We had a big plate on our hands. We needed an agency that would work both as a true business consultant, a local partner/voice and also a bunch of people who can come together and help us launch a one-of-a-kind type of product in Latam.

After a 2 month long pitching the conclusion was simple: we were windblown by the mix we saw: awesome team coordination, chemistry, willingness to "change tomorrow by creating today", and constant support, all at a global level with global business understanding.

If you want BIG, they deliver BIGGER.

After 20 years in the global advertising market, I can truly say they rival and easily overcome most big networks.  The onboarding took one week (yes, they catch up that quickly), and we always had "Yes of course we can do that but what do you think of this "X" (where the X was always better)"? We had nothing, just a product that needed to go to market. 

Oh and you know what? Even when our technical team had setbacks they were still there. Even when our product caused delays, they were still there. And it is that very aspect, the human side of any business that connects us to our partners and enables me to stay in front of everyone and applaud them.

I cannot offer the entire SOW since as of today our product is still one of a kind however I will gladly share or answer any enquiry upon direct request.

Delivery time, quality and quantity, always add value, from the smallest copy to the largest proposals, you know how you can easily get used to  "better"? well, this is where we are sitting now. Every (and I mean EVERY) delivery had something extra under "hey, this might work as well with that KPI".

As you can imagine, the deliverables were vast. And they all had a 100% delivery sooner than the deadlines. It didn't matter what had to be delivered, it always came sooner. 

All our needs are met with a proper business understanding. This is the effect of working with professionals.

The work involved creating and implementing digital marketing strategies to promote the visibility and online engagement of MarketPlace Mercado de Luxo covering two key areas: Google and Meta ad campaigns and search engine optimization (SEO).

• The main objective in Google ad campaigns is to increase qualified traffic to our website and, in the future, conversions.
• Selection of relevant keywords with high conversion potential to target our ads.
• Result: We recorded a significant increase in website traffic.
• Comprehensive Keyword Analysis to identify organic ranking opportunities and target our content.
• On-page optimization, optimizing key elements on our website, such as titles, meta descriptions, header tags and content, to improve relevance and visibility in search engines.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm a corporate marketing assistant manager for a life insurance company based in Puerto Rico, with insurance companies in Panama and Curaçao. I oversee marketing strategies and how we target our audience towards our products.

What challenge were you trying to address with Chili Digital?

Our main goal was to position our website on Google and other search engines in the Puerto Rico and Panama markets. Since we didn't have the ranking position we wanted, we started working on strategies that included writing blogs and using keywords.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Chili Digital is responsible for our SEO strategy. First, the team learned about our company and audience. Based on that, Chili Digital created a proposal and suggested keywords to lean on when following the SEO strategy. The team has provided a strategy with a duration of at least six months because we can't change the targeted keywords often according to their suggestions. 

Additionally, Chili Digital writes and publishes 5–8 blog posts on our website per month according to our targets. The team writes blog articles related to specific products and adjusts topics to our necessities. The team asks many questions and requests our authorization before publishing each blog, and our team reviews it to ensure the information is correct. 

Lastly, Chili Digital supports restructuring our website and making design suggestions to improve the UI/UX according to the SEO and positioning strategy in order to be more visible and for content to perform well. 

What is the team composition?

We work steadily with three teammates from Chili Digital, including Karla (Sales Manager) and Vanesa (SEO Analyst), who reviews the reports. Karla structures strategies and ensures our requests are met. Chili Digital has a bigger team working on our project because 5–6 people are involved in our email communication.  

How did you come to work with Chili Digital?

I was evaluating our necessities with my company's corporate marketing manager, and SEO resonated a lot with us. We learned that SEO is a strategy and started looking for service providers. We found that Chili Digital has teammates working in Panama, although they're based in Brazil. We contacted the team and asked for estimates for this project.
How much have you invested with them?

We spend around $2,500 monthly.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Chili Digital in February 2024, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our Google rankings have increased, and Chili Digital has surpassed our targets. Our strategy started with 23 targeted keywords, and 22 have a good ranking position on the first page of results. Our strategy is moving quicker than we thought; we had planned to keep these keywords longer but will move to other keywords soon. Thanks to Chili Digital's strategy, we've achieved the results we wished for through a steady and consistent process. We're happy with their work. 

The team has helped us evolve and create compatible and reachable content for our future clients. Chili Digital's preparedness and knowledge in the SEO field are amazing. Whenever I have a question, the team knows how to answer it, and if the teammate I need isn't available, Chili Digital always gets back to me. The team is diligent and consistent in their work and comes with us with prepared content. 

How did Chili Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

We have biweekly meetings through Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, where we follow up with Chili Digital regarding the blog posts we have planned for the next months and review the monthly reports on how our keywords are positioned. In these meetings, we review the strategy's results and analyze whether we have to make any changes considering our new products. Chili Digital is organized and has a really good structure for working with their clients. 

Chili Digital consistently follows up and demonstrates excellent organization and communication skills. The team is diligent about monthly and trimester reports. Chili Digital is structured when they approach us and try to learn more about our company. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We have a big time difference with Chili Digital, but the team has adjusted and worked well to ensure we're on the same page. The team is consistent and transparent on how we can improve our SEO, and I hope Chili Digital stays that way because they're SEO experts. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of any areas for improvement for Chili Digital.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I totally recommend working with Chili Digital. The team engages with clients and ensures good results. Chili Digital doesn't follow the script of why clients hire them. Instead, the team goes above and beyond to try to offer the best recommendations. Based on my experience, Chili Digital is the go-to team for any client looking for SEO services.
