I’m the director of product marketing at Meritor.

What challenge were you trying to address with Creative Solutions Group?

We needed help with trade shows and event planning.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We do trade shows all over North America, and Creative Solutions provides everything we need from start to finish. They first help us plan the trade show and event designs. Afterward, they build all the structures, design graphics and showpieces, and install any technology we need. Additionally, they manage our inventory and warehouses.

What is the team composition?

We work with the owner and various teammates from their account management, graphic design, 3D space design, and technology departments.

How did you come to work with Creative Solutions Group?

I worked with them at a company I used to work for, and they did an outstanding job.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend $3.5 million per year.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in July 2016, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re satisfied with their services. This project is the largest marketing expense we have, and they really make sure that nothing goes wrong with our events. If they encounter any on- and off-site problems, they’re quick to solve them.

How did Creative Solutions Group perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done really well on project management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed that their owner somehow finds the time to be involved in the project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only complaint we have is unforeseen costs. Although there are times where it’s hard to plan for everything, I think it happens more often than I’d like.
