What challenge were you trying to address with Communication Systems, Inc?

We’d recently moved into a new office and needed help identifying which IT equipment to install.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Communication Systems, Inc is our AV and IT provider. They’ve identified necessary equipment for our new office and moved existing equipment into our new space. Now, Communication Systems, Inc advises us on IT and AV equipment acquisitions, including security camera purchases. Their team makes informed recommendations based on our needs, budget, and quality standards. Once we accept a recommendation, Communication Systems, Inc comes on-site to install the new equipment. 

What is the team composition?

We’ve mostly worked with two teammates from Communication Systems, Inc, including Keith (Owner) and Evan (Systems Engineer), who serves as our main contact point.  

How did you come to work with Communication Systems, Inc?

We were referred to Communication Systems, Inc by our commercial broker project manager. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested $10,000–$25,000 with Communication Systems, Inc. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement with Communication Systems, Inc began in October 2021, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were on an extremely tight schedule during our office move, and our IT needs were paramount because we only had two days to move into our new office. Communication Systems, Inc’s team was able to meet our deadline and get our wifi set up so we could come in without any service interruptions. 

How did Communication Systems, Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

Communication Systems, Inc has excellent project management and keeps our projects on track. They’re very flexible and transparent about project timelines; they’ll let us know if a timeline is unrealistic for the scope of work. Communication Systems, Inc. prefers in-person communication, so we adjusted to their preferences. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

My colleagues and I have enjoyed working with Evan because he’s been informative and easy to work with — Communication Systems, Inc has a great team. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Communication Systems, Inc could improve their communication — we had some miscommunications in our email correspondence. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d first remind customers to be conscious that different businesses have different communication styles, so I’d advise them to prioritize utilizing in-person meetings or phone calls to communicate with Communication Systems, Inc instead of email.
