I’m the GM of APAC and global operations at Festive Road. We offer consulting and outsourcing services to travel and expense buyers worldwide, helping organizations optimize their travel and expense management.

What challenge were you trying to address with CloudTech24?

We needed help keeping our client, company, and people’s confidential data safe and secure. We also wanted to ensure our team had strong, proactive IT support and that our systems enabled us to do our best work for clients in a productive, efficient, and safe way.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

CloudTech24’s work has led to improvements in the quality and speed of IT support services and IT security. Overall, we’ve seen positive changes in response times and a reduction in IT-related issues compared to the prior IT support service.

How did CloudTech24 perform from a project management standpoint?

They deliver on time and have strong communication and support throughout our go-live process. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm the data and technology manager for Container Trades Statistics Ltd., an IT company. We provide comprehensive global container shipping data, offering detailed trade route analytics, customized reports, and market insights to help users understand and track trends in maritime trade.

What challenge were you trying to address with CloudTech24?

We needed to move away from a file server in the cupboard. There was no opportunity to work from home properly, and our incumbent provider was raising prices. We wanted to move to a cloud-based solution and spend less money.

What was the scope of their involvement?

CloudTech24 has replaced our file servers with a Microsoft 365 solution. They've also managed our entire network from configuration to daily support. In addition, they've assisted with PC setup to move from the file server to Microsoft 365.

We started working with them in November 2019, and our engagement is ongoing with telephone support.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've swapped over to Microsoft 365 in a few hours. We've carried on with telephone and email support from them and also engaged them to help us move our infrastructure to our new office. I also use them to bounce ideas off as they have a lot of experience.We've had cost savings and reduced our costs by over 50% initially, but we are now approaching what we paid in 2019. This is due to increased product use and slightly different directions. As an unexpected benefit, when the COVID-19 pandemic started, we were able to move to home working with the minimum fuss.

How did CloudTech24 perform from a project management standpoint?

They deliver on time. The team is very efficient and clearly knows what they're doing. We communicate via email or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They almost always fix the problems the first time and are very approachable.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything. We've had an issue recently that was difficult to establish the cause, but that was a user issue rather than a technology issue.
