We’re a nonprofit organization that provides emergency shelter, permanent housing, and case management services to people experiencing homelessness.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenges were you trying to address with Communications Services and Support?

We hired them to help us put together our annual report and create invitations for our fundraising gala.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve worked with me to brainstorm and proofread our direct mail materials. Primarily, they do all of the printing for us. 

What is the team composition?

I work with 2–3 people, including Frank and Steve. 

How did you come to work with Communications Services and Support?

I used them at my previous organization. My sister originally recommended them to me since she’d worked with them numerous times. 

How much have you invested in them?

We spent around $10,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2018. We continue to work with them on direct mail projects as they come up.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’re very responsive, and they take a lot of pride in providing great work that engages our target audiences. 

How did Communications Services and Support perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very good at project management. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They treat their clients like family. The team is so friendly and willing to make things work. They’re very accommodating and attentive. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I think they’re great. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers? 

They’re so easy to work with and ask good questions. Even if your ideas aren’t fully fleshed out, they’ll help you figure everything out.
