Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an entrepreneur developing an events marketing platform called ChilloutGh.com. It advertises upcoming events and fun places in Ghana, in various categories.

What challenge were you trying to address with CloudWapp Technologies Pvt Ltd?
The business challenge was creating a single platform for upcoming events in Ghana with different category settings. It was a challenge to design a way for uploading the data pulled from the web automatically to the platform.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
CloudWapp Technologies Pvt Ltd developed my platform. It has a Google Maps integration for giving directions based on people’s interests, and it notifies users of upcoming events, which are all custom categorized. I don’t know what technologies were used. I just described to CloudWapp Technologies Pvt Ltd what I wanted and they identified the technologies to use and built it for me.
What is the team composition?
I interacted with one person from their team on Freelancer, and I believe there were 2–3 people involved in total, including a graphic designer.
How did you come to work with CloudWapp Technologies Pvt Ltd?
I found them on Freelancer, saw their specialization, and became interested. I gave them one or two sentences about what I wanted, and their contact understood my idea and came up with additional details. I decided to work with them based on that.
How much have you invested with them?
The total cost was $450.
What is the status of this engagement?
I started working with CloudWapp Technologies Pvt Ltd 3–4 weeks ago, and the platform was completed within three weeks’ time.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I don’t have any metrics so far, but I’m very happy with the platform and so are the people who’ve seen it. We’ve started running some ads on it and things seem to be going well. For now, I’ve only shown it to family and friends. We’re still in a trial period, and we’re hoping to fully launch the platform by the end of the year.
How did CloudWapp Technologies Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?
Communication was done through the chat feature on Freelancer. We also shared a Google Sheet for requirements.
What did you find most impressive about them?
CloudWapp Technologies Pvt Ltd’s response rate is very effective and it’s what I’m the most pleased about. I always got a reply within 2–3 minutes. I also realize that they were patient with me since my work was very specialized and I needed something custom-made. I had an idea in my mind but the challenge was communicating it with them. We tried things, I asked them for changes, and we went through this process a couple of times. They weren’t even bothered when I kept on changing my mind in certain places.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’m very happy with what they’ve done, but they could work a bit on their graphic design skills.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
It’s important to put all the requirements down in a document, and explain each one in a few sentences. Anyone looking to work with them should have a clear idea of what they really want and should describe each point in extra detail.
