I’m the owner of a dog supplement company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ultra Growth Marketing?

I was looking to market all my products to more people and take advantage of all my platforms.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped me build a beautiful e-commerce website and have been helping me run Facebook ads. They helped me transition my website from WordPress to Shopify and rebuilt the entire thing. The one I made myself wasn’t that great, so they helped me give it a more modern look. I’m glad I listened to their advice because the conversion rate of the new website is doing better than before.

In regards to the Facebook ads, I actually collaborate with them because I have another designer who creates the ads. The team then curates and manages the campaigns, and do all the testing involved. At the moment, we're only doing Facebook and Instagram ads. However, we’re looking to expand to Google.

So far, I’m only working with one person.

How did you come to work with Ultra Growth Marketing?

I actually found them on Google through their SEO — not an ad. I ended up reaching out to them because I was looking for new ways to get my product out. It was a pretty tough year last year because my supply was disrupted by COVID-19. I connected with them in early December, and I really liked what they were pitching. They knew their stuff and they seemed like they had a lot of experience in the industry.

I left a lot in their hands and took a leap of faith. It ended up becoming a very good decision, because I’ve hired a lot of other marketers that blow a lot of smoke, and at the end of the day, I don’t know if they’re worth what we were paying them.

How much have you invested with them?

Approximately, I’ve spent about $5,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

I officially hired them in December 2020, and it’s been ongoing ever since.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I can tell you that they’ve pretty much doubled my conversion and clickthrough rate.

How did Ultra Growth Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They were pulling in some long hours but they finished the site in less than a week since they started working on it. The biggest hold-up was getting my supplier to be integrated with it, so it probably would’ve been done sooner if it wasn’t for that.

They also report to me quite a bit. We talk on an instant messaging app and through text and they would always answer my questions.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The biggest thing for me is the results. I haven’t had anybody who has been able to double my conversion rates as they have. And it was all their idea too. They looked at my old website and said that we should get on Shopify and make additional changes to make it more modern. They were right because it worked.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wouldn’t change anything because so far, it’s been great.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Just be open to their suggestions and don’t be stubborn. We doubled our conversion rates because I listened when they told me that we needed to completely redo my website. Let them do their thing and don’t try to micromanage. I know a lot of business owners who’d hire someone to do the work, but then they want to tell them how to do it — that kind of defeats the purpose.

I’m one of the owners and I’m the principal of Steria Energy Solutions. We’re a group of consultants in the energy sector. The bulk of our work is in Western Canada and North America, but we’ve done work around the world, as well.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ultra Growth Marketing?

We were trying to adapt to the new environment — we felt like our website wasn’t attracting customers and was a bit clunky. We wanted to improve the site and rework the content a bit. We wanted the site to load faster, be mobile-friendly, and be optimized to increase search traffic.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ultra Growth Marketing updated our WordPress website and changed the look and feel of it. Content-wise, they worked with us to structure and phrase it all best. They incorporated new features to make the site mobile-friendly since most people work off their phones these days.

At the moment, they’re working with us on SEO so the site pops up easily. They’re doing basic efforts but we have plans to move into Google Ads in the future when the budget allows. He helps explain why we should add a blog to our site and supports our social media efforts.

We have one main point of contact. 

How did you come to work with Ultra Growth Marketing?

We found them through word of mouth. We’d heard about their work. We chose them because of what they were willing to deliver for the price compared to other companies we looked into. Their offer was substantially better and gave us a better value deal. 

How much have you invested with them?

We set a limit of $5,000 and we’re just slightly under that amount. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in December 2020. Our site was up and running in February 2021; we caused a bit of delay on our end around the content. They’re still providing SEO services.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The speed of our site has substantially increased compared to our old site. Myself and my partners have all been very happy. Compared to prior experiences, working with Ultra Growth Marketing has been awesome. 

How did Ultra Growth Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

We mainly communicate through phone calls, emails, and Microsoft teams. He provides super great service; if I send him an email I will often get a response within minutes. I’ve sent a query on the weekend, expecting to hear back on Monday, but he’s given a response sooner. From the start, our point of contact gave us a turnaround time of 3–5 days and he easily met that. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

He’s been very patient working with our older team. I’m the youngest employee at 56 years old, but one of my partners is 75, so we don’t necessarily know how to make social media and SEO work but they help us. The level of assistance and information they provide stand out. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Give them a call with some idea of what you’re looking for and go from there. They are good listeners and will explain what they can do, give you options, and tell you timeframes.

Matthew from e-commerce marketing experts was amazing. We knew him from a previous project before he got into FB marketing and we’re pleased with his results from that project.

Originally we were looking for ad creation and management only which eventually opened up into website building, creating copy for listings and additional website improvement tasks.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

First month in our sales went from 10k/month to 30k/month while maintaining 5x ROAS. We were able to maintain and improve on the sales and ROAS through approx. 1 more year. They helped bring our sales to a level that I never imagined possible.

Our website was outdated, so eCommerce Marketing Experts recreated our website into a fantastic place on the web. We needed the SEO and the web presence that ECE created.

We searched online for a local Canadian company to deal with and to support.

Meetings were through Zoom phone, email, and text; essentially whichever platform fit our busy schedules. eCommerce Marketing Experts is very flexible and adaptable.

I worked with Matthew, one of the owners, and our project manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The websites are completely finished and we can't wait to see the type of conversion we'll get from ECE's work.

We touched base every 3 days over a 10 week period, with touchpoints as needed throughout the process. Very fast response time.
