We created an application that facilitates organizing and monitoring student traveling groups. This application was created in order to keep track of the students traveling and the activities they attend to.
The bracelets are assigned to each student, with the information previously loaded in their profile.
They can keep track of all the activities and the attendants. Moreover, if the student is feeling under the weather or has been involved in any kind of accident, by reading their bracelet the doctor gets immediate access to the student’s medical information.
The application keeps a list of students their information and the groups.
On the other side, the parents fill in a form with sensitive medical and personal information that is saved in the system, and can only be seen by doctors if need be.
Each student will be given a bracelet that has his personal information paired to it. The coordinators and trip leaders will have a cellphone that can read them.
Users can have all the passenger information with only a bracelet scan!
At the end of the day the leaders will know who went to the activities and who skipped them. Gathering all this information they will able to validate the performance of each day, and the trip.

I am the cofounder of RCD. RCD is company created to recycle construction waste in an environmentally friendly cycle. We are keen on repurposing specially the outcome from building demolitions, the debris and rubbles. From them we create different base products that can be used in many ways.

We needed to re-design out website and create some sort of administrator to organize the clients questions, requests and orders. We had everything sorted out as for the company, but it was all very old school. We had to be more out there in order to sell more, to show our recycling process and to tell people how and where they could use what we produced and the services that we provided.

First of all we wanted to have a better image, with this came social media and the lading page. Then we wanted to have an interesting way to show our recycling process and why it was so important to do it.
Also we thought it was important to tell our story, how the company came about and how we were working now a days. the suggested that we showcased some successful stories, and some ended projects so that potential clients could see how they could hire us, or what to buy the products for.

We looked at different local companies, we thought it was important to support national business as it aligns to our ideals. We came across cavepot and ha a meeting with them, we were immediately amazed by their sensibility and skills. They we very helpful and advice giving even before we hire them. This showed us how engaging and accessible they were. On top of that the price they gave us fit our budget and we liked the work process and team they suggested.

They provided everything from, consulting, design, web developing and support.
What was the team composition?
The team they put up with was great! we had a lead designer and a computer engineer working together daily. As the project progressed we had occasional meetings with other engineers of the company to discuss and find better solution to things we needed. I thought this was great, having other people help us and guide us was awesome. It was very interesting to see them brainstorm and create new things for ideas that we were throwing at them.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We are super happy with the results. The landing looks great, it shows us as a company perfectly. But besides the aesthetic side of it. I think the biggest impact that we are having is in the internal administration of the company.
Having the admin part has allowed us to have every consultation and customer order in one place. We have been able to respond in a more organized manner and wey faster than before. Customers are happy and so are we. It is early to say it in numbers but as time goes bu we are certain that this investment has helped the company grow.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Project management was great, we wanted to be very involved in the process so they created a trello in which all tasks were organized. They worked in two week sprints so at the end of each we had a call to see how everything was going. If we needed to we could contact them at any time and they always responded.
The designs were constantly uploaded to the trello so that we could give immediate feedback and within that they the changes were made. It was really amazing how effective and fast they were. Not to mention, how patient and understanding.
We had no idea as to how this things worked. and they helped us navigate it and even hosted a tutorial call so that we could learn how to use de administrator and so on. Even Though we were all in quarantine it felt like we were in the same office all the time because they were very alert and responsive.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I like how sensible to the project they were they got really interested in our project. That made us feel very comfortable. We like how they feel like a family — their internal communication is great.
And also, I loved knowing what they were working on and how it was going throughout the process, it felt very transparent and profesional. They always made sue we were on the same track so that we wound waste any time.

I cant think of the top of my mind anything for them to improve on. We were all very satisfied with the end result and the process.

NOM is a video advertising platform that helps brands run ads safely on YouTube and across social media properties. As the Agile Project Manager on the Product team, my position entails acting as a scrum master for the engineering team and translating product goals and external department feedback into engineering tasks.

As I understand it (this took place before I joined the company), NOM hired Matias Delgado and Cavepot as frontend development to work on our Media Audit product. Over the course of his time with us, he also worked on the backend as well as on QA automation.

To deliver a product designed to audit prospective clients' YouTube ad campaigns and deliver a summary of that audit in a user-friendly reporting dashboard.

This took place before my time at NOM.

Matias primarily worked on the frontend and backend for Media Audit, our reporting dashboard tool. He as implemented designs, connected the UI to the backend admin tool, fixed bugs, and made improvements.

Matias was the only developer we utilized from Cavepot.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Media Audit is instrumental to our business. We use it as a sales tool to engage new business. It's a vital tool, and Matias was an important part of getting it to the state it is in now, where we are now using it live in sales presentations to win clients.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Tools we use include Slack, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and Zoom. We work in two-week sprints towards loosely defined deadline dates. Matias is very communicative across all tools. There are never any barriers and I'm never left wondering what he's working on. He's always reliable and has played a huge role in us hitting our deadlines each time.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
How easy it is to work with Cavepot and Matias. Many outsource firms want to be overly involved with their clients' day-to-day and micromanage their team members. Cavepot steps back and allows direct interactions to take place between us and Matias. It's definitely appreciated and has helped the project proceed without needless overhead.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder of Socius, a peer-to-peer lending platform that's similar to cloud lending.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cavepot?
In Uruguay, people aren’t used to using technology for banking systems, so our main challenge was facing these technologies barriers. We have two kinds of clients: investors and people requesting loans. We needed to create a website and tools that would work for each type of client.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We communicated what we needed with their team, and they proposed what the best path to take would be. They handled the design and development of our platform from beginning to end, as well as an admin panel. The solution requires investors or loan seekers to fill out all the mandatory information when they register, including investment plans, identification, work records, bills, etc. It has panels on which clients can track their money and payments, and visualize all the information they provided, which is the real value of this platform.
We’re now dealing with several changes requested by the bank which pertain to obtaining a license. We’re currently developing the framework to adjust our system to that license.
What is the team composition?
There have been about four people assigned to us depending on the stage of the project. We also always work with one of the founders.
How did you come to work with Cavepot?
Since we’re lawyers and accountants with no tech expertise, we needed to trust the chosen vendor. One of our partners worked with them before and recommended them. We received quotes from different people, but Cavepot’s actually met all our requirements.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $50,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in May 2017 and the collaboration is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The platform is stable, and people from the banking market say it’s great because it’s like we have a brain in the backend. We had one crash late at night when our cloud server went down; we contacted Cavepot and they immediately got to work.
We also get lots of comments on our Facebook page from people who want to buy our platform and develop it in other countries.
How did Cavepot perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re like in-house developers, and we communicate constantly via WhatsApp. We have meetings every two days as well as a monthly review. We share an Excel file that keeps track of all the tasks. So far, Cavepot has executed perfectly and has a lot of space to create by themselves.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re very modern thinking and have excellent ideas. We think they’re a bit too modern for this market sometimes, but they’re always right.
Cavepot also has a highly qualified team that’s able to help us with our different clients. We have a specialized person assigned whether it’s for handling an integration with a bank or for addressing a usability task.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could offer extra services like marketing, Google Ads, and Facebook.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Let them create. At times, we come up with good solutions but they always have a better idea.
