BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the IT project manager at GTV BUS. We're one of the biggest companies in Poland operating in the door-to-door people transportation sector. We have over 1,000 employees, and we drive over 1,000 users every day.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with codelabs.rocks?
We needed to develop a new version of our core system since it was outdated. The system manages all our operational work aspects. We required the system to have an e-commerce platform, a B2B platform for orders and reservations, and a system our dispatchers could use to plan routes and manage operations.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
codelabs.rocks has been involved in our whole development scope. We started by defining requirements based on our previous legacy system, which we needed to redevelop. The team has analyzed the legacy system and developed a new version. codelabs.rocks has used PHP with a Symfony framework to build our system's backend, and the frontend uses Angular and Docker. The system is being used in our production space and codelabs.rocks continues to develop new functionalities.
What is the team composition?
We work with codelabs.rocks' project manager, developers, and QA specialists.
How did you come to work with codelabs.rocks?
codelabs.rocks' headquarters are in the same city where we're located. The team was referred by our insurance company, which had previously worked with them. We engaged with codelabs.rocks because they had a good reputation and high-level skills.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started collaborating with codelabs.rocks in January 2021, and our engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We've switched to the new system developed by codelabs.rocks, which allows our dispatchers and employees to complete tasks quicker and offers them more possibilities. A task that would take our employees around 2–3 hours to complete on our previous system, they can now do it in 15–20 minutes.
The entire team works at a high level. codelabs.rocks has good software architects, and our system's architecture is excellent and brings benefits to our company. Our software is stable and flexible for future changes.
How did codelabs.rocks perform from a project management standpoint?
We work with a dedicated project manager from codelabs.rocks, and our cooperation is flexible. We keep in touch, and the team is very responsive. codelabs.rocks works with us as if they were our employees, being available most of the time. codelabs.rocks completes work quickly, and we treat them as true partners. codelabs.rocks follows a Scrum approach, and we communicate through Google Chat and have in-person meetings every two weeks.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I'm mostly impressed by codelabs.rocks' work quality, starting from our system architecture throughout the development and QA process. The team offers other alternatives when they know there are better and more stable solutions to their work. codelabs.rocks is proactive in providing recommendations instead of only executing what we ask them to.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can't find anything to point out about codelabs.rocks' work. We've cooperated with many software development companies, and the team is very good.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
I suggest giving codelabs.rocks as much knowledge as possible during the project's scope and trusting them as a true partner, and I'm sure the results will be good.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of ALLEHERZEN GmbH. We’re an IT company that fulfills projects in three verticals: the energy sector, life science, and healthcare. We focus on complex IT projects, mostly related to integration and custom development.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with codelabs.rocks?
We were looking to change our service provider since our end client was unhappy with our previous vendor. We needed to work with a more comprehensive vendor.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
codelabs.rocks works on a project in the energy sector related to a customer loyalty program. The project’s challenges are integrating the software with the end client’s existing infrastructure and digital systems to accumulate customer behavior data and utilize it for this customer loyalty program. The product has already been launched and is working. codelabs.rocks developed this product from scratch and created the MVP first.
codelabs.rocks tested the MVP with the end client’s customers and rewrote the code again to integrate with the end client’s systems. codelabs.rocks has developed the product’s frontend using React.js. On the backend, codelabs.rocks has used AWS and its different container technologies, including AWS Lambda, Amazon ECS, and Amazon Quantum Ledger Database.
After this project, we’ve decided to expand our engagement with codelabs.rocks and bring in new end clients. We’ve actually made codelabs.rocks our main technology partner, and although they aren’t the only vendor we rely on, they’re the ones we look for the most.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with a large team from codelabs.rocks of around 15–20 teammates, including Adam (Head of Partnerships), various project managers, and software developers. At the beginning of our engagement, Adam partnered us with the appropriate talents from codelabs.rocks’ team.
How did you come to work with codelabs.rocks?
We found codelabs.rocks on Clutch since we’ve been actively using Clutch to source talent.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around €500,000 (approximately $550,000 USD) with codelabs.rocks.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with codelabs.rocks in January 2022, and our partnership is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our end client is satisfied with codelabs.rocks, and this indicator is very important for us. Since it’s a loyalty project, our main goal is to keep the customers engaged with our end client’s brand. codelabs.rocks has helped our client achieve a 25% increase in retention rate for customers participating in their loyalty program.
Moreover, codelabs.rocks adapt their team and brings in more resources when the project’s scope changes.
How did codelabs.rocks perform from a project management standpoint?
codelabs.rocks has delivered the project on time. We’re happy that codelabs.rocks aren’t only picking up the tasks and getting them done, but they’re also very engaged with us in the conceptualization phase. codelabs.rocks is communicative and actively works on improving our project. We use Trello and Jira to plan tasks and sprints and communicate mainly through Slack, although we also have weekly calls on Google Meet.
Due to high inflations in Polland, codelabs.rocks had to increase their rates by 15% some time after we started working together. We happily accepted this increase once we saw codelabs.rocks’ work quality and expertise. Even though the increase was outside our original budget, codelabs.rocks negotiated an agreement that accommodated us and considered the projects that were already active, applying the price increase only to the projects that hadn’t started yet.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m most impressed with codelabs.rocks planning capabilities and architectural work. They have a very strong architect that has done most of the infrastructure planning on AWS. codelabs.rocks actively thinks about the project’s challenges and plans solutions for the future that are outside our current scope of work — this is something we hadn’t seen before with previous vendors.
Accommodating codelabs.rocks considerations in our project’s planning have steered us away from decisions that might have been harmful in the future. I have 20 years of experience in the development industry, and codelabs.rocks’ work has stood out because they’re very engaged with our project. codelabs.rocks isn’t only a service provider — they’re an active partner.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything for codelabs.rocks to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I recommend treating codelabs.rocks as a partner instead of just a vendor. Explain your project in detail because they’re willing to listen and take the time to thoroughly understand it. While working with codelabs.rocks, it took us a moment to understand that investing time in explaining the project in detail would benefit the project and help it run more smoothly.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Gniotpol Trailers, a big automotive industry company in Poland. We produce about 1,200 individual units that are needed to build trucks and trailers.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with codelabs.rocks?
They built a totally new web page from scratch for us.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
The site needed to be able to connect to our new software and needed to make it easier for our service department to order parts. After meeting with codelabs.rocks, they started working on our mockups. After that, they started working intensely on development in October and November.
What is the team composition?
I interacted with two people regularly, but there were always seven people working on the project.
How did you come to work with codelabs.rocks?
I spoke with several service providers that used a lot of technical language and it was difficult to understand them. I asked a friend who is very knowledgeable in this area for recommendations. He suggested codelabs.rocks because they would explain everything in layman’s terms.
After talking to them, I felt very confident in our partnership. They were familiar with our new software and could ensure that the new site would be compatible. They were also very professional and could meet our requirements.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $15,000–$20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The partnership began in June and ended in December 2020.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’re among the best service providers I’ve worked with. The site is very well-done from a technical point of view. Our service department says that the ordering process is much easier. codelabs.rocks met all of our requirements, solved a lot of our problems, and stayed in budget.
How did codelabs.rocks perform from a project management standpoint?
They asked me to use Slack and it became our main platform for communication. We also held phone calls and had meetings. Their communication was perfect.
They managed the project timeline well by following a scrum methodology. Their organization was very helpful; they assigned dates to each deliverable. On top of that, they accommodated our work schedule. I like to work long hours, and it wasn’t a problem for them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I have very little experience in this area, and so I appreciated that codelabs.rocks took the lead. Overall, they were very helpful, and that build up trust between us. They even connected us with a marketing team. Everybody worked together, and it resulted in an effective solution.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything they need to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I’d recommend that new clients should listen to codelabs.rocks because they’re specialists in their area. If they want a professional product, they should consider codelabs.rocks’ suggestions. For example, during our rebranding process, they were helpful because they knew about the newest trends in marketing.

The client submitted this review online.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm was the head of the LGFA web deployment project. My responsibility was to coordinate and deliver a multifunctional web platform for the Ladies Gaelic Football Assoc. An organisation that is responsible the many football clubs across the country - providing support for the teams, players, and fans.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire codelabs.rocks?
The challenge was to create a modern, user-oriented platform, that would not only serve an informational role, but also be a hub for every the various site users. That includes the team managers, players from different clubs, parents interested in sending kids for training, people seeking to raise their management skill level and fans checking fixtures and match results.
Creating an extensive website, with a significant amount of user types and a variety of components needed to managed by a user-friendly CMS system with multiple integrations, so the task was a considerable one.
What were your goals for this project?
The goal was to create an online hub for everyone involved in the sport nationwide and globally. With information about the league scattered across a large number of third party websites, we wanted to bring together everything to make sure anyone connected to the association had a fuller experience in one place.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
We have had an excellent experience with codelabs.rocks in the past. This software house has also been a driving force for another large project that I co-manage in Ireland. I did not consider anyone else for the job. The quality, pricing and dedication that codelabs.rocks bring to each project, gave me the confidence that we could tackle a project of this scale together.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
We had a great model of cooperation with codelabs.rocks - Project Management was done in house along with prototyping and design - codelabs.rocks, provided a development team that slotted in perfectly to our process. This flexibility was invaluable in my experience development houses can be reluctant to work in a way that fully suits the client.
Codelabs.rocks did an excellent job by putting in position a SCRUM master that coordinated with the PM allowing for full visibility on progress making remote management of the project stress free. The developers also worked really well with our design team to understand the flow and the tech that was used to deliver the project was impressive.
We worked in short sprints, and received updates and new iterations of the web platform every 2 weeks. No serious delays happened along the way and the product was delivered as scheduled. The whole process was very smooth, communication was excellent - we had at least 2-3 long video calls per week, and regular face-to-face meetings were organised at our offices, with team managers flying in at key milestones.
What was the team composition?
We worked with a team consisting of 3 front-end developers with different specialisations that complimented each other, 5 back-end devs, 2 people in a QA division and a SCRUM master. In total there was a team of 11 people to help us deliver on what was a very successful project.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We have deployed the a great solution on time, with no delays. It was an immediate hit and had great feedback from the audience of users. It resulted in a better client relationship and more projects have been forthcoming as a result. Client trust is a big deal for us and have a partner that we can rely is paramount for us.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We really liked that sprints at codelabs.rocks are organised in a shorter than usual period. 2 weeks instead of 3-4 for each iteration of the project, made the development process a bit faster and more efficient and allowed for greater visibility.
With greater visibility it was possible for us to dive in and solve small issues before they became bigger problems We were also impressed by their Scrum Masters training and credentials and it allowed for a great experience.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They really get behind the project, they feel like part of the team. The development team were top-notch, able to think outside of the box and bringing innovative solutions to problems that had to be solved during the development.
They also have really good remote work practices - this is important if - if you are looking for a nearshore team, you can rely on codelabs.rocks - communication was great and issues that arose were dealt with swiftly.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No - we continue to work with Codelabs.rocks on a variety of projects. Of course there is always room for improvements but as we work together more the relationship just gets better. We now even have dedicated resources for certain projects again all testament to their flexibility.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the CEO of Dental Cost. We are one of the most renowned distributors for dental healthcare tools in Europe. We create a space for the specialists, and suppliers to meet and conduct business together.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire codelabs.rocks?
We presented codelabs.rocks with a challenge to create a platform that will become an engine that simplifies the trade of dental supplies in Europe, making it more reliable and secure at the same time.
What were your goals for this project?
The goal was to create a modern platform, with the exponential growth capabilities, that will become a primary place in the region to conduct business, replacing the outdated over-the-phone model. Performance of the platform, and it's usability were key to speed up the ordering process. All that, focusing on the specific needs of specialists in this demanding industrial sector.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
We have known people behind codelabs.rocks from the past projects under a different flag. With appreciation towards their skill and expertise in the technologies that we known will have to be used (such as Presta and custom native PHP scripting) in dentalcost.es project, it was natural to approach them with our vision.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
The First steps to take with codelabs.rocks was a thorough business analysis of our concept, basing on the current situation and our knowledge about the industry. We've gained the support of a person that became the manager of the project, who has shown a great understanding of what we want to achieve, despite operating in an industry that has very distinct specifics.
Next, working together, we have developed a prototype of the platform that allowed us to identify and omit problems that might arise in the future - saving time and money in the effect. With a satisfying version on the sketch board, we proceeded with the actual development. The process was managed very efficiently, and we could see the real effects every 2 weeks. The iterations/sprints were carried out on time and with the delivery of the promised features.
We were able to reach a product that we have published about 20% faster than expected. Multiple personalizations and integrations with outside partners were deployed, to successfully fulfill the requirements of the dropshipping sales model. Codelabs.rocks maintains and supports the platform, and will delineate remain our partner in this, and in the future, similar projects.
What was the team composition?
The team was scaled on-demand. In a situation where additional resources were needed - it was possible to attach more developers to the project, to maintain the deadlines. It was impressive to see that even thou the additional people were not on the project since the beginning - they nevertheless were able to catch up, and fit tightly into the plan. So in the end, we have begun with 8 people that we have hired, and in the end the team consisted of 14 engineers. That also includes a dedicated project manager who took care of the proper organization of the work and team.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We have reached the goal that we have aimed for, and monopolized the part of the market we have had in mind. We are within top3 sites distributing specialist items from our industry.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
The project was managed by a dedicated PM, who has run it from the beginning till the end. In the initial phase, he also helped out with the analysis of the platform that we wanted to develop and had an influence over how it has been coded in the end.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Like mentioned before - we liked how the team is able to scale along with the growth of the project. Codelabs.rocks is not a small, backyard development team, but a full-fledged software house. This means that they will not panic when the development gets to a complicated point. They will keep the deadlines by adding additional resources to the team - which thanks to the agile method they use is totally possible and effective.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Nothing comes to mind. If you're looking for an agile development team that is bold and delivers - look no further.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm responsible for developing solutions and expanding the reach of our company in new markets. Hardbeans is a leading artisan coffee roasting company based in Poland. Our specialty coffee is known as one of the best in Europe and we keep expanding into new markets.
After years of working with coffee specialists around Europe, we have noticed that one of the most time and effort consuming moments during their work, is providing a proper assessment about what is the roast level of the coffee seeds in the industrial process. We wished to create a tool that would allow the roastmasters to select a random seed from the roasting machinery, and compare its visual appearance with the database - to help decisionmaking on multiple points of the process.
We wanted to create a smart-phone app that would connect with the peripheral device - a colorimetric tool, calibrated with x-rite standards - to create a lab-like environment, directly at the coffee roasteries. This would streamline the process of coffee roasting for the specialists, and in the end - it would lead to increased consistency between different coffee shipments, greatly improving the quality of the roasting process.
Codelabs was recommended to us amongst a few other software houses. In the end, our decision was due to the high skill of the developers, and their open-minded approach to our idea. Since it exceeded a usual coding - we had a custom, prototype peripheral device that had to be integrated with the smartphone app - they were not afraid to accept the challenge at all.
Describe the project in detail.
The project was separated into 2 different parts. The simple one included crating a smartphone app - first using a PWA approach. The application was initially created as a web-app and pushed to mobile as a hybrid. At a later time during the development process, a fully native mobile app was made for us. The more complicated one involved creating a fully functional consumer electronic device - a coffee grain roast level scanner - that had to be a perfectly calibrated colorimetric tool, with the internal operating system and full communication with desktop computers, smartphones, and tablets. They delivered exactly what they have promised.
What was the team composition?
The team had 15-20 developers onboard. We had an influence on the size of the team - it was adapted to our technological requirements, but also verified against the timeframe of the project. To make the system ready for an important event, our team was bigger than usual. When the team grew we had concerns about the ability of the new members to work on the project without being a part of the team from the start. It turned out well and everything went smoothly. Lot of work was done by the Project Manager that managed the team - we received constant updates from him and we were aware how is the development progresing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The app is a huge thing in our industry. Since its revolutionary and game-changing thing, it takes some time to reach maturity. We see that we are gaining traction and within a few months we will have a stable user base that will allow us to say - it's a success. We are working with codelabs.rocks on constant updates - and everything is going according to the plan.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Project is managed with the hands and mind of Bartek - he is an impressive Project Manager that has an unbelievably analytical mind. He is the point of contact for us, end thoroughly explains every development issue to us in a simple way. It was the first experience with SCRUM methodology for us, and the way work is organized into 2 weeks long "sprints" just nailed it for us.
The way they are adapting to the changing environment. We had a prototype device that had to be connected with an app. Along the way, we encountered a lot of surprises. None of those were beyond codelabs capabilities and they've found good solutions for every single problem that has occurred.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Accuracy of the price assessment vs. the final price. The final cost was slightly off when compared to the quote - we were however notified beforehand, had a chance to negotiate and talk, so in the end, everything turned out smooth.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm responsible for the introduction and development of innovative solutions at Open Brokers. We're a national leader in fintech and banking industry. We are introducing the concepts we have mastered in the aforementioned sectors into the insurance branch, effectively enabling customers to access a broad range of offers that can be compared online.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire codelabs.rocks?
Up to this point on the national market, acquisition and comparison of the insurance offers were done manually - the analog way - despite various providers having an online offer - the brokers and agents were the only option to use when a customer wanted to do a thorough comparison between the offers. We decided to make an online platform that would allow customers to effectively compare the offers of the different insurance companies online, with a possibility to sign a contract, there and then, also online.
What were your goals for this project?
The goal was to modernize the market and to include the insurance sector in Poland in the web revolution, which so far did not reach it. We had to create a platform that would effectively tap into the offers of multiple providers, giving an accurate comparative result, with end-points connected between us and them, to offer a possibility of quick insurance, thus becoming a go-to online insurance broker.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
We have worked with codelabs.rocks on a project details of which can not be disclosed. It involved an extensive insight into banking and financial industries. We have had an excellent experience with them, and the other solution that was delivered made us choose and approach codelabs.rocks without considering any other software house. The scope of the project along with the technologies that would be used we're close to the other project - there was no reason to look any further.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
Work with codelabs.rocks is a smooth experience overall, despite the complexity of the solutions that they develop. A dedicated Project Manager is a standard nowadays, but the specialist we worked with was an effective Project Manager, with Business Analisis skills on top-level as well. This ensured a good understanding of our business environment by the development team. With the prototype-based approach, we have created a wireframe of the final platform that served as a guideline for the development. We had no problem with including design changes, and before we stepped into development itself, we had worked out how in particular the system will operate. Work is delivered every 2 weeks, in iterations that are pushed out regularly - we can track the progress and stay updated all along the process. We still work together, the project is ongoing, and we hope to have more in common in the future.
What was the team composition?
The team we work with consists of more than 15 members, of different specializations. Apart from front and back end specialists, that also work together in smaller, task-oriented groups, there is a dedicated Project Manager granted by codelabs.rocks, who serves as a connector between the team and us. It's important - the devs not always are easy to understand, and having a support of a "translator" is crucial. It's worth to point out that PM had challenged us multiple times in regards to the features we asked for, and was not afraid to say that some things are unnecessary or even obstructive in reality.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We have deployed the platform successfully. Its quality has been checked and assured and is now gaining traction on the market. Delivery happened on time, with features that we have agreed upon, and without complications.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
codelabs.rocks work efficiently and elegantly. Compared to other developers we have had a chance to check out, they "compress" the usual sprints and push out the iterations based on 2 week-long periods, instead of those usual, lasting for 3 weeks. For us, it worked well and allowed us to publish the product faster, without making concessions in regards to the features and quality. Can't praise the PM enough - extraordinary approach and mindset. The developers surprised us also - as with our previous project, they did outstanding work, providing extraordinary solutions.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Quality work has been maintained under quite a pressure - we had a really tight deadline, and had to land the project on a very specific moment. Codelabs.rocks delivered, despite the necessity to shift some devs around our and other projects, If one thing has to be pointed, it's that the guys at codelabs.rocks will not hesitate to stop you when you're daydreaming and getting too optimistic about the planned features. They are ambitious yet down to earth people that know the limits and will not be afraid to tell you that something can no be done in the way you imagine it will be done. Speed with quality maintained. If there was any lag in development, it was due to the outside factors. If they plan to have something pushed out on a selected date, they will do that. Full stop. We used to work with developers that either rushed the projects and didn't deliver the essence, or took too long to finish the project. In this case, there is a perfect balance in their work.
Are there any areas for improvement?
A slight con that comes to mind, is that we had to share a few highly specialised devs with their other projects. It didnt really end in a delay thanks to the good organization, but we had to change priorities. As far as i know the guys have been hiring since then and the problem shouldnt occur anymore. But if there is anything to improove - its that.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the founder and proprietor of Masternodes Club. I'm responsible for both the technical and marketing management of the business. We provide a distinctive service, based on the blockchain technology, that allows users to create their altcoin nodes with a simplified process.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire codelabs.rocks?
We had a vision of a business model that would allow our users to have their own altcoin nodes deployed and installed, without resorting to technical skills and capabilities. With the added value of providing an alternative way to generate cryptocurrencies, we aimed to gain traction amongst the people on-the-go, who don't want to miss out on the crypto-revolution. All that, with minimum hassle and with no complications.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed a solid, scalable solution that would adapt to the growing traffic and requirements of expanding userbase. It had to be web-based, accessible primarily from desktop, with mobile platforms in mind as a secondary access option.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
We have made an effort to ask around for a good, well-established software house. Multiple businesses operating within our industry pointed at codelabs.rocks. They have fintech experience and tech skills that suited our needs perfectly.
Describe the project in detail.
codelabs.rocks handled a full stack of the development for our platform. The actual development did not begin until we have run through an extensive analysis of our idea with their business analyst. It took a couple of days to create a wireframe of how the platform would work - and at this point already we knew that codelabs.roks was a great choice. They've helped us realize that some assumptions that we have made in the planning process - were errors - and we dodged huge problems that would occur later on. SCRUM process did a marvelous job for us - we really enjoyed being involved in the development process this way. Updates were regular, tools that we were granted (Jira access, project management) were useful, and whole experience was top-notch.
What was the team composition?
We had a Project Manager who handled the direct contact, a User Interface designer and a full spectrum of developers who handled front/back end development. After each sprint, a QA team verified the stability of the platform.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Since we were a startup, wether the platform will work, was a decisive factor in our survival and growth. We are here, we are growing and we are doing well! I think this perfectly illustrates that cooperation with codelabs.rocks was a success!
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Codelabs.rocks works efficiently and elegantly. Developers stick to the SCRUM methodology - as well as the Project Manager. It's a well-established way to code, and for a reason! In the case of a difficult project like ours - it allowed us to develop a professional platform that was seamlessly deployed.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They are smart guys that can "feel" the vision and they seem like they are fueled by the need to make an impact with the work they do.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We were fully satisfied with codelabs.rocks work - no areas that can be improved come to mind.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of a website development and marketing firm.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with codelabs.rocks?
We hired them to assist with website development.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They helped us with website development, including front- and backend. We used them for a variety of projects, so they’ve used a number of different languages and platforms. This has included WordPress, Laravel, PHP, AngularJS, and React.
What is the team composition?
The size of the team varies depending on the project. Typically, we work with a team of 8-16 people, including a project manager.
How did you come to work with codelabs.rocks?
I worked with the owner a while back and was impressed by his work.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent several hundred thousand dollars, but I’m not sure exactly how much since we’ve worked together for so long.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began our ongoing relationship with them about 11 years ago.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I find them flexible and professional. I’ve worked with a lot of developers, and they’re the best to deal with. The team has someone with proficiency in any given language. The project managers are very good and so is the testing aspect. We’ve had a strong working relationship with them. The experience has been positive.
How did codelabs.rocks perform from a project management standpoint?
We work in sprints and Agile methodology. I’m not involved in the day-to-day. However, I think it’s a good thing that issues never come onto my radar since it shows they’re managing any problems that might arise. They’re skilled in Scrum and Agile methodologies.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They deliver high-quality work on time. I also enjoy the relationship I’ve built with the team there. It’s easy to work with them because I’ve gotten to know them over the years.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Not specifically. It would be hard to criticize them. There are challenges with any project. We don’t have issues with them being a remote partner. The communication is clear, and they’re fluent in English.
I don’t go to them with easy projects. They have a good mix of senior and mid-level developers. They’re people that can think outside of the box. They’ve given me a lot of confidence that they can solve any problems that come their way. We work well together and I’ve always been happy with the response I’ve gotten from them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Ask a lot of questions. It would also be useful to have some familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
