What challenge were you trying to address with Cinepro Studios | A Creative Agency?

We reach out to people who need substance use disorder treatment services. Cinepro Studios works with us on a variety of projects to influence those populations. Our goal is to motivate individuals to seek treatment.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Cinepro Studios assisted our efforts by offering their video production services. We had an initial meeting with Dusty (Owner, Cinepro Studios) where we talked about the project’s goals and concept. He communicated his interpretation and started the creative process. Then, he sent us a suggested script with design ideas for visual elements. Our teams sent those deliverables back and forth until we had a polished product.

For each shoot, Dusty takes care of the scheduling and production dates. After filming, Cinepro Studios works with me to edit the footage into a rough cut. They submit additional iterations for me to review, and that process continues until we agree on a final version.

I want to highlight the work they’ve done with us to help out one of our not-for-profit providers. The primary deliverable for that project was a two-minute testimonial video. They hired two actors to tell a story about the impact felt by the families of drug abuse victims. Their creative approach to that project captivated audiences.

A similar project with that same organization required Cinepro Studios to interview three women for their real-life testimonials. They spoke about their experience and tried to motivate others to seek help. We also worked with Cinepro Studios to develop online video advertisements and short documentary-style films.

Dusty (Owner, Cinepro Studios) is our primary point of contact. I’ve also worked with creative resources and members of their production team.

How did you come to work with Cinepro Studios | A Creative Agency?

We initially worked with them as part of a small grant we’d received. They were referred to me by one of my co-workers. Most of them were fresh out of school at the time, so we decided to give them a shot. Not only were they affordable, but we wanted people with a fresh perspective.

We’ve spent roughly $10,000–$50,000.

We started working together in 2010, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Aside from new interactions on social media, we've had several providers in our network comment on what that they've seen and how much they loved it. We’re happy to refer CinePro Studios as reliable production firm. We’ve enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship with them.

We communicate by phone, email, and in-person meetings. Dusty keeps each project organized and on schedule.

I'm a marketing director at VintageView. We manufacture contemporary wine racks.

What challenge were you trying to address with Cinepro Studios?

We wanted to show off our product and the installation process to our potential customers. We were looking for a vendor to help us produce videos.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Cinepro Studios produced three types of videos for us. There are many videos under each type and they range from 30 seconds to three minutes in length. The target audience is very wide and ranges from people who install wine racks themselves to contractors who work on installation. 

Our sizzle reels are essentially moving photos that show our wine racks from different angles. We also do about half a dozen project videos a year, where they go to a restaurant or a home and film wine cellars from all angles. These videos have been very valuable in creating meaningful content and showing people how simple wine racks can turn into a cool wine cellar.

Dusty and I have worked together in various iterations of each other's businesses for almost a decade, so I knew they'd do a great job.

The project started in 2016 and the relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our business has been growing and the videos have been very helpful in our e-commerce environment. When our customers click on the listings, they can see photos and a 30-second video of the actual product, which gives them a better idea of what the product looks like. The videos have been also valuable in showcasing our brand.

How did Cinepro Studios perform from a project management standpoint?

They know what we expect to see in videos, so we understand each other's needs very well. We've worked together for so long that the project management has evolved to fit the unique way we do business with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The way we're presented to the client is very important to us because we often have repeat customers. I've been able to send Cinepro Studios to various sites where they represented us without any supervision. I've heard nothing but amazing things about them. Their professionalism exceeded all expectations.

I can't think of anything.

If you get a chance, go out to coffee with Dusty and his team. Your partnership will benefit if you get to know them a bit better. They're very efficient and can create a perfect workflow for you.
