Oxfam Website Rebuild and Design
We are proud to have recently launched the new Oxfam Supply Centre website.
The Oxfam team have been a pleasure to work with. The overall project brief was to build a new site more in keeping with the style and characteristics of the oxfam.org.uk site to help maintain continuity and to also improve usability.

GR8 Tool Hire Digital Marketing Approach
When GR8 Tool Hire came to us, they were looking for a way to increase their online conversions and grow their brand awareness. We worked with them to build a new website that was both user-friendly and mobile-friendly, as well as designed to convert browsers into customers. We also created a brand awareness campaign for Instagram and Facebook, which helped to significantly increase the company's reach online. Finally, we set up and maintain a successful Google PPC campaign that continues to bring in new leads and customers for GR8 Tool Hire.
The results of our work have been impressive. The new website has helped GR8 Tool Hire see a significant increase in online conversions, while the brand awareness campaign has helped them reach a larger audience than ever before. The Google PPC campaign has been similarly successful, consistently bringing in new leads and customers for the company. Please describe your company and your position there.
Oxfam is an international aid agency working in over fifty countries. I work in the logistics warehouse in the UK, from where we purchase and supply equipment for use in our humanitarian programmes worldwide.
For what projects/services did your company hire Corsto Web Design Ltd?
We asked Corsto Web Design to work with us to design and maintain our online equipment catalogue.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We have worked with Corsto Web Design for more than six years. They customised our previous website and also built the Oxfam Supply Centre App.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The Equipment Catalogue gives potential customers information about the Supply Centre service, how to engage with us, and detailed product descriptions about the equipment that we can offer - to all humanitarian agencies. The design stage included identifying the site design, tailored to the specialist customer experience, the detailed product pages, and a workflow with forms - to enable potential customer to register with the Supply Centre and to submit requests for quotations.
The design and graphics had to match that of the organisation's main website. It also had to be designed for maximum download speed, as are customers are generally working in areas of low connectivity. There was clear process of design, check and test, feedback, and improve.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
In total we worked with two members of the Corsto team. The Managing Director and the lead Web Developer.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
For this website we worked on improving the clarity of the information about 'how a customer can engage with the Supply Centre'. This information got higher visibility and the interactive forms for a) customer registration, b) quote request submission were make clearer and more user friendly.
We have seen a rise in new customers wanting to register through the site, and we have seen in improvement in the quality of infomation from customers when they submit quote requests. Both of these factors have made life easier for our Supply Team.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
With only two people involved from each party the workflow/communication was able to work very well. Decisions could be taken quickly.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Corsto understood the goal of the project and the work of the Suppy Centre, from working on previous projects. This enabled them to suggest and try things that would be suitable and to steer us towards potential improvements.
The Oxfam team working on this were not IT people. We are logisticians and we understand the products and the customers. They always communicate in a language that would help us clearly understand the implications of technical suggestions.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I don't think so. Had the Oxfam team had an IT person in the project team the communication would have been different and perhaps technically it would have been clearer. However, I don't believe that it would have made the project outcome better or quicker.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I work for a company that hires Plant, Tools and Equipment to the public and construction industry. I am the General Manager for the Company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Corsto Web Design Ltd, and what were your goals?
We hired Corsto Web Design to build us a new and improved website. Which they strongly delivered on and in a timely manner! Our old website was out dated and not built with SEO or Digital Marketing in mind and wasn't interactive at all. It was just very bland. However Corsto stayed in contact the entire time they built our website with constant communication and updates with the build.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We had previously hired to Phil on one of his other ventures and we shared the same book keeper. I had a meeting with him and he showed me some of their previous work and I liked what I saw.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had a very good introductory meeting! Phil explained the entire process of the design. He set me up on a storyboard website so that we could both make notes and i could see constant live updates on line.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked closely with Phil and James through the process. James did the all of the design work on the website and Phil did the SEO and digital marketing set up.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Since launching our site we have had a great ROI through our digital marketing.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We had a Whatsapp group in place and a Storyboard set up so that we could communicate with ease at all times. We set an initial target timeline of 4 months which was met. Phil and James were very organised throughout, didn't mess us around at all.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They work together as a team, and their design ideas are brilliant. They make everything personalized to your company and will research similar companies' methods to see what works best for your area of business.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Not one!
Corsto Web Design Ltd improved the clarity of the information on how users could engage with the client's supply center. They also made customer registration and quote request forms clearer and more user-friendly. As a result, the client saw an increase in new customers wanting to register.
