For what projects/services did your company hire CLARISION?

We hired Clarision to develop the iOS & Android based mobile applications for our very successful Healthcare based product, oeHealth.

What were your goals for this project?

We have developed our application in an ERP platform before 5 years and selling that product on our website directly. We have received very positive responses from our client and most of them have requested for the mobile versions of the product. Hence, we decided to go for mobile application development of our system.

How did you select this vendor?

We have searched many mobile apps development companies in our region and out of all of them, we chose Clarision as they were very proactive in response and shown the same passion towards our product.

Describe the project in detail.

A leading ERP based health solutions application that can help to manage various operations of any type of health center organization. Our goal was to give our users the ability to access the most important features of our system on their mobile phones.

Clarision has started with providing intuitive designs for our application and followed by the full development and API integration process. The final application was exactly up to our expectations.

What was the team composition?

We have been assigned a dedicated project manager and 4 developers team who worked with us from the start of the design phase up to the final delivery of the applications.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have successfully launched our Android version and now working on the final release of the iOS version to launch this month. The Android version is starting to gain a positive response from our existing client base.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They were always very responsive towards all the communication of the project. The project manager helped us many times to lead us with the correct way of implementing our expected features.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We are very impressed with their dedication and passion for our system. Its never easy to adapt the flow of already available systems and then provides the development consultancy to achieve the client's expectations. They were excellent in all the departments.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Clarision needs to improve their QA process a little bit. Apart from that I don't find any other reason.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder and director of LanteOTC, an online investment platform based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with CLARISION?

We needed technical help to develop an efficient, custom, world-class website for our event. We couldn’t find a credible developer who could do that for us in record time.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They used Joomla! and PHP to develop our website. They also customized multiple plug-ins that we’d put together. There’s a payment gateway and booking features on the website’s events section. It’s a highly complicated platform, but they’ve made it adaptable. We can go in the backend and upload videos and pictures, as well as update the website’s text content. It’s flexible, so we don’t have to ask them to make these adjustments.

CLARISION makes iterations for free sometimes because they understand that we’re a startup with a limited budget. We did the initial project to get our minimum viable product (MVP) on the market, which required client consent. There are now continuous iterations and they’ve been very cooperative in helping us.

How did you come to work with CLARISION?

We needed somebody to understand, digest, and simplify the platform so that it was accessible to the end user. We considered cost, service, and timeframes when looking for a company.

A developer we’d previously worked with recommended them. CLARISION was more suitable to help us reach our goals. We flew in to interview them and found their communication to be good. They even offered to do the work before we could actually pay them. They were willing to take on the risk because they knew they could do the job. The agreement was that if they didn’t fulfill our needs, then we didn’t have to pay.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2017 and the relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our event sold out and we’ve generated revenue as a result of the website. Now, we’re thinking of making the event annual and using it for marketing.

How did CLARISION perform from a project management standpoint?

We interact with them via Skype, WhatsApp, and email. They’re very efficient and manage our expectations by giving us timelines with detailed targets. They also share screens with us to show us exactly what they’re doing. They’ve always sought permission from us before putting things online.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One of the things I like about working with them is their ability to conduct research independently. For example, they looked at currencies and the target market when working on the payment gateway. They’re willing to explore and conduct the research necessary to come up with recommendations. They offer a lot of senior wisdom due to having worked with various companies. They’re in an incredible position to give advice on certain aspects of development or websites.

Their communication and customer service are exceptional. They’re always available. They don’t charge us extra for smaller add-ons, regardless of if they get the work right or wrong. They’re more worried about giving world-class services than budget increases.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We haven’t identified any issues.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re talented, creative, and resourceful developers who have you in mind when it comes to cost, quality, and time. I recommend you use them.
