We hired CodeGeeks Solutions to build K3X from the ground up into a production-ready, AI-native CRM. The core objective was to deliver a platform where users don’t build workflows, automations, or triggers. Instead, they simply tell an AI agent the outcome they want, and the agent executes it.

CodeGeeks Solutions has handled the full build of K3X end-to-end, including engineering, design, and QA. The main deliverables include an AI agent system, which is the core of the product. Users describe an outcome, and the agents execute it. This system includes the agent builder and multi-step agent actions.

Moreover, the team has built the CRM foundation, including contacts, pipelines, lists, importing, and bulk actions across records. They’ve also developed email and text handling, including sending, formatting, signatures, and templating. Additionally, they’ve created a responsive, polished UI, including layout refinement for smaller screens and design consistency across the app.CodeGeeks Solutions has also set up the full environment and release management, including development, staging, and production environments. They’ve also set up the subdomains and infrastructure to support them. What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The clearest measure of success is that we’ve gone from zero to a live, production-ready product with paying customers. We’ve shipped K3X to production and launched a public beta, with paying customers onboarding daily. We’ve also delivered a full AI v2.0 release, a major upgrade to the agent system, on schedule after a clean staging and regression pass. We haven’t had any major production issues at launch.

Moreover, we’ve maintained a consistent sprint cadence, moving features reliably from development to staging to production without slipping timelines. The product has held up well enough at launch that we’ve been able to keep the engagement ongoing and continue building on top of it.

How did CodeGeeks Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management has been a real strength. Olga (Project Manager) keeps everything organized and communicative. She holds regular refinement calls, clear sprint planning, and a summarized recap of what’s going into each production release. As a result, I always know what to expect and when.

Moreover, they deliver on time. When we set a target to get AI v2.0 into production, they gave a realistic estimate, ran it through staging and a full regression pass, and hit the planned release. Feedback and bugs I send — often as Loom videos — are turned into tickets and addressed quickly, frequently within the same sprint.

The whole engagement runs through a structured dev → staging → production pipeline, and I always have visibility into progress. It feels less like outsourcing and more like working with an in-house team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

What impresses me most is their ability to build genuinely hard AI functionality, not just standard CRM features. Building an agent-first system — where the AI reliably interprets an outcome and takes the right actions — is a real technical challenge. CodeGeeks Solutions has iterated through it thoughtfully across two major versions rather than shipping something half-baked.

Beyond the engineering, they take real ownership. When I raise a design or UX question, they don’t just wait for a spec. They weigh in with their own opinion on what would look and work best, and I trust them to run with it. The team also cares about the details, catching small UX issues before I do. They refine things like responsive layouts and component styling that a lot of teams would skip.

The communication and responsiveness make it feel like a true partnership. I can send a quick Loom video, and it’s understood, ticketed, and often fixed within the same sprint. For an early-stage product where speed and quality both matter, that combination is exactly what we need.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Honestly, there’s very little I’d change. If I had to point to something, a few of the AI outputs needed refining early on. There were small formatting inconsistencies in generated emails and text, like occasional font-size issues, that I’d catch and flag. They’re always quick to fix them, but tightening those edge cases earlier in the QA pass would’ve saved a couple of review cycles.

The only other thing is the natural friction of a fully remote, distributed setup. Occasionally, a bit of environment or infrastructure setup (subdomains, verification steps) takes some back-and-forth to sort out. None of it is a real blocker, and their responsiveness more than makes up for it. Overall, it’s hard to ask for much more from an early-stage build partner.

To secure our code, we asked Codegeeks to evaluate all of our codebase and to implement changes to remove SQL Injection and to remediate web server configuration issues. They helped us implement a dev ops pipeline that includes the use of multiple environments, detailed tracking, and a more robust infrastructure configuration that will scale when needed to support many users in different regions. 

Finally, they added features to allow for improved in-app communications through a direct messaging system, the created an integration to allow us to pay our suppliers directly in the platform (with Stripe), and improved our end user experience.

We have had zero downtime since implementing our new platform configuration with Codegeeks. We have reduced the time and effort to pay our suppliers through the changes made to the software from Codegeeks. We have rolled out over 50 individual changes or features to the platform through the Codegeeks and Bthere team.

They provided a specific and mature process using Notion and Jira software to allow us to track along with Slack to communicate. They have always responded in one day or less and they always explain when there are questions or scope changes so that there are no surprises.

We’re a startup, and we hired them to develop the first version of our mobile app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

CodeGeeks Solutions provides us with mobile app development. Initially, they scoped out our MVP, and we went to work with their designers. We had a beta version of the app that was very rudimentary and had a hand-drawn wireframe. Although we showed them the beta version and pictures of the wireframe, they created the app from scratch for iOS and Android. 

The team has designed our mobile app’s frontend and developed its backend architecture. They’ve helped set up the app’s deployment and payment. Once the app goes live, CodeGeeks Solutions will help us optimize it.

We began discussions with them in April 2022, started working together in June 2022, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

My partner and I have been testing the app and validating that the features are accurate, and everything has been good so far. We’ll launch the app this week.

Since CodeGeeks Solutions is using a large set of data, and we didn’t want to purchase many tools during the development process, the app has had crashes. However, these bugs are to be expected, and CodeGeeks Solutions has resolved the issues. 

How did CodeGeeks Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management system has been good. They have a ticketing system in Jira where they manage their agile project development, including sprints and a backlog. 

As for communication, we have a web conference once a week. Initially, we met more than once a week, but as development progressed, we reduced the cadence. We also use Slack constantly. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

This is our first time building a mobile app, so we don’t have much experience with other providers outside the interview process. What we liked about CodeGeeks Solutions during that process was that they had different skill sets across their team. They have front- and backend developers, architecture engineers, and project managers in one team, so we don’t have to source any roles, making things easy for us. 

The CodeGeeks Solutions team has been great to work with. When we’ve had issues or challenges, they’ve been reasonable and fair and have invested in our company. Therefore, our goals are aligned; they want to see the app succeed and grow the user base. We appreciate how much they believe in the product.

They’re still refining their process, so we’ve had a bit of scope creep due to inefficiencies early on in the process. However, they’ve worked through those issues and improved them.

I advise being really clear about your requirements from the beginning and having them fully documented. Additionally, you should be able to communicate those requirements effectively to the CodeGeeks Solutions team.

By replacing Excel spreadsheets with enterprise software, business rules can be easily applied and updated. This has resulted in higher margins and fewer errors. An innovative field application using Ipads has just been deployed that integrates with the client's accounting software creating faster billings and better cash flow.

Their project management is excellent. The project managers are highly skilled with great technological expertise but also easy to talk to (i.e. regular guys). Sprints and timesheets are managed in Jira (a client requirement), and communications are through Slack.

The breadth and depth of knowledge along with the application of that knowledge and the teamwork at CodeGeeks Solutions is very impressive. Everyone from the BA to QA was up to speed about the project details and I never felt as though I was repeating the same information to multiple teams.

We hired CodeGeeks to build the second version of our product from the ground up. They created everything from scratch. The biggest challenge was building a data aggregation framework that could accept any type of source (list upload, api, updating SFTP) and allow for custom data mapping, pricing, querying and more. Some of the data sources include millions of records, so we needed to create a system that could handle that amount of input.

We were referred to Code Geeks from a trusted source. We interviewed them, really appreciated their communication styles, and loved how quickly they could turn around a working prototype.

We started the project with an initial proof of concept using an API based data source and some rough wireframes. The team completed that in a timely manner and we committed to the project from there. We typically aim for weekly sprints with new features and functionality to smoothen out the flow and add more scenarios. We eventually added more types of data sources (SFTP syncs and manual uploads). We also integrated Stripe for processing payments and purchasing credits within the system. It is built on React and Node.

Since this was a brand new product for us, I really appreciated their communication style, their willingness to go with the flow, and the whole team's ability to move forward without all the proper documentation and designs. We kept throwing a bunch of different, new use cases and data sources at the team and they found smart ways to integrate them into our system.

They are strong communicators and give us daily updates on progress. I've worked with many development teams, both overseas and stateside, and I'm incredibly impressed with the CodeGeeks team. They're everything you want for with a development partner. They've built a team of A+ talent.

Any issue I've had (and they've all been small), they've done a great job of communicating and making changes to mitigate them. They're very flexible to making everything work to a clients' particular needs.
