We needed someone to develop our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Codenest.co designed and developed a WordPress website. I provided them with all of the content and pictures for the site, and I specified how I wanted the web pages to be broken down. However, they essentially handled the rest of the design. They integrated WooCommerce and Paypal.

It’s a pretty basic subscription-based site that hosts my videos through Vimeo. Codenest.co did all of the coding to make the site work on my side. The site is under warranty, and I can contact them whenever I need something.

I found them on Clutch. We started with a meeting and discussed what I was trying to achieve and what they could offer. Right off the bat, Bart seemed to understand where I was coming from, and his approach toward everything was good. He had good ideas. We discussed the price, the contract, and the ability to make changes to the contract. Once that was done, we started the project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from November 2020–February 2021. I sent the final payment to them a week ago.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The site’s design is beautiful. There’s nothing too fancy about the site, but the UI is really good. Codenest.co brought what I wanted to life in terms of the colors and the layout. The graphics, the finishing touches on the buttons, and the way they laid out the pages are really well done. It was a good experience overall.

How did Codenest.co perform from a project management standpoint?

Communication was great — we emailed back and forth. I was always able to reach them through email, unless it was the weekend.

We met once a week. We used Google Meets, Google Docs, and Figma. Bart also gave me access to the WordPress admin so that I could start to learn it as we were going along. Also, the technology they used to share the tasks they were working on with me was great. I could see their work as they were doing it. I had access to a lot of the things that they were doing.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I saw some of their work before I hired them, and it looked modern and clean, which is exactly what I was looking for. I was extremely satisfied with my decision to hire them. They’re definitely a company I’d recommend to other people who want a WordPress website on a budget.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The meetings were always on time. However, at some points, I felt we needed to have more online meetings. Sometimes, it’s easier to explain something over the phone as opposed to writing it in an email.

The time difference made instant communication challenging, but I don’t have much to complain about. Codenest.co was very pleasant, professional, and timely with everything. They were really good.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Always try to be involved in your project. The more information you can provide to them and the more proactive and enthusiastic you are about your own project, the more they will work with you and help you get through it quickly. If you just give them everything and leave it to them to figure out, you’re going to be waiting. Stay involved with the developers. I was on the ball as soon as they needed information. Working hand-in-hand made it a very successful project.

First of all, codenest.co has improved the readability of the blog and added some features that make it easier for users to use the blog. As a result, I gained greater involvement in the content and longer session time. This is one of the reasons why my articles are higher in the search results.

We started with writing down our requirements for the new website. Later, we conducted an analytics study. Based on the accumulated knowledge, we have prepared guidelines for changes that we have implemented on the website.

My goal was to create a fresh and readable website that had greater integration with social media. It had to be easy to update since we are constantly uploading new wedding reception pictures. Our target deadline was the end of March 2017.

They designed our new website and introduced search engine optimization. Before our first appointment, I was asked to present the websites that I liked and describe their best features. During our first meeting, I described my company and defined my expectations in terms of layout, color scheme, and plugins. After that meeting, I outlined the website concept in a basic graphics program and created some guidelines.

Codenest sent me a mockup and accepted my corrections, gradually working on issues related to subpages. Every suggestion I made was taken into consideration. They also suggested interesting and readable solutions for presenting wedding packages.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Thanks to the contact form they created, we are receiving an increasing number of inquiries from potential clients. We also receive positive feedback from our existing and new clients, who find the site easy to navigate.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their project management was satisfying. I was in constant contact with Codenest, and I never waited more than two days for a response. We were communicating via emails and over the phone at least two times a week. They didn't manage to complete the project earlier, but they did meet the deadline.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They prepared clear video tutorials concerning the website service.

Are there any areas for improvement?

At the start of the project, they should’ve provided one e-mail account for communication about website details. Since I was sending messages to two Codenest email accounts, I found it difficult to find issues raised.

We hired Codenest to encode the template and create a new plugin that supports signals for the Wordpress system. Codenest has provided a proprietary solution that works flawlessly.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal of the project was to provide new exchange users with relevant courses introducing them to the world of Forex. An important thing was the integration of the portal with Whatsapp and Telegram in order to provide users with course signals on a regular basis.

We considered many companies and the choice at Codenest fell because we got along very well from the very beginning, and the project valuation was also very optimal for us and was within the budget.

Codenest used (after mutual agreement) the Wordpress system, for which it created a proprietary plugin to handle notifications by Whatsapp and Telegram messengers. The page template provided by us has been perfectly coded on WP and is no different from the graphic design.

The plugin provided by Codenest works very well. Codenest proposed additional functionalities that we ended up really liking. Despite choosing a rather unusual system for handling payments and subscriptions, the team managed to implement them without any problems on the platform.

Four people from Codenest were involved in the creation of the site, and they acted very closely. There were no programmer changes during the project, so we avoided delays.

Forex Kings is a new project, which is expected to start at the end of August, but thanks to excellent cooperation with Codenest we will definitely achieve success!

Codenest.us designed and developed a brand-new website built on WordPress. They also designed graphics and made a landing page. I hired a different agency for our marketing, and Codenest.us created all the graphics they needed to use.

The platform includes a page for frequently asked questions with a form to submit inquiries. They also added a Facebook contact form, which is a new WordPress plug-in that lets users write directly to my Facebook page or send us a standard email.

I’m very happy with the product Codenest.us delivered. The website they created is mobile responsive and only has one page to scroll through to see all of the content. All of the information is clearly laid out and answers all the questions that any of my clients would want to know first.
