BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Digital Content Lead for a health start up that provides content experiences, products and services to consumers.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Content Copywriting?
A core proposition of our platform is expert-backed and credible health and wellbeing content and we hired Content Copywriting to create a high volume of content for launch and regular monthly content post-launch.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We chose Content Copywriting for their high standard response to brief, and proposed project plan. They are also really lovely and easy to work with.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The first step was to refine our initial strategy, do thorough topic and keyword research and plan the production of content over a 3 month period. Subject matter experts were identified and interviewed and then a detailed workflow including creation, sub-editing, approval and publication were implemented. All agreed timelines are met and content is delivered on time.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Up to four.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Early results are very promising with website visitors that read content spending more time on-site, viewing more pages and have a higher conversion rate to purchase products than those that don't.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We meet regularly for project WIPS, check-in over messages and work through the project using a project management tool. The team made themselves available and were quick to respond whenever needed.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their content was of high quality. The team was collaborative and really great to work with.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
One of the great things about CC is their flexibility and willingness to take on feedback and work within our approval guidleines which we were developing along the way.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Head of Marketing for supply chain finance and technology business, Octet.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Content Copywriting?
We've been working with a Content Copywriting for about 2 years now, and originally appointed them to copywrite for our new website, which evolved into a general content creation retainer. This was originally geared towards the creation of content that both populated our owned channels (blog, socials, CRM etc), but was also guided by strong SEO principles. More recently, we have started to consider how we can improve our domain authority (and therefore organic ranking for key search terms) via achieving quality backlinks.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We were originally introduced to the agency by a larger (more general) agency as part of a wider project, which went well (see above). When we made the decision to push hard into the content space we consider a couple of other agencies, but it was our prior positive experience with CC and the fact that they understood our products etc that primarily got them across the line.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Create/research SEO keyword research strategy based on discussions with business, incl key priorities etc
Create content calendar
Execute 3-4 pieces of content per month (incl internal review processes) based on 1-2.
Reporting / success measurement against agreed objectives
SEO/link outreach strategy, execution and reporting.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
3-4, ranging from copywriter through to senior management.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
76% increase in organic users over campaign period.
Up to 300% increase in certain website 'goal' completions.
2 point domain rating increase.
From a general internal feedback (incl senior management) and client/partner, we are consistently receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback in relation to the quality of our content.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Really effective communication achieved via a combination of email, phone, Loomly, video, Google docs (for content reviews) etc. Deadlines were almost met, and when they weren't a viable explanation and work around were provided.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their tenacity and ability to dig deep in understanding often complex financial and technology concepts across a range of scenarios and industries. Also, CC have been extremely open to listening to my constructive criticism / feedback, which they saw as an opportunity to improve both their offering and our relationship.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We've identified some minor reporting and account management improvements for our upcoming retainer/project. Please refer above for how CC have positively responded to the feedback provided.
