A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a boutique CIO advisory company. My clients typically don’t have a full-time CIO but need strategic insights.
What challenge were you trying to address with CrucialLogics?
While I’ve hired CrucialLogics a few times, we first engaged them to design a blueprint for infrastructure and security for a client on the cusp of growing. A near-zero on-premise infrastructure was critical to the project.
What was the scope of their involvement?
In one of the engagements, CrucialLogics designed a blueprint for IT infrastructure and security foundation. Their team then implemented the infrastructure blueprint, which was mostly in the cloud. They also built all of the necessary security components including network security. Mostly, their team worked in Microsoft, so Azure and Office365. A few months ago, we started with a managed services contract.
What is the team composition?
I’ve come to know five people on CrucialLogics’ team.
How did you come to work with CrucialLogics?
I worked with one of their partners. When he branched out, we stayed in touch. I reached out to CrucialLogics to complete an assessment for a small job. Their team did well, so I used them more and more for other clients of mine.
What is the status of this engagement?
I started working with CrucialLogics in 2016 and the relationship’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
For the managed services contract, I review metrics such as service-level agreement and the scope’s progress monthly. The engagement’s been successful, as evident in their repeated work.
How did CrucialLogics perform from a project management standpoint?
They did well. We also hired them as a program manager to oversee other projects implemented by other vendors.
What did you find most impressive about them?
As opposed to other vendors, CrucialLogics puts my clients first. Their team will do what’s right for the client, even if it costs them money and time. They deliver high-quality work.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There aren’t significant areas for improvement.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Spend time upfront to identify the requirements so that there’s no disagreement later in the engagement. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
CrucialLogics delivers satisfying services that facilitate ongoing collaboration. The team establishes accurate expectations and manages the engagement effectively, which led to an expansion in their responsibilities. They are a dependable partner that is committed to quality customer service.
