Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and co-founder of an appliances company that is focused on range hoods. We’re currently selling online and it's our main channel of distribution.
What challenge were you trying to address with Coursenvy?
We were having trouble with our ads, and we weren’t sure if we were doing the right thing and our performance wasn’t really good. That’s why we went to Coursenvy and asked for their help.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Coursenvy helped us with Google and Facebook, specifically on strategizing, copywriting, and content marketing. They also assisted us with positioning our company in those platforms and helped us tracked our metrics too.
What is the team composition?
We had two account managers.
How did you come to work with Coursenvy?
I subscribed to Justin’s (CEO & Founder) course to learn about how to place ads, and that’s how I came about their company.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked from January 2020–February 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They did a good job with conversions, and that helped us increase our revenue, from $20,000–$30,000 to $100,000–$130,000. That also had a lot to do with what we did such as creating our content and ensuring our site was better.
However, we were aware that no matter how much good content we developed, if we didn’t have the traffic coming in, we wouldn’t have made it. Overall, Coursenvy did a great job.
How did Coursenvy perform from a project management standpoint?
We had e-mails coming in every other day and then we also had bi-weekly meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were an excellent company and we had a great partnership. Just like any other consultant, you just need to spend more time with them and make sure that they understand your product and industry to be successful.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, Coursenvy did well. Perhaps, they could increase their creatives and that was one of the reasons why we switched to another agency. Our new agency has the capability to create videos and content for us, and that’s really important.
