The scope of Cliqbird's engagement was defined by a meticulous creation of a targeted list of potential prospects, tailored to our specific Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and target market. This compilation formed the basis for a series of highly effective outbound email campaigns orchestrated by Cliqbird. These campaigns successfully initiated interactions with potential clients and paved the way for preliminary meetings. 

In addition, Cliqbird played a crucial role in providing valuable insights and actively contributed to the refinement of our Upwork funnel development. Their consistent overachievement of our monthly meeting targets went above and beyond our initial expectations.

Cliqbird was able to come up with a reasonable campaign strategy and execute on it. We wanted to test a few approaches which they were able to adapt as we communicated our requirements.

We had a weekly video call with the project manager and they a couple of synchs with the content writer and the deliverability expert to agree on the specifics of the campaign. These ways-of-working were quite effective.

Privyet.ru is Russia's largest marketplace for personalized videos from creators, celebrities, and athletes. We help creators in Russia and the CIS region connect with their fans and monetize on these super personal and memorable interactions. We are on a mission to change how we connect with creators.

Privyet.ru is a Swedish-owned company with a Russian legal entity and the Swedish/Serbian co-founders are experienced international online business leaders from McKinsey & Co, Parfym.se, and Bikroy.com (Kinnevik). We currently have more than 300 creators and have delivered over 1,000 personal videos to fans, within the first 4 months of operations.

Cliqbird reached out to 1 000 celebrities per month to try to onboard them. We used AmoCRM as a tool to manage the pipeline. They called, emailed, whatsapped, and used telegram to contact the celebrities.

We worked together with Alina and Vik. We had weekly meetings where we reviewed progress, problems and plans.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the service?

Cliqbird was able to onboard 30+ celebrities to the platform so that we could get started. I'd be happy to work with them again.

We got over 30 potential leads with whom we're working at the moment, which was beyond our expectations. We were overwhelmed by the amount of publishers wanting to contact us after Cliqbird did their job.

We had daily updates on the new leads and replies by the team and frequent calls to catch up. The whole process felt very connected and smooth.

During the pandemic we wanted to develop and grow our online experiences for businesses (as team activities). That meant we moved from a B2C model to a B2B model, which was new to us. We hired Cliqbird to take care of the research (what companies/people/roles to reach out to) and the first step of the cold outreach (email sequences to get a call appointment scheduled)

We found several vendors through Upwork. There we made a first selection based on reviews. Then we did 2 rounds of calls for final selection. We picked Cliqbird for their expertise, flexibility and pricing.

After the discovery meeting we shared the first data based on our own findings in the business development process (what clients/companies/roles worked so far and what is our product about). Cliqbird helped to create an ICP and started to generate the first lead lists right away. Also they provided full support in the copy (in English) of the emails. A couple of rounds where needed where we provided feedback to copy and lead list and after that we could start really fast.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Initially we say moderate open rates of the emails, which resulted in Cliqbird taking quick action and adjusting strategy. From there the open rates went up. The reply rates were still fairly low which we expected because we were offering a new product category in the market. Cliqbird was very flexible and kept supporting the project within the same budget even though we went way over the initial 1 month project time. They even expanded the scope on their own cost to help increasing our success rates.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Cliqbird were not able to deliver and we actually had to stop the project due to brand damage as they were emailing competitors, clothing stores, people based around the world outside of the UK, sending email headings which were spam titles etc with our brand and name attached.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We used slack and communication was regular but as we stopped the project clearly not successful.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We canceled our project due to the brand damage they caused.

I think they have potential but their Quality Assurance on their deliverables and activities were not good enough.

We’ve had a positive outcome, with Cliqbird delivering above and beyond their commitment. We identified and narrowed down our target market and established a sales pipeline, CRM, and lead nurturing system.

We’ve had a smooth collaboration so far. Our assigned SDR is available any time we need to correct our templates or include more info in our emails. He always wants to learn more about our product to improve his appointment scheduling process. We have weekly checkpoint calls to discuss Cliqbird results and plan the coming week.

Their enthusiasm to provide a service and get results is evident. They take a personal interest in our company and want to do their best. That’s always important to me as an employer. The results up to this point indicate that the model works. They’re unique in that their program is scalable. As we expand into new business areas, we can increase our relationship with Cliqbird to continually generate new leads and appointments.

Cliqbird Inc. primary output is appointment generation. They manage the entire processing of setting up meetings. They first put together a list of prospectuses for my company and booked meetings with the ones that matched our ICP. They managed all of our calendars, including rescheduling requests and cancellations. The team is also responsible for updating our Pipedrive database, either directly or through spreadsheets.

We’re able to give them large sets of leads, and they’ll qualify them to figure out which companies fit our criteria based on our ideal customer profile (ICP). They used internal automation tools to reach out to prospects on our behalf. They use various channels—email, phone, and LinkedIn for the most part—and have in-house copywriters who craft the messages. We did have to onboard the team at the beginning, but now they can rely on their own templates. Vik (CRO) is our primary business point of contact. He manages contract renewals and other administrative tasks.

Stan manages all of their accounts, but we also have a day-to-day sales development manager who’s dedicated to our project.

With those two team members, as well as our dedicated researcher, we have a team of three individuals working for us. Stas (CEO) is also involved, and I can bring him in at any time.

We were pretty happy with the results of the campaigns. We were able to secure the number of verified opportunities we haven't expected.

The communication, reporting, and especially their speed are fantastic. We had never been able to secure the lists of 10k+ verified leads' lists before.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I would say that the speed of work and being quite flexible to the needs of their clients. Even on the weekends, we were able to communicate with them and request some work being done. One of the tasks was setting up offline meetings in particular geography and we were stunned by the result in around a week's time.

There was some back and forth regarding the tone of voice our company is using and aligning with it. But eventually, we were able to get to the point we were satisfied with.
