TGI smart - Online Platform for Data Analysis and Visualization
In October 2018, our company together with partner Kantar Poland launched a joint subscription product: TGI smart.
It is a state-of-the-art research and analytical application based on modern technologies of visualization and data analysis. TGI smart enables specialists or companies planning marketing activities to quickly and clearly analyze research data from selected product categories and brands. The product is successfully used by commercial customers.
The data used in the application is collected by Kantar as part of the largest consumer survey in Poland according to the Target Group Index (TGI) methodology. TGI is an international research standard in over 60 countries around the world. Over 250 product categories and 4,600 brands are available on the platform.
Together with Kantar Poland, we developed the product concept, branding and business model.

Pilot Programme of Energy Management System for Selected EDF Poland’s Clients
In cooperation with EDF Poland we conducted a six-months pilot programme with selected top clients.
We provided a rich and complex web platform equipped with features that allow track and analyze energy consumption in companies. Furthermore, every platform user had been updated with periodic report about company’s energy performance.
We were responsible for:
- Preparing the project's scope
- Choosing target consumers and benchmark group
- Developing an analytical web platform
- Implementing analytic algorithms
- Integrating with a database of measurements
- Providing a full project management and consumer service
Key features of online analytical platform:
- review of energy use at daily, weekly, monthly and annual levels of granularity, longitudinal comparison of consumption and comparison between various power delivery points, on one or many graphs
- adding generated graphs to individual energy reports saved as PDF files or distributed directly to a specified e-mail address
- automatic generation of interpretations for selected graphs
- energy consumption audit and identification of non-standard profiles or poor efficiency
- creation of rankings of the most efficient power delivery points for a given period
- application access management – individual accounts for every employee
- creation of mailing lists for distribution of monthly reports to an unlimited number of employees
- access to datasets and data interpretations with a feature to generate custom energy reports

The report contain readable graphs that are easy to interpret displaying energy use across the entire company, as well as for individual power delivery points, along with comparison graphs.

Customer Engaging Tools Based On Smart Grid For Energa Operator
We developed a complex research project for Energa Operator - top energy sector’s company in Poland. Our research methodology was based on usage of behavioral methods in order to estimate and help managing energy consumption executing demand-side response using measurement data from AMI system. The research topic was households’ feedback on personalized energy reliability and economic performance data.
Our company was responsible for:

We embraced a deal with Codeshine software house to make a complete web app with full technical support in terms of deployment and integration. Use of modern web technologies combined with robust and popular frameworks was subjected. Futhermore the solution required an integration with payment gateway and networking services (e.g. Radius).
What were your goals for this project?
Provided web application allows users to buy an Internet access in a Wi-Fi network, e.g. a guest in a hotel can purchase time limited and bundled Internet access. A payment is possible due to integration with Polish online payments services.
After a successful payment, user gains Internet access on Mikrotik/Radius level. With an user app there is also a orders/payments management system provided, which also allows to adjust bundles configurations.

Edata Polska sp. z o.o. has been operating on the Polish market since 2009 (previously as Telestar and Elemis, present in Poland since 1997), selling and servicing cash registers and fiscal printers. For many years, it has been one of the few importers of fiscal devices on the Polish market. In 2019, as one of the first companies in Poland, it obtained official approval for sales of online cash registers.
For what projects/services did your company hire Codeshine?
We commissioned Codeshine to build an advanced online platform "Dealer Area, which is used by our clients to manage fiscal devices, SIM subscriptions for 3 GSM operators and service technicians. Based on the previous solution and having collected feedback from customers, we decided to rebuild the key software, outperforming our competition. The solution is an important tool for efficient and flexible servicing of equipment and sales of cash registers. We wanted to cooperate with a committed team that would support new trends and lead the project from concept to production, as well as user migration to the new solution.
What were your goals for this project?
The main goals of the new solution: - enabling the generation of codes on the online platform for cash registers communicated by API - painless user migration for the current solution to the new one - adding customer benefits in the form of new functionalities to make them willing to use the new system - a new communication channel for our sales department with customers

We have been cooperating with the CEO of Codeshine since 2009. The CEO and his team have delivered several different IT projects for us (websites, e-commerce, dedicated software). Preparing the implementation of such a large project we decided to entrust the task to Codeshine, due to its appropriate experience and competence. Our employees have developed very good communications with the Codeshine team.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
The dedicated platform supports almost 400 dealership companies with over 800 active users. For a dealership, it serves as a cash register and service management center. It enables the generatation of authorization codes for various devices, activation of telecommunications operators' SIM cards and settlement of invoices. In addition, our company uses this solution for communication with clients, marketing and debt collection. The software has been integrated with the APIs of external services / systems such as: Slack - notifications, Sentry - error tracking, Postmark - email transaction, Dachser and other internal systems. In addition, the solution connects to the internal service that transfers data on cash registers in real time, so that the data in the system is always up to date. To ensure the mobility of the solution, the platform has been prepared in accordance with the RWD rules, allowing it to function on any web browser.
What was the team composition?
The company's CEO was directly involved in the software development process. Our company dedicated 3 people to determine the gaps and expectations regarding the new software. The programming team consisted of a frontend developer and a backend developer.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The noticeable effects of implementing the solution are: - Increase in loyalty of existing customers and sales - Standing out from the competition with an innovative solution - Appreciation of the benefits of the new functionalities by our company and our clients
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
The Codeshine team recommended setting up a dedicated account on the Slack platform for communication during the project. This means of communication perfectly suited our needs. We were able to consult functionalities with technical specialists on an ongoing basis. Weekly meetings in the office gave us a sense of a well-managed project. The key aspect for us was to deliver the agreed functionalities on time, which was conditioned by state regulations regarding changes in fiscal devices.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We were most impressed by: - A joined brainstorming session regarding optimal software functionality. - Direct communication with the team and quick response to our needs. - They prosed the use of innovative open source technologies, allowing for significant savings.

The users could choose a product, payment method and a delivery point. Additionally the store was meant to be working on mobile devices and to be optimized for search engines.

Our goal for this project was to have an additional sales channel for the newest fiscal devices' models. We wanted to make it easy and fast for our customers to get them thanks to the network of dealers.

Beside a basic functionality of online store, the project consisted of development of an interactive dealers map that customers can choose their order's pickup point on.

The team consisted of a Front-end Developer, Back-end Developer and a Project Manager.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Thanks to this project we have gotten a new, really important nowadays, sales channel of the fiscal devices that we distribute over the country. Additionally the project has proven to benefit the dealers as well, whose services are often used by our customers when they pick up their orders.

The project was managed correctly. The progress of work was regularly presented and discussed thanks to which we could actively participate in the creation of the solution.

The approach of Codeshine's team, their effectiveness and understanding of our needs is what impressed us the most.
