I’m an executive at a digital marketing agency that has been around for over 15 years. We specialize in building WordPress websites and take on retained clients, assisting them with everything a small business needs to grow. These services include SEO, PPC, website maintenance and development, email marketing, social media marketing, and print and graphic design.

What challenge were you trying to address with ClixLogix?

We’re a small boutique agency, so we were looking for a partner who could help us with our SEO services. We wanted to work with a trustworthy team so that we could hand them independent work. For example, if we developed a new website, we wanted this team to go in and check all the marks for SEO compliance.

Still, we wanted to work with someone who could work with our internal SEO members and support them. We needed this partner to follow guided plans for our specific strategies and turn around their work quickly as we did SEO audits so that we could quickly pitch and close deals with potential clients.

ClixLogix collaborates with us and supports our SEO services. Their scope includes SEO audits, SEO setups for new websites, and long-term strategy execution. Depending on the project, they also help us with keyword research, develop key terms to focus on, and make recommendations.

If our blogging team needs to develop new content or new pages, ClixLogix collaborates with us on that. Additionally, their team handles our daily tasks related to our monthly strategies. These tasks include developing off-page content, creating a backlinking strategy, and setting up relevant accounts for our customers that could help them grow their digital footprint for SEO purposes.

We work with a dedicated account manager who manages the rest of the team on their end. The size of ClixLogix’s team dedicated to our account has fluctuated depending on the number of clients we have at a time.

They were already working for us when I joined the company.

We pay them between $14–$22 per hour, depending on the work we request from them.

What is the status of this engagement?

I’ve been working with ClixLogix since January 2019. However, I know that my company had already worked with them intermittently before I joined.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

ClixLogix has helped us achieve great SEO results for our customers, allowing us to grow our SEO business. Thanks to their flexibility, they’ve allowed us to gain clients very quickly and ramp up our services when we have high demand. They’re a very affordable solution for me to be able to do SEO audits, helping me close deals with potential customers.

Moreover, ClixLogix has become a valuable partner for us, allowing us to offer great deals to our clients. We can grow or shrink ClixLogix services without impacting our operations, which helps us offer very customized deals to our clients depending on their needs and budget.

How did ClixLogix perform from a project management standpoint?

ClixLogix is great at meeting deadlines and staying on budget. We’ve provided them with incredibly tight deadlines, and they’ve always been able to deliver. I can’t remember a time ClixLogix wasn’t able to hit a deadline.

ClixLogix is very responsive to our recommendations, requests, and desired changes, and they quickly deliver on those. Whenever we see something not being executed as expected, their team is very available to jump on a phone call to review the strategy and ensure everyone is on the same page.

Having a partner with whom we can always connect has been great. In addition to phone calls, we use monday.com for project management and quick and easy communication with our account manager. It’s very easy for us to reach out with questions, concerns, and adjustments needed.

What did you find most impressive about them?

ClixLogix knows what we need, and they’re able to work with minimal oversight. Thanks to them, we’ve been able to show our customers excellent results in SEO, and we’ve been able to focus on other areas of our business, such as PPC.

Are there any areas they could improve?

ClixLogix is very good at reaching out to us to see if we need to schedule meetings. However, It would be good if we had a scheduled phone call. Still, we’re oftentimes busy, and it would be hard for us to make it to some of those meetings. Additionally, ClixLogix communicates with us regularly, and I always have an open communication line to discuss my needs.

Be upfront and clear about your expectations, budget, and deadlines. ClixLogix is more than happy to help you meet your goals and deadlines.

I’m the owner of Future Trucks, a manufacturer and distributor of pickup truck accessories.

Many people in our industry go online to find out what they’re looking for and get a better understanding of the product. However, our listings weren’t showing up. Most of the first and second pages of Google were taken by our competitors.

What was the scope of their involvement?

ClixLogix provided content writing and SEO services. We initially had an onboarding meeting; we provided them with the content we already had on our website, including photos, content reviews, and lists of our products.

ClixLogix helped us get the word out there with two different websites. They created backlinks to improve our site and improved our ranking on Google for some products and keywords.

They were quick to respond if there were issues. Our communication was 100% virtual.

They helped us understand the online system better.

No, I don’t think I’m in a position to answer that.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Pay attention to the details and metrics. Also, ask them as many questions as possible to understand the reports and follow up on the reviews and content they write. Overall, keep a close eye on what they do.

I'm the CEO of Maine Bunk Beds. Our company operates an on-line store that specializes in selling premium-priced, solid wood bunk beds for adults and children. Each custom bunk bed we sell is Made-in-Maine and delivered to customers across North America.

They have a professional management style while maintaining regular contact with us. We can quickly schedule a call if we have a question or issue. Clixlogix is an excellent communicator. 

What did you find most impressive about them? 

Their dedication towards a client and their project is quite impressive. Their managers are genuinely committed to achieving the best possible website performance outcomes.

Are there any areas they could improve? 

Successfully managing our SEO services during economic turbulence and a potential recession is going to be a challenge for Clixlogix during the coming year.

I am the owner of an online fitness challenge company. Our company provides motivational challenges to keep people active by providing them digital and physical incentives.

My company was looking to bring in house our digital tracking platform. In the past we had used other 3rd party applications that never really gave us control of or met our exact needs. It also did not allow us to have any type of competitive advantage over our competitors that may have used the same 3rd party applications.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I selected this vendor because of their proposed experience in this field and felt at the time they had the better understanding of the logics behind tracking participants.

Key deliverable was to be a platform that users can sign up and track their progress on various assigned challenges. The Laravel framework was used to attempt to accomplish this. There is an admin side where challenges can be assigned to users that sign up and on the user side they can keep track of their various activities.

4-5 people worked on this project. Most. I'm not sure what they actually did as the tasks they said they were responsible for never really showed. Also, as soon as I would create a relationship with someone then they would either quit or be moved to a different department I was told.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project did not launch on time. After many setbacks (many from their side being completely unorganized) From not understanding the scope to literally creating their own scope and not listening to myself the customer on how to proceed. Finally we released a partial project on 1/1/22 because someone from their team once again dropped the ball on when it was actually suppose to be delivered by so they scrambled to get something done.

Project management there were no tools used to follow the flow of what was being done. Finally we literally had to sit down and have a meeting prior to the work day starting at 12am my time and then again at 10am to go over what was completed. This was the only way to keep them partially on task.

The ability to make excuses for things not working properly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They could use more skilled programmers. I don't believe the programmers that were used were familiar with the project and had many issues completing some of the tasks without problems.

The team was able to launch the first deliverable on time which was major challenge we had as one of the year-wide virtual challenge was supposed to be launched on the web platform.

I have been able to have a good communication with the current project manager (Rishab) as we have been mutually working on daily deliverable through morning stand-up and a daily day-end update call on teh deliverables which seems to be helping the things moving forward.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I have had a bit of struggle in the beginning but the current communication with the PM has been good. So far, their communication skill set has been impressive, in terms of responsiveness.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

One of the problem that I had was back and forth of the information and misinterpretation of some feature that resulted in difference in understanding. But, the scenario has improved with current PM.

I’m the founder of a software development company focused on mobile applications for Android and iOS.

We hired them to help us continue developing a mobile application we already had.

ClixLogix provides us with development work for an existing mobile application. The team has added features and done some changes using ReactNative, the language the app was originally coded in.

They’ve done a lot of work on the backend, including working with SSL and My PHP. The team has also migrated data across different servers. 

The application is multilayered; it has a map browser, and it can display news and 3D assets. ClixLogix has worked on all levels of the app. 

I work on the concepts and wireframes, send them over to ClixLogix, and we have a back and forth to get as close to the original design as possible.

We usually work with 2–4 people, and the team has changed over the time we’ve been working with ClixLogix.

We found their Upwork profile on Google. I looked through all the available developers, and ClixLogix seemed to have a good command of the language. They were well presented and had good recommendations, which gave me the confidence to move forward with our partnership.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

ClixLogix’s work has been very good. We’ve had three development cycles so far, and the team has successfully completed two phases. I’ve just seen their phase three work, and it looks great. I judge their success based on what I’ve asked for and what they’ve delivered.

When we have minor bugs or glitches, ClixLogix has is very responsive. In those cases, I draw up a list of the specific error, and we work back and forth until they resolve it. 

How did ClixLogix perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is very clear and organized. We have a project lead responsible for making sure the developers carry out their requisite tasks for the week, and everything has gone smoothly.

ClixLogix is also very communicative; we use either email or the Upwork messaging system.

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, things have been delayed. The slower work has been mostly on our side rather than theirs, though.

What did you find most impressive about them?

ClixLogix consistently executes concepts on the first try rather than going back and forth. I’ve worked with other offshore providers in the past, and the ClixLogix team is more responsive than most of our previous partners. Their quality of work is definitely higher, too. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing they could improve that shouts out at me specifically. We’ve solved any issues we’ve had through communication, making sure everything is above board. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Provide a clear picture of what’s required, ensure that all the wireframes are presented logically, and keep things as black and white as possible. That way, there’s less time spent back and forth asking about particulars.

We were tasked with updating an existing website for our client, Argyle Pink Diamonds. We engaged with Clixlogix to handle all web development and programming. The project quickly turned from an update into an overhaul, and Clixlogix jumped in to help us execute it every step of the way.

We searched online for web developers and liked what we found about Clixlogix, and after interviewing them and speaking via phone with the team we were confident they could easily handle the scope of the assignment.

After a phone/Skype briefing and introduction, Clixlogix did a deep dive to review the existing Wordpress site and to understand the tasks. From that point we developed a list of deliverables and a timeline, and had weekly and sometimes daily check-ins to review progress and/or any changes to the assignment.

We wored with a prooject manager, and multiple members of the development and programming team as needed.

Few metrics are consistently observed on this site, but we accomplished the update and overhaul with no disruption of service and an increase in visitors.

We communicated regularly via email and phone and an online workflow management platform. The team was responsive and conscientious and alrted us immediately to any issues that popped up on a daily basis.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are able to adjust to repeated changes in scope to the project and pivot accordingly as needed. They were able to ensure the site worked seamlessly across platforms, and even on unsupported, outdated web browsers that our client insisted on using. They did their best to adjust deliverable timetables despite the many changes.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

As with any new business relationship, we both needed to get used to the working styles of each other but quickly got in sync and worked together as a team to solve all challenges presented by the constant changes thrown our way by our client. We found the key to be clear and regular communication on both sides.

We called upon ClixLogix to support us with web development, both front and backend, to create the first fully functional version/MVP of the WeVoice web platform. We set ourselves up with a horizon of 1 year to reach this goal.

We mainly researched and engaged online with web development services companies. We were mainly looking for speed of mobility to get started, interviews with their resources to get a feel of their quality, skills, experience and the capacity to communicate with one another.

We (as founders) already had the foundational components and architecture set up of WeVoice and were well into development before we brought ClixLogix onboard.

After a proper onboarding for each of their developers (since every developer came onboard gradually over time), they quasi immediately were functional within the team and were working with us full-time on a daily basis. Daily check-ins and daily reports are requested and submitted by the developers as well as their presence in our daily scrums. The developers are mainly asked to work with Vue.js, Nuxt.js, TypeScript, REST API, GraphQL and MongoDB.

The account managers/management staff following up on is doing a good job to stay connected and make sure all is well on a regular basis. All involved people have joined our Slack and engage properly with us there. Any kind of issue or topic is properly and timely addressed and discussed in a respectful manner. With the developers we have daily standups as a routine (as mentioned previously).

Their willingness to stay connected with us is impressive, given the substantial time difference between us. Both the developers as well as management have gone the extra mile for us.

We hired clixlogics for mobile app Developement. Our original goal was to have the product done in 4 months, which is the time clixlogics forecast the app to take

They appeared to put kore thought into the forecasting of the project. They gave the longest estimate of the effort required.

Instead of taking 4 months to develop, we are now approaching 20 months. There is a huge differential, due to complications on our side and also due to inefficiencies working with ClixLogix.

Originally we were using their management tools. As the project has continued on, we have moved them over to our management tools instead. Our current interaction is primarily directly with the developers with a small amount of interaction with management.

Better care taken up front to understand the scope of the application.
