I am the CEO of Farmers Electric Cooperative, Inc.

Describe what your company does in a single sentence.

Farmers Electric Cooperative, Inc. is an electric utility company servicing 12 counties in East Texas. Farmers is the largest growing electric cooperative in Texas.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire CodeCross to accomplish?

• We needed to create a new website that was more innovative, user-friendly, and functional in order to give our customers maximum details, options, and services. Our old website was out of date, didn't satisfy our current business goals, and lacked efficiency and usability. 
• The main objective was to create a new website that was efficient and user-friendly, capable of performing all the functions we had envisioned. 
• Initially, we only wanted CodeCross to create a PRD for a new website, but we ended up liking the PRD & designs CodeCross offered, so we decided to move forward with additional development.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We began with a discovery phase when the PRD and ideas for a future website were created. The PRD had all the elements our old website lacked in addition to some brand-new, cutting-edge additions. The design of the website came next. Here, CodeCross excelled in providing excellent UX/UI knowledge. 

We started development as soon as the designs were accepted. Overall, this phase was divided into sprints and based on the roadmap that CodeCross had developed beforehand. Planned functionality was delivered in each sprint. June saw the launch of the redesigned website. We're now working on its second version, which requires the creation of new capabilities.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since the initial version was issued in June, it is premature to provide any figures. However, we can immediately observe an increase in user reaction. The website now has a lot of helpful tools, such an auto loan calculator, a catalog of spare parts, a test drive area, an automobile comparison tool, and much more, that enable us to engage new consumers and give current ones better service. Additionally, the website is still being developed, and new features are being added.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Both our procedures and communication went successfully. Dmytro, the project manager, was the primary person with whom I spoke, and he was able to fully and promptly respond to all of my inquiries and demands.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

First and foremost, it's their methodology: they consistently surpass our expectations while also delivering on their promises. When I worked with CodeCross, I could contribute very little to the project and still have everything go smoothly. 

Furthermore, their design techniques and experience are of the highest caliber. They have assessed our requirements and given us a creative, useful, and easy-to-use website design. I can see how amazing their work is when I look at the website we made today.

Are there any areas for improvement or something CodeCross could have done differently?

As of right now, I'm happy with the project's progress in terms of deliverables, teamwork, process, and communication. The fact that we used CodeCross to go to the second iteration is proof positive.
