building Strategy: Colorado SEO Pros performed a detailed initial analysis to create the link-building strategy, examining competitors and other industry websites to determine approach.

They performed a toxic link assessment to evaluate any negative links that could be hurting us as well. Ultimately they provide a multi-faceted strategy that included targeted link-building to pursue key rankings, as well as a PR link-building program that combined traditional PR and modern SEO to get high-value, competitor-proof back links.

We measured success in a number of different ways, looking at overall organic traffic, organic traffic to just key service pages, and organic traffic to the blog. We examined keyword rankings in the same way and also tracked organic traffic conversions across the site and on target pages.

Organic Traffic:

• Year over year organic traffic is up 73.3% (GA)
• Year over year non-branded organic traffic is up 48.27% (GA)
• Year over year non-branded organic traffic increased from 44% of total traffic to 66% of total traffic. (SEMR)
• Organic traffic to target service pages increased 362.55% over the most recent 6 month period, and new users increased by 472.81%. (GA) Keyword Rankings:
• Year over year 1 st page rankings increased 50%, from 143 keywords to 215 keywords. (SEMR)
• Target service page total rankings increased 285% from 55 to 219 keywords from December to June after optimization and launch.

(SEMR) ROI: We target projects over 1 million dollars, and we need to generate a large number of leads to close these highly valuable projects. During the length of the project, we received thousands of incoming leads and estimate that with our close ratio and average transaction value that we have received an estimated ROI of 5,342%.

We communicated via email, and had recurring meetings over Zoom in which the work performed was reviewed with us, as well as upcoming objectives and deliverables. They also created a custom data studio dashboard for us to measure results in a way that provided the insight we needed.

The content blueprints they provide are very detailed and include a lot of information that seems to make a big difference in results. They also have an impressive team with a variety of skill sets.

There were some miscommunications at the beginning of the project regarding approach and project scope, but Colorado SEO Pros made the necessary adjustments to provide services according to our needs and executed a successful SEO campaign.

Results have been incredible with both SEO and Paid Search. Page 1 US Rankings:

• In December 2017 we ranked on page 1 of Google for 38 keywords.
• By June of 2021 that number had increased by 731%, up to 316 page 1 rankings.
• We hold number 1 and top positions for countless high-value keywords that we had previously not been in the top ten pages for.
• Non-Branded Organic Traffic increased 2,120%, from 127 visits per month in March 2018 to 2,820 visits per month in March 2021.

They have adjusted strategies into long-term programs to take us from non-existent to being a search engine leader. They are able to respond to challenges and address issues as needed to ensure we continue to get value year in and year out from our engagement.

Over the years there have been some bumps in the road but Colorado SEO Pros stands behind their work and does whatever is necessary to address any issues that come up and take action to make things right and deliver results.

We held weekly meetings to discuss goals and objectives and a comprehensive strategy was put together to help us establish a brand and core visibility online, develop expert legal content to reach business owners looking for specific types of help, and gain the authority needed to outperform established websites.

Colorado SEO Pros created an SEO content strategy, link-building strategy, and technical SEO strategy to help us tackle the project from all angles. We created targeted site content based on recommendations, then they optimized and published all the changes. We went from being non-existent in search and social to having a developed brand with national visibility and an established footprint online. We have seen traffic, rankings, and inquiries increase dramatically. From October 2020 to July 2021 keyword rankings increased over 1300% and traffic increased over 1500%. When we began we had no rankings in search engines at all, even for our brand, so people looking for us couldn’t find us.

Our brand was actually very competitive in search and we now own the entire search results page and have an established presence at a national level. We have been able to reach business owners who needed financial assistance, businesses trying to navigate bankruptcy, businesses trying to manage insurance issues related to COVID, as well as a spectrum of other businesses we have been able to help. In a year, we received 287 applications and were able to assist more than 250 small businesses throughout the State of Colorado. Our SEO and online strategy played a critical role in this success.

We are continuing to see all time highs in organic positions. We saw our first keyword rankings in September of 2017 and now have a presence of around 260+ industry focused keywords ranking on the first page. Organic traffic overall rose 731.21% from 2016 to 2019 (the new site launched in late 2015). Colorado SEO Pros has also generated an average of over 40 leads per month for us in 2020, generating a consistent 623% ROI for the practice even during the challenging times of COVID.

Colorado SEO Pros has had a dramatic impact on our business. In 2018 we generated an average of 10 online leads per month. In 2020 we’ve soared up to an average of 107 online leads per month. Organic traffic rose from 326 US visits in Q1 of 2018, to 10,313 US visits in Q1 of 2020. Rankings also rose dramatically, and now we’re ranking #1 for key money terms like “network marketing vitamins.” We’re also on page 1 for broad, high-value terms like “Law of attraction money.”

Colorado SEO Pros has been very skilled at delivering leads and with following up to make sure that those leads are the type and quality I’m looking for. Early in the campaign we were bringing in a lot of leads but they weren’t converting as well as we expected. They provided ranking support for our website through technical SEO and content keyword targeting. The project started with a deep dive and analysis into all of the data that we had so that they could make recommendations about prioritizing places to start in terms of keywords and organizational changes.

They have a great combination of being very clear and organized but also flexible enough to incorporate all of the natural changes that come up in the course of doing business. They came up with a plan that they stick to while also being able to bring in other specific requirements or priorities without throwing off the original timeline.

We use Monday.com to keep track of our progress toward specific deliverables and milestones, as well as Google Drive for document sharing and some of their proprietary technologies.

It’s really all about results, and those speak for themselves. The fact that they are able to deliver so successfully and consistently is due to the fact that they are very knowledgeable, have a mix of technical and content talent, and they have great leadership.

I don’t have any specific things I think they could be doing differently.

We have a pretty great level of internal technical talent, and we have found that style of partnership to be incredibly effective in implementing the recommendations that they make for us. If you have a more junior team, you might have to rely on them to make some of the changes or take the lead on the priority setting a little more.

Our company is WOW!, and we are an Internet, TV, and phone provider servicing 19 different markets throughout the United States. My position is a coordinator on the Digital Innovation team, and I am primarily tasked with all things content strategy, content editing, as well as management of our SEO for our residential site, wowway.com.

We hired them initially to perform ongoing/monthly SEO consulting during a time of digital transformation within the company. No one had previously been focusing on how to enhance our organic presence and we knew we needed a strategic partner to help us improve our organic search results and make sure we were following SEO best practices.

We wanted to drive more qualified organic traffic to our site and improving our online presence. Our overall goal is to see more serviceable users arrive on our site from the markets we service, ultimately leading to an increase in online orders.

Describe the project in detail.

We meet on a weekly basis to review ongoing, completed, and new tasks. Our focus changes on a weekly basis depending on the SEO landscape and new business projects that come down the pipeline, but the team always provides knowledgeable, collaborative, helpful, and insightful information on every meeting. Some of the tasks they've done recently were creating content briefs for new pages, identifying technical fixes, and helping define an overall 2020 strategy.

What was the team composition?

We usually have weekly meetings with the lead head of technical SEO and a senior SEO analyst but we are also frequently in communication with the owner.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

During our time with SEO Pros, we continue to see an increase in our organic rankings and our conversion rate continues to improve. They approach every problem with clear, thoughtful recommendations that correlate to actual results for the business.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Overall, the team at SEO Pros is very responsive over email or through Monday (their project management system). If we ever need to schedule a meeting one-on-one with the owner, he's always very accomodating and considerate of our time. Having meetings on a weekly basis also ensures communication stays open and all of our questions are answered in a timely manner.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The technical knowledge that they bring to the table is seriously impressive. I had a basic understanding of SEO before working with them but they truly understand all of the ins and outs of the SEO landscape - better than anyone I've ever worked with before!

Are there any areas for improvement?

Maybe adding a project manager to the mix in order to have them be the point of contact for organizing a more cohesive overall SEO strategy.
