I am the creator of the Self Guided Tours APP Live Life Barcelona. I am a licensed Tour Guide of Barcelona, with the dream of reaching more people by using technologies we have today.

For what projects/services did your company hire CodeBerry Solutions, and what were your goals?

I wanted to create an APP so I can reach more people. It had to be easy to use, intuitive and useful.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After several meetings, where I explained what I wanted and Juliette and Phil made clear what is the best solution, we decided to collaborate.

Our collaboration was amazing! More than I was expecting. We were in continuous communication and the thing that made the difference is that Code Berry treated the project just like it was theirs. We had weekly Zoom meetings and I constantly received the best advice on what would work better for my APP

Juliette was my main contact. She is the best there is!

Live Life Barcelona APP had great feedback from the users, greatly appreciating how intuitive the APP is.

The management of the project was more than I was expecting. Weekly calls discussing the advancement and what we could improve to make it better.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The commitment! Juliette dealt with the project like it was hers! I felt that I had a business partner, willing to find a way to implement what was better for the project. Phil and Carlos did a great job as well!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Everything was just perfect on the part of Code Berry Solutions, and I am looking forward to our further collaborations.

CienciaSanitaria is a small organization that organizes events and conferences on health science. I am a Cloud Engineer and DevOps with extensive experience in web development, and in CienciaSanitaria I am in charge of selecting the right people to develop our technology.

For what projects/services did your company hire CodeBerry Solutions?

Our organization needed a team with a lot of experience in web development to develop our platform for the organization and celebration of our main event.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed an online platform, prepared to support a high user load, capable of supporting thousands of scientific communications (both written and oral), and also that could generate electronic books and certificates derived from all scientific communications. It was a difficult challenge because of the complexity and the little time we had.

How did you select this vendor?

We interviewed many web development companies and freelancers, but definitely CodeBerry was the most prepared team for the job. Throughout the process they gave us the guarantee that they would be able to carry out the project. They provided us with evidence of good project management and excellent development skills.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

First we had several meetings to agree on the functionality and the wireframes of the application. Before beginning the development, the team prepared a panel with all the tasks broken down, to be able to discuss them and follow their development (agile development). During the development we had a weekly meeting to monitor the state. Each functionality developed was strictly tested by the CodeBerry team, which has given us extra security. At the end of the project, the team has been available to solve all our doubts and solve the possible normal operating errors of this type of development.

What was the team composition?

The project has had an excellent manager who has managed the team and the project in an outstanding way. The development team has been made up of two people, who had enough skills to do an exceptional job. At all times an agile methodology has been followed for the development of the project, which has meant that all the planned times are fulfilled, and that all the functionalities were finished and tested.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Thanks to the fact that the CodeBerry team has met the agreed development times, we have been able to launch our platform to the market well in advance. Thanks to this, the health personnel who will participate in the congress are already registering and sending their scientific communications. The growth is being very remarkable, so we anticipate that this year we will have a great congress.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Both planning and development have been managed excellently by the project manager. Thanks to that, the expected development times have been met. The project manager has always been available to answer all our questions, and has been very diligent in asking us for the necessary feedback so that the development team had all the information to complete the tasks.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

What surprised us the most are their excellent skills for the development of the project and for understanding our needs. It is something we have not found in other companies! If we add to that a fluid communication and a good project management, we can say that it is much more than we could expect.

Are there any areas for improvement?

To date we have not found anything to complain about. Everything that CodeBerry manages to improve will be an extra added value to its already good work.

I am the IT Digital Manager at Condis Supermercats, a Spain supermarket chain which employs about 5.000 people. Our company consists on more than 600 physical stores, mainly located in Barcelona and Madrid, and since 2000 an ecommerce, Condisline.

Moreover, this year we published our new App, Condis Family, which connects and offers various services to our customers.

For what projects/services did your company hire CodeBerry Solutions?

We hired CodeBerry to implement a new recipes service for Condis Family, our mobile app. This service offers our app users recipes based on their shopping list.

What were your goals for this project?

Offering a high quality recipes service with valuable content based on our customers shopping list.

How did you select this vendor?

Coberry started working with Eficook as a co-provider of the recipes project.

Describe the project in detail.

Define the structure of the recipes and once Condis delivers the information, it will adapt 80 recipes for the first version of the application to that structure.

The solution architecture will allow integrating the products through the API into the AWS backend managed by Codeberry, in addition to offering the service to show the recipes based on the customer's shopping list.

At the frontend level Codeberry will develop and managed the site that will be integrated into the Condis App like a recipes market place.

What was the team composition?

One project manager with architectural and programming knowledge. One content manager One developer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After 5 months of production usage, the recipes site and the backend is working with no incidents and accomplished its initial requirements. Next steps are to improve its current functionalities and provide new ones like allowing the purchase of products from a recipe.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

During the development and after its release the relationship has been magnificent, frequent and efficient with the entire CodeBerry team. We mainly highlight its commitment and agility in the resolution of tasks, especially the usage of agile methodologies and tools such as Slack and Skype.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

High commitment, responsibility and service level. They're always looking for the best solution for their customers in the shortest time possible, and with the best results and without incident.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We are very satisfied with their work, during the development and after its release. As a result, we hope to continue with this relationship and develop more projects with Codeberry.

I am a partner at a small bio-medical and pharmaceutical consulting company.

What challenge were you trying to address with CodeBerry Solutions?

We initially engaged them to develop a mobile application for use in a clinical trial. Our engagement grew to include website redesign and web development services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We relied on CodeBerry Solutions to build a mobile application that could be used as a reporting tool as part of a clinical trial. Once they completed that work, they implemented a design that we created as they built our company a new website.

What is the team composition?

We worked primarily with Juliette (Technical Director, CodeBerry Solutions) and Phil (Business Director, CodeBerry Solutions).

How did you come to work with CodeBerry Solutions?

We learned of CodeBerry Solutions through a freelancing platform called Malt. We spoke initially with Juliette, she created some solutions, and her team responded well to all of our questions.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about €5,000 (approximately $5,600 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement spanned March–July 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We now have a prototype of the application that we intend to show to clients. We want to use the app as part of a clinical trial, but that specific trial has been put on hold. Our website is complete but still has some issues. Those flaws aren’t because of CodeBerry Solutions’ work or effort; we just didn’t invest as much as we should have into the project.

How did CodeBerry Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They were excellent. We communicated well through emails, phone calls, and in-person meetings. Their response time was very impressive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We always felt as if they cared about our project, which was important to us as a client. They never offered generic answers to our questions. The entire experience felt very authentic.

No, they performed very well.
