Introduce your business and what you do there.

Wearable Devices is a startup working in the field of wearable devices for the last four years. We’ve developed a human-machine interface that works by detecting the signals coming from the brain and running through the nervous system to the wrist. A wristband detects very low signals and extrapolates the user’s intentions.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Crafta?

Initially, we only had an idea but we no product. We’ve used Crafta’s capabilities to help us deliver our message to customers and investors.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had an initial meeting and tried to understand what the message we were trying to deliver was, and who our customers were. They helped us with our presentation—including the design, the slides, and the creatives within it—and, later on, they built our website. When we had the product, they designed a campaign for it and helped us reach our customers.

They’ve designed our logos and the message around our brand for the last three and a half years. Our brand is called “Mudra”, which means “gesture” in Hindi.

They've helped us all the way from business cards to logos and material for conventions, each of which came with different messaging for specific visitors. They helped us find the right graphics and creative, they did all the designs, and helped us with the printing process.

What is the team composition?

We work with a manager from their team, as well as a specialist who helps us with strategic marketing work. Their owner reviews and approves all the information before we bring it to our customers.

How did you come to work with Crafta?

They were recommended to us by a good friend. We started working together and found that they could deliver everything we needed in terms of design. They do a good job, so we continued to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

The cost depends on the period. In the beginning, it could be several thousands of dollars, and, right now, we’ve started a beautiful campaign for which they did all the messaging and design. The whole cost for that was $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them around three years ago. They’ve been supporting us for all our needs since then.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

When we present our company, one of the comments we get is “You have beautiful slides; you have beautiful messaging; you deliver the messaging in a beautiful way”. Crafta did all the design and the creative around it. The campaign they ran is beautiful; we love it, and our customers love it.

In the beginning, we were working with investors, and now we have companies that we work with. They love to see designs that appeal to their needs, so Crafta is helping us deliver our message. That's the best criterion for us.

They give us support for branding, creative, and messaging strategies, promotions, and designing our digital products. They find unique and expressive messaging for our brands, and they’ve done a great job with the multidisciplinary tasks we’ve given them.

How did Crafta perform from a project management standpoint?

They can prioritize tasks efficiently. We had a first meeting where we defined the project, they gave me a quotation, and we started working the same week. They're great in terms of timely responses, and they usually deliver before the deadline. It's our feedback on the design that's been the thing holding up the project.

They’re a great supplier to work with and are great friends. It’s important to have fun with the people we’re working with. When I find a great supplier, I continue working with them, and the evidence for this is that we’ve been working for almost three and a half years with Crafta.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We love to work with them; it’s fun and we enjoy it. Their time-response is great, and they always deliver on time and in high quality. With Crafta, if something isn’t good enough or doesn’t align with the message we’re trying to deliver, they’ll propose making another revision.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They need to become bigger and provide additional services. They’re currently a boutique company, but I believe they’ll do wonderful things for other companies when they’re bigger.
