Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the principal and co-founder of a digital marketing and entertainment booking agency based in the Los Angeles area.

What challenge were you trying to address with Crouch & Company, LLC?

We were looking for a tax accountant.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Crouch & Company, LLC’s primary role was providing tax services. They did personal taxes for my business partner and me, in addition to our company taxes. They also served as an informal advisor as we were founding the company. Their team was knowledgable about the necessary laws and regulations around starting a business.

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact was Irv (CPA).

How did you come to work with Crouch & Company, LLC?

My business partner had worked with Irv previously and knew him personally since they’re from the same hometown.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $1,500-$2,000 per year.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership lasted from April 2011- January 2014.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Irv’s work was very impactful, especially when we were just starting out. We were doing all our own bookkeeping and he helped us with gathering the necessary forms for the end of the year. Irv knew what we could write off as a newer business, which saved us money.

The reason we decided to part ways had nothing to do with the quality of their services. It was merely because our offices were over an hour apart and we wanted to work with someone who was more conveniently located.

How did Crouch & Company, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Irv was knowledgeable and organized. He’s licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, so he was able to assist with a broad range of questions.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Irv is a good person and very candid with us. He was a big motivator in revenue growth. The company helped us prioritize our business needs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing they could’ve improved upon. They did a fantastic job.
