A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work at PwC on the creative team, more specifically within the operation vertical of the team. I’m supporting the rest of the creative team with their various campaigns.
What challenge were you trying to address with Ceremium?
It was kind of an overwhelming project, because at PwC, we have experts in all sorts of fields. A couple of examples have to do with our global mining site and our global health care site. We used Ceremium to implement data tools.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Ceremium was essentially the in between for the partner and our creative account management team. They were working on data tools, essentially finding a way to extract the knowledge the partner had about global mining or health care, and putting it into a usable data tool.
Their methodology was very methodical and easy to follow. They took us through the initial brief, to black and white wireframes, to a full mockup, all in very incremental steps.
What is the team composition?
At that time, we worked with 1-3 people. Mark (Director) was our main point of contact.
How did you come to work with Ceremium?
Mark was a former colleague of mine, and one of the sharpest people I’d ever worked with. When I heard he started his own company, I reached out to him and sure enough, he was able to pitch in on these projects.
How much have you invested with them?
The global mining tool was around $20,000, and the global health care tool was about $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project took place in May 2013.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our partner being happy is a great success metric. Beyond that, we tracked metrics online, and the engagement was off the charts with both of those products. Specifically with the global health care initiative, we went from having zero visibility to being one of the top search results on Google.
How did Ceremium perform from a project management standpoint?
Mark is one of the best communicators I’ve ever worked with. Project management was excellent: he uses the best in class tools, like Jira and others. He’s very organized, so when he gives you an update, it’s very clear what’s happening and what your responsibilities are to keep the project moving. He’s someone I lean on to understand how to manage projects better.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Ceremium is very technically skilled, and they can implement pretty much anything. They’re also really able to connect to what the needs of the business are. That’s what makes them impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They work pretty efficiently. I don’t have much they could improve on.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They work out of the UK, so timezone might be a consideration depending on where you are.
With the tools leading to an increase in engagement, Ceremium’s work left all stakeholders satisfied, including the firm’s partners. The project was excellently managed, making for an organized, professional, and successful engagement. Clients can expect a knowledgeable, effective partner.
