1. Concept, design update and user experience:
   • We (the digital marketing & drivers team) worked closely with Creatim to define the needs for this project. We not only needed technical updates, but also had to update the drivers' pages to reflect the design principles used on our site. Based on new functionalities, new elements were designed to support our needs. Redesign elements were:
     • Header and footer
     • Search page
     • Results page
     • Driver detail page
2. Development:
   • All the existing features of drivers' webpages remained roughly the same. The main update on the drivers' pages was a process for updating drivers. This is now triggered by an xml file provided by the drivers’ team. CMS now updates the search page, driver detail page and download form with new content. The new xml based content population enabled our drivers’ team to display new features like:
     • Driver brand consolidation on search
     • Old driver versions
     • Discontinued printers
   • Custom content for specific driver pages
3. Project management and collaboration:
   • A project manager has a pivotal role in project development, addressing issues, and removing bottlenecks as they happen. Leveraging an online project management tool, Creatim’s project manager worked closely with our team and other stakeholders, making sure we had hands-on control of project development.
4. CMS training and knowledge transfer, marketing:
   • At the end of the project, Creatim provided an online training model, which gave us end-to-end control over the CMS and daily operations. They also took care of necessary search engine optimization and implemented user tracking via Google Analytics.
5. Hosting:
   • The website is hosted on existing hosting architecture. We kept the same FTP access to upload driver exe files to the server.
6. Key deliverables:
   • Updated Search Page: The search page displays consolidated driver brands for quicker access.
   • Sorted by brands: The driver download list is now sorted according to the manufacturer’s brand name. The hierarchy is now more intuitive since it groups different driver packages under the same brand name. Users will be able to find the appropriate driver much faster.
   • Driver Detail Page: We have enriched driver detail pages with more information, including details about older versions and discontinued printers, offering a comprehensive driver history.
   • Download of previous versions: We added an option to download previous driver versions, to help users maintain driver backward compatibility.
   • Custom Content: We can now create custom content for specific driver pages to provide users with tailored information.
   • XML-Based Content Update: We've implemented an XML-based content system. It allows us to manage the content on the webpage more efficiently We reduced the amount of work inside our driver & digital team to maintain the web pages. The page has a fresh look to align with our brand design principles.

The scope of work was to develop the new website based on design and architecture done beforehand ba another vendor. Key deliverables included a new custom made CMS, based on Symfony framework, UX and frontend development, registration process, ecommerce solution, consumer test results interface, integrations with our subscription management system, payment process centre (Stripe), email marketing platform (MailerLite) and mobile app (membership authentication and log on).

They mostly delivered items on time or found satisfactory solutions when they couldn't*, so that the project timeline or deliverables were not compromised in any meaningful way. *The project was a difficult one on a few levels (integration with subscriber management sotfware, the consumer testing interface much unlike the one we had before, a very difficult migration etc.). They did a good job of it.

I'm General Services Manager in electricity retailer company E 3, d.o.o. I'm responsible for many different areas of business for Example IT, Marketing, HR etc.

For what projects/services did your company hire Creatim, and what were your goals?

Till 2021 we had old web page that was created 6 years ago and with a small e-commerce functionalities. Becouse we work in electricity market which is very boring, we needed something new, fresh and innovative. In 2020 we signed a contract with Creatim for developing of a new modern website and the establishment of an online store. The basis for a good web story is an interesting offer. Creatim also advised us on the design of a new and attractive offer. We are the first in Slovenia, if not in the world, to offer electricity in e-commerce through an online shopping cart. Today we work with them in the field of SEO, website optimization and implementation of data analytics as sales support.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched the web for rewarded developers. After that we shortlisted 3 of them. We made some kind of tender with key requirements, dead line of project and limited amount of investment. After interviewing them, we chose this vendor based on how them prepared for their presentation, how they get to know our business, our offers, benchmarking electricity market etc., how they presented the design of the website and e-commerce, based on their project, web knowledge and cost efficiency.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We had 3 workshops to discuss our goals and objectives and we have armed them with the necessary information about our offer. The second part of the project included the blueprint, delivered mockups and wireframes for our new web site nad e-commerce. Website layout proposals were presented to management for approval. After a few iterations, their team designed and developed the new web page with a wide range of e-commerce functionalities. The website with e-commerce functionality was developed on the Sylius platform.

Depending on the phase of the project. There were three team members at the kick off meeting. CEO, Sales Manager and Conceptual architect (at first stage also project manager). Three experts were present in phase blueprint preparation, mockup design and wireframe design. These were Conceptual architect, Project Manager and Designer. In the programming phase, a pair of teams were a pair of project manager and back end developer or a project manager and front end developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

A few months ago, we just launched our new website with e-commerce functionality, so there aren’t any significant increases in website viewing yet. However, user responses are positive. We also received 2nd place in the Slovenian competition for the best online store. This is a great success for us, as we have competed with companies that also allocate 10 times the budget for the same project. Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had 14-day meetings throughout the project. In the last phase of the project, we had meetings twice a week or, if necessary, we also heard each other on a daily basis during the start-up phase and clarified buggs. Communication tools we used were Fortask and Trello to coordinate the project, and they worked well with our team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their team delved into our business model and together, we came up with a great product. There are experts in all areas you just want to work with. Design of online store solutions, and front-end development. Even in the final phase of the project, they were patient and met our subsequent requirements.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had some communication issues in the beginning because of Covid-19 pandemic, but after we both aligned with new communication opportunities we had, we quickly adapted to our schedule.

We were building a new webpage for our bank and for some of our daughter companies. The old site was obsolete, and we were building a new one from scratch.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They led the whole project. We first had some workshops to discuss what we wanted, and they set up a plan to help us achieve our goals. They were in contact with our IT services, and we rewrote all the content and documents. Then, they built up the whole website, which is hosted outside the bank. We offer some web services through the site, and the security is very high.

I was in contact with a lead developer, and she maintained the team behind her.

We invited three or four agencies to meet with us. Two dropped out quickly because of our high-security standards. We chose Creatim based on everything they showed us in their proposal.

We didn't have a good website at all before we started working together, and we're currently establishing metrics and customer flow data with them. As of now, we don't have any numbers to share. Customer feedback is very good, and everyone is happy with the changes. We don't get any negative comments, and our site recently won an award.

Their project management was good. We had some issues at the beginning because we wanted everything very quickly. They explained that our timeline would require them to sacrifice too much, so we made some changes. As we ran the project, they fast-tracked some of our milestones and helped us meet our goals.

The design they proposed is excellent, and we have a good personal connection with them. They delivered on all our requirements.

We had some unrealistic expectations at the beginning, but they helped us make adjustments. If we were to do this again, we would have had more realistic timelines in mind.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Creatim Rzisnik Perc developed a new website for us. We have quite a few different services for our members and I think it was quite a challenge to figure out how to put it onto one website. We actually have different portals for different services.

Two years ago, we launched our website membership portal where users can opt to become members and renew their memberships online. It’s helpful to our customers because they can do all that from the comfort of their home or anywhere else without having to physically go to one of our centers, which saves them time. When signing up for a membership, customers have the option of answering a few simple questions online and based on those answers, we try to help them select which plan is best suited for them.

We’ve done an upgrade since we published the new website in 2015 and are now preparing the second update to keep up with changing trends. Creatim Rzisnik Perc has been very helpful in supporting us with these goals.

I’ve mostly worked with one person. During the upgrade, they came up with different UX proposals and the people responsible for that were present as well. I think it’s a good thing to have only one contact. They coordinate everything on their side which makes it easier for me.

A website is mandatory for a company and it’s something that needs to be upgraded no matter what the changes in digital communication are. Creatim Rzisnik Perc offers us IT support and we’re constantly attracting new audiences to our website. I think that with their help, we’re doing a good job in the field of growth. Their team also keeps track of Google Analytics for us. Every once in a while, we will look at the statistics and decide where we should improve to get an even better UX for our visitors.

I think that Creatim Rzisnik Perc has done a great job and we really appreciate how they follow the latest trends in digital marketing in order to adapt to customers and their needs.

We haven’t had any difficulties or challenges. They’re very responsive and we’re very satisfied with their services and relationship with us. I think they’re really trying to do their best and are very much aware of how important it is—for us and for them—that this kind of cooperation is a win-win situation for both sides.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our company organizes the best young driver contest, which begins with theoretical questions. This year, Creatim Rzisnik Perc developed a specific website for us that stems out as a portal from our main website. They customized the design to attract young people to it. The questionnaire wasn’t the easiest thing to do because it had to have questions from different fields and the answers needed to be transformed into metrics. Creatim Rzisnik Perc did quite a good job with this challenge and we managed to attract more contestants than in previous years.

I especially like that they don’t just wait until we come to them with an idea. They also propose suggestions regarding what we can do to improve when it comes to digital services.

No. We have quite a good partnership with them are satisfied with the services that they’ve provided so far.

It’s important for a client working with anyone to know what they want. Give enough details and brief Creatim Rzisnik Perc correctly on what you want from them as well as the project’s goals. Only then will it be possible for them to help clients you those goals. If you’re vague, it’s difficult for an outsider to understand what to do and how he/she can help you. It’s important to take enough time when planning something to thoroughly go through every task that you demand of them so that when you finish the project, both sides will be satisfied.

They’ve done their part of the job, but we haven’t done ours. The sales aren’t as expected. We’re working on that. We had some problems with logistics and sending goods to end-users on time.

Project management is okay. We communicate via phone and email. At least once a month, if not more often, we have in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

A month ago, we had a meeting during which they presented some new trends in online sales and what the next steps should be for us. We have support from their side to educate us on such trends.

My goal is to work more agilely and quickly. They wish to do this from their side also, but it’s a problem within our company.

They are one of the few companies in Slovenia that can work by the book. Yesterday, we had a quality control inspection within our company and theirs, and everything was just perfect. I’ve worked with many developers in Slovenia, and I don’t think anyone else can match them. They have a really good organization. Everything is going well. I’m a web manager for the organization, responsible for our website as well as other applications connected with the website, like Google Analytics, Google 360, the Net-Results marketing automation tool, our mailing system, and so on.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Creatim Rzisnik Perc designed and developed our web page and they’re currently maintaining and hosting it.

We were working with a public tender and needed to define all the necessary functionalities of the website beforehand in order for the developer to provide it. We did a lot of work ourselves, defining the purpose of the website and what functionalities it needed to have.

The website needed to support different languages, and to feature different touristic, business, and media pages. We have our own media library for promotion purposes with more than 6,000 photos. The website lists all the business meetings we organize abroad, like fairs and workshops for Slovenian tourist companies. We can draft our own application forms for those companies, as well as manage GDPR information.

The web page is connected with marketing automation tools and our CRM along with a GDPR portal and Google Analytics. We’re using G Suite 360, and all those different applications are connected in order to share data in the most proper way.

Creatim Rzisnik Perc used its own CMS solution to develop the site.

What is the team composition?

One of my colleagues handled the start of the project. We worked with one project lead from Creatim Rzisnik Perc, and we used their special app for creating new tasks and different maintenance and upgrade purposes.

I was able to see the whole process. After creating a new task, I could see when it was accepted and assigned to a programmer. I could see the whole communication between them, and I could add my own comments. Everything was organized, and the system worked well for us.

We published an open tender for the establishment of our new website. Creatim Rzisnik Perc is not the biggest, but they’re one of the most well-known companies in Slovenia for web development and maintenance. When we decided to create a new version of ours, we invited them to apply to the public tender.
