RESULTS & FEEDBACK

The project delivered a functional MVP with user authentication, two active modules, user progress tracking, admin content management, a responsive interface, automated email integration, and individual user reports.

They met every agreed deadline and handled my questions, feedback, and requests for changes graciously. I appreciated being able to ask questions and discuss revisions openly throughout the project. Ahmad and his team were an absolute delight to collaborate with.

The work quality was really good and reliable. Codexia Technologies committed that the App would be able to cater to high traffic and wouldn't show downtime during peak traffic hours. Their claim proved right; as we started getting traffic on the App, it worked the same way as it was working for a smaller audience. As far as measurable outcomes are concerned, we got great numbers of App Downloads and generated a good amount of Ad revenue.

The project was delayed and had multiple iterations due to misunderstandings. But the app was completed successfully in the end.

They didn't strictly adhere to the proposed timeline and when asked if they could complete in time (supposedly by end Nov 2023), I was told to give "a buffer of +-10 days." The app was only completed in February 2024. Although communication was lacking – I wasn't told about the change from using Ionic (what I wanted) to Flutter until I saw the source files near app completion. They tried their best to fix the issues I found during the app's development.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Codexia Technologies could have done differently?
Work on communicating and don't assume. Many of our iterations could have been avoided if they checked/confirmed with me whether they understood correctly. Be more sensitive towards branding, design and UX. Developing an app (or anything digital) is not only about the code but also how it is presented.
Many of the app development issues are due to design: text too small or overlapping, wrong colour/font used, caps and no caps, lack of consistency, etc. Follow the design mockup unless there are coding constraints – check with the client on how to fix and propose a solution instead of doing what you please, which may not be what the client wants.
