Please describe your company and your position there.

We are one of Asia's best executive search firm with consultants working remotely and based in the Philippines. I am heading the firm's international relations and overall in-charge of overseas consultants.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Circa Logica Group?

Due to an increase in client base in the Philippines, we have decided to hire 24 consultants based in the Philippines. We needed everyone t to be on the same page and have intensive corporate training on effective recruitment strategies and laws on recruitment practices in the Philippines.

What were your goals for this engagement?

To introduce the consultants to one another, share best practices, create strategic action plans and align with the goals and objectives of our company while understanding local practices.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

A significant part of our research was made through Clutch. As we wanted to tap the best for our consultants, we've reached out to 6 providers, requested quotations to understand the scope of services and facilitator profile. Most provided a quote right away except for Circa Logica Group who had us accomplished a Training Needs Analysis document.

We were impressed with the intention and felt genuine support to help us achieve our goals rather than just providing training for the sake of it. This strategy, together with an impressive portfolio, facilitator profile and reasonable learning investment made our team selected Circa Logica Group as our provider.

Describe the engagement in detail.

It was two full-day intensive training and workshop on recruitment strategies and Philippine laws involving sourcing and recruitment of talent s in the Philippines. As we are in Singapore, it was close to impossible to manage and overlook the training and we had to relay to Circa Logica Group for the effective execution of the workshop. They have also provided comprehensive training materials, venue, food based on our consultants' diet restrictions.

What was the team composition?

We were initially in discussion with someone in Sales who in turn forwarded us to their Corporate Training Team for the Training Needs Analysis and understanding of the requirement. During the engagement, there was a lead facilitator and two co-facilitators assisting since the workshop was heavy of activities.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Our consultants were very happy and satisfied with the overall execution of the workshop. We have extended feedback forms measuring the food, training effectiveness, timeline of topics, conduciveness of training area, and facilitators' expertise; we've received perfect responses from everyone. We are happy to have selected Circa Logica Group for this task and we wanted to endorse all training programs to them in the future.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was initially a one-time engagement. We have received swift responses addressing our inquiries.

What did you find most impressive about this vendor?

Circa Logica Group wants to fully understand the requirement by measuring the current capability and knowledge of our consultants combined with our overall goal versus other vendors providing boxed training programs that may have worked with their clients but may not necessarily work for us. Circa Logica Group treats each transaction uniquely and understands even the smallest of our requirements.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Circa Logica Group is an expert in this field. We were happy to select them through Clutch. We cannot identify areas that can be improved as it was seamless and perfect.

We partner with Circa Logica Group availing of three of their solutions: Business Registration, Start-up HR Management, and Headhunting

What were your goals for this project?

We are expanding our presence in the South East Asia market and wanted to establish a satellite office in the Philippines. As we have zero background in the federal laws in the Philippines, we needed help from experienced organizations.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Initially via Google Search. We came up with 3 vendors across the Philippines, Circa Logica Group is one of them. We conducted a meeting with all 3 vendors via Zoom.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

For Business Registration, this entails starting a legally-registered company from scratch, i.e. corporate name registration including the logistical and tax requirements and federal clearances and permits needed to operate.

For Headhunting, finding the right people for the right role. Circa Logica was very detail oriented on this that we’ve never work with a vendor with such passion on what they do. We were able to hire top talents as General Manager, Finance Manager, Sales Manager, and HR Manager.

For Start-up HR Management, ensuring that this new company complies with local and state laws in the Philippines including creation of legal documents and policies, starting up the payroll system, and disciplinary process.

What was the team composition?

From Circa Logica Group, we were assigned with an Account Manager, a Lead Recruiter with some 8-12 recruiters, and a Senior HR Consultant with a Junior Consultant for our requirements. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were projecting the whole project to take 90 days but we were surprised when we’re 75% complete after 30 days. The whole engagement lasted for exactly 81 days which was terrific.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. The assigned account manager sure knows what she is doing and address any possible concerns even before they arrive.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Its attention to detail, approachability, and being results-oriented stood out.
