We started with the conceptualization stage, wherein I discussed my ideas and plans for the site. SGContent agency then gave me a questionnaire that contained the SEO content strategies they collated based on my own concepts.

Their team would then implement the strategies, and we continued to submit ideas back and forth. Additionally, they made improved my website in terms of design and on-site SEO.

They're now scheduled to write six press-release articles for my business and distribute them on Canadian blogs.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

All the content produced by SGContent agency is intended to make my site rank higher for specific SEO keywords. As of writing, they've written everything that's on my blog, and all of it appears professional and engaging. I’m now getting more leads, even though I haven’t started marketing my platform yet.

Everything was well-organized and straightforward in terms of project management.

SGContent agency is really organized — they have a simple system. They communicate well with me and give me enough confidence in my business.

Hire SGContent agency — they’re a professional and serious team. I’m not an expert in content and marketing, and SGContent agency gives me the information and solutions I need in order to get more leads and sales. They tell me what to do and why it would be done that way.

We were referred to them by a contact. We were told they were really skilled when it comes to copywriting, translation, and content creation. We really wanted someone with specialized knowledge, and we found the team knew a lot about travel marketing as well as our market. What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We measure their success based on turnaround times, which they’re very strong with. We have a small margin of error with the content, and that’s something we never have to worry about with SGContent. Overall, their accuracy, speed, and price are all very impressive. They’ve helped add a lot of value to our proposition. The standard and quality of their work are really high.

We send out monthly emails to our clients and mailing list, but they were fairly bland and weren't generating much engagement. We hired SGContent to liven up our emails and provide interesting content that would inspire the recipients

We wanted to increase engagement with our list - so that we remained at the forefront of their minds should they ever need assistance on the sort of problems we can solve.

We spoke to a few agencies, but it was the easy engagement with SGContent which won through for us - conversations were very easy and they understood our proposition. It felt like their tone would match ours and so would be a good fit for the brand.

They supported our monthly emails, turning them more into a newsletter type format, as well as researching interesting energy-related articles to include, they took our notes from the month gone and month to come and re-wrote them into a more engaging style.

The emails included more calls to action and generated more responses from potential clients. Despite the impact that coronavirus has had we're well on track for 2020 to be our best year yet.

We've seen over 100% growth in 2020, and judging by the response rates our emails have generated, some of that will be down to our new newsletters putting us front and centre in people's minds.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Great - we sent our monthly summary and outlook to Sarah and they returned a first draft of the newsletter back. Any edits were only ever minor revisions.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

It is impressive how they quickly understood our proposition and tone of voice so that, aside from the massive improvement in content, it would not have appeared like we'd brought in an agency to take over the writing of the emails.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Energy was a new industry for SGContent, so there is more to learn there for them, but that will come with time or more clients.

Their team rewrote my bio for presentations, telling my story more clearly. They’ll also be rewriting my bio for the company website.

We have Zoom calls for consultations on new features or projects. However, we mainly communicate via email and phone. They have an excellent work ethic. Their team is flexible and steps outside normal practices if requested.

The content SGContent produced for us increased our blog’s monthly page views. We started using their services two years ago when we received about 50–100 views a day. We now have about 600–1,000 views a day, which is about a tenfold increase.

We communicate via email, and SGContent’s responsive. Communication’s spot on, and they always deliver on time. We have no complaints at all.

I’m impressed by the thoroughness of their research. They ensure to include sources and links in their content. If it’s a difficult topic that’s unfamiliar to them, their team takes the time to get it right.

SGContent recently brought an SEO specialist on board, which upped their game. An improvement would be to increase the specialist’s involvement in the articles.

Come to the table with a plan. Think about the topics that you want SGContent to cover. Having a back and forth about content every week may become strenuous.
