We needed a firm to help us with staff augmentation in order to meet the deliverables we have for several clients. We have used CFT Consulting on several occasions for staff augmentation and project based work.
How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?
We choose this agency based on their commitment to meet our timelines and the quick understanding of what we were looking to get accomplished against tight timelines.

They have provided us several different resources for a handful of our most critical projects. One project involved the need for 2 Golang developers for a website project we were awarded. CFT provided the resources to help augment our business analysts and project managers to ensure we could meet the deliverables and tight timelines of our client.
In another instance, CFT Consulting provided us WordPress / PHP / Java developers for an ecommerce based website for one of our clients located on the US East Coast.

We discussed our requirements with the CFT Consulting engagement manager. Once we were clear as a team as to what the delivery commitments and timelines were, they presented us several candidates to talk with and ensure they were a right fit. At this point we have worked with CFT Consulting and their engagement manager enough that they are very responsive and proactive when it comes to providing the appropriate resource to ensure our joint success.
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
We have had several successful projects with our clients when using staff augmentation services from CFT consulting. We are currently negotiating a managed services agreement with one client where resources from CFT Consulting will be key to us being able to deliver those services starting in 2022.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow between our team and theirs was efficient. We used a combination of email, phone calls, and MS Teams meetings to ensure that everyone was on the same page. When there were issues, they team was quick to respond and address.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
CFT Consulting is able to provide reliable and timely service at a reasonable price. They are flexible and able to quickly grasp what the details of the project. They ensure that the right resources are assigned to get the project completed. They also seem to have a unique ability to secure talent for projects that involve emerging technologies such as Golang.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Given the current global pandemic and they challenges that the pandemic has presented we have not encountered many challenges. One item that we ensure we do is to ensure all requirements are documented and understood by the team. Documented requirements are key to success.

We started with three sales development representatives. After three months, we added two more.

We found them through a Google search. We found that they are professional and have the expertise to help businesses expand into multiple regions. Not only that, but we also had some references taken from them, and everyone said they were focused on the quality and achievement of the target. They also said that whatever is promised, they deliver.

What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in July 2020, and we still use their services.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We told CFT Consulting the number of demos we wanted on a monthly basis. We had a target of around 50% increase that we were expecting. After we did a back-calculation, we realized that we are within the range we wanted. On a monthly basis, not only do they achieve the target, but they go beyond it. Their communication and target achievement are always a 10.
How did CFT Consulting perform from a project management standpoint?
CFT Consulting’s project management is very good. They’re transparent with any communication. For example, if they are going to miss a deadline, they inform us. We provide them the database to call on — they’re very proactive in coming back to us and telling us that the database would last for another 4–5 days, and we’d want additional data. That proactiveness and transparency are what we love about them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
What I like best about CFT Consulting is their transparency. The first month, we gave them proper training. We made them familiar with the expectations we had in terms of reporting or target achievements. From the second month onward, they have been on track.

There’s nothing I’d have them improve.

They’re very open to understanding the expectations of their customer. At the start, be clear about what you expect, so they can plan accordingly.

We hired one of their remote recruiters who served as an extension of our team. We would provide them with the required positions, whether it was a Salesforce, DevOps, or Cloud engineer. The team would work on different job portals, such as Dice, Monster, or CareerBuilder. Afterward, they would send us solid candidates who we would then forward to our clients.

Their quality makes them stand out. I don’t feel like they’re an extended team; I feel like I’m working with my own team. CFT Consulting works very closely with us and puts 100% effort in order to achieve their targets. They’ve always met their targets.

Their callers provide coverage cross all time zones in US & acrodd diverse industries. They were able to research their own leads in addition to the database provided by us.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
We mainly worked with their Project Manager who used to manage their calling team. Sometimes we used to directly interact with the Calling team members during internal reviews. The feedback process was quite efficient & corrective actions where required were quickly implemented.

They always exceeded the quota of Appointments agreed with them for each month.

We had a system of daily reports from the callers as well as a weekly review meeting, generally on Fridays. Course correction where needed was quickly implemented.
