Unlisted Valuations
Unlisted Ltd had an idea and an AI-powered 'black box' that provided the company valuations but had no way of delivering this to end users in an intuitive and engaging web interface. ClearSky came in with our Dedicated Tech Team with a range of specialist skills, including Project Management, UI/UX design, software architecture, front-end development, back-end development and system testing.
What started as just an idea became a fully-working Minimal Viable Product (MVP) prototype that paying clients could use as a means for accelerating and streamlining their own Company valuations projects. Unlisted Ltd. could also use this as a means to create publicity and a compelling narrative around successive rounds of investment.

MyBookingHub
Back in 2019 we stumbled across a significant problem which impacts multiple mobile workforce businesses, working with one of our clients we developed our first SaaS platform.
The problem we were looking to solve within the mobile workforce related industries was to remove the back and forth for booking service these types of service. The current in the market was of doing this involves lots of contact forms and phone calls for a customer to arrange a service to their home.
Whether the service be domestic cleaning, car valeting, garden maintenance or field service related MyBookingHub clients to automate 99% of their customer bookings and fit in at least one extra appointment, per employee, every day using our advanced booking/resource allocation algorithm.
The result has been incredible with our pilot client Fresh Car Valeting powered by MyBookingHub expanding across the UK, customers having a fantastic digital service and the underlying business becoming more profitable.

URocked
URocked are a fast-growing tech company on a mission to enable cashless tips to be taken across multiple sectors. They have a fantastic brand and are passionate about providing a frictionless experience to their end users. Early on in the product development, they had outsourced their MVP development of the platform to another supplier which was a good first step but they weren't the right partner to take URocked to the next level. They wanted a long-term tech partner which could help them think, bring expertise in both product development and how to deliver with quality. In addition they were looking for a partner which could get involved at board level and assist in future financial raises.
URocked engaged with ClearSky Logic in January 2022. Having their MVP product and an immediate requirement for their Team Tips (TT) functionality to be completed in time to showcase at the Hotel, Restaurant & Catering event in March 2022.
With a short turnaround needed our team got set up quickly, getting to know the product and understanding the key features of TT through UX & Design. We decided to assign a delivery deadline pre-event to allow for proper UAT to be carried out. While building we deployed consistently to the UAT environment, which provided URocked with visibility & confidence in the functionality on the leadup to their event.
Completion pre-event meant URocked’s team could focus on their presentation & pitch, not having to worry about whether the feature would actually be available to them on time and in a stable state.

I'm the co-founder and CTO of Gigged.ai, a digital sourcing platform.
What challenge were you trying to address with ClearSky Logic?
We built an MVP, which led us to the market. We didn’t have the necessary technical resources in-house, so we needed a company that could help me build the complete platform from the ground up.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We hired ClearSky Logic to create the full version of our MVP, which involves taking what I’ve built and rebuilding it to make it more scalable and enterprise-ready. They're using the Azure Suite for hosting, and the platform has a .NET Framework with a React frontend.

ClearSky Logic has built and delivered what we initially agreed on, and we’ve since decided on additional features to implement. Everything’s working perfectly, and we’re now able to sell our product.
How did ClearSky Logic perform from a project management standpoint?
ClearSky Logic has performed well in terms of project management. They use DevOps for project management and Slack for communication.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m impressed with ClearSky Logic’s technical capabilities. I also appreciate how nice and easy it is to work with them.

Having a hybrid approach where the in-house developers work closely with the ClearSky Logic team is a good idea.

I'm the founder of Ittria.
For what projects/services did your company hire ClearSky Logic, and what were your goals?
When the company was purchased we inherited systems that had not been improved for some years and were in need of a strategy to bring together the functionality of the various systems into a new platform that could not only ingest data from various sources but also deliver the original functionality as well as a host of new functions.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Having worked with the team at ClearSky in the past we know their capabilities and had already developed a great working relationship which made the decision that much easier. We even looked at building our own team but opted for the expertise and flexibility that working with ClearSky brings in addition to the quality of the development team.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
They designed a modular platform that allows the company to take in data from a variety of sources and puts into a single format for use by the various applications. Each application could then be built on top of that core platform as and when the company had the budget to do so. This allowed for incremental improvements rather than making a bet on one big solution.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
In total about 4 people worked on the project which is ongoing.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We've been able to automate the transfer of data from our sales channel which greatly reduces errors but most importantly ensures data is sent regularly - a key change given the impact of Covid on staffing levels at our sales channel partners. As data equates to revenue for the company this is a key change to the business risks but also is an opportunity as it differentiates us from our competitors.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
PM has been great using the normal tools such as Jira and Trello. Along with the team being there to manage any exceptional items.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The ability to increase and decrease the resource requirements as budget and internal team resource allowed. It's refreshing to have the outcomes as expected from the briefing process.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Actually it's our company that could have done a better job of managing budgets so that progress wasn't delayed by lack of budget.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and founder of a mobile car care company.
What challenge were you trying to address with ClearSky Logic?
We were addressing a really large, fragmented market with tens of thousands of operators who struggle to manage their marketing, bookings, and other processes like that. We have a platform that acquires customers for our clients and help them retain those clients. Our job is also to build technology that automates processes.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’ve done multiple projects with ClearSky: they developed our backend workflow system, an algorithm to automate. In total, there have been 4–5 major projects over the course of a couple of years.
One of our specific projects was a mobile application for iOS and Android. This app allows customers to book appointments, select different services, and cancel and reschedule appointments. They can also add different cards and addresses to their profile.
We were clear in our brief, and they stuck to our budget. We’d already created wireframes for the app — it’s both a mobile app and a web app. There was a lot of back and forth to agree on the requirements. Their work on the app was done in React Native.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with around 10 people, including their founder, a couple of project managers, and developers of various levels.
How did you come to work with ClearSky Logic?
We really liked their modern development practices; they’re quite a progressive company. Just like us, they were interested in a long-term relationship and seemed to have integrity. I trusted them with our business.

We’ve spent about £150,000 in total with them (approximately $173,000 USD).

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Clear Sky has made a major impact on our business. They know what they’re doing, and they deliver exactly the way we ask for them to do — without compromising the quality of the work they do and the fact that they're genuinely committed to the project
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We were looking at measures like customer acquisition costs, retention, cohort analysis, and lifetime value of customers. One of my favorite metrics is how many support team members we need in the office per thousand booking.
They’ve improved our customers’ experience as well. They really enjoy not having to call to cancel or reschedule their appointments.
How did ClearSky Logic perform from a project management standpoint?
We speak every week and can call them anytime. Slack supports our communication, as well as Excel sheets and Word documents.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their ability to accomplish tasks with a straightforward process stands out. My expectations of working with technology development companies is that the project will be difficult, but this has been very smooth.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything specifically.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
It’s important to have one person in the management position. You can’t outsource this to someone else. Other than that, ClearSky will take care of the rest.
