BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of events at Atlanta Beer Festivals. We hold regular beer-related events.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Campfire Branding?

We do over 20 events every year, and we were looking for someone who could design unique logos for each of them.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Jenna (Creative Director, Campfire Branding) designs our logos every year, creating new iterations of each one annually. She’s also created new images and content for our social media platforms as well as our company logo, signage, banners, visual graphics, and other collateral material.

As we add new events, Jenna provides new designs.

What is the team composition?

We work exclusively with Jenna.

How did you come to work with Campfire Branding?

The engagement began before I joined the company.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent $100,000 on Campfire Branding’s services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2010, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Jenna has a strong sense of who we are as a company and is able to incorporate that into each logo. Her work has absolutely contributed to ticket sales over the years, and it definitely captures customers’ attention as they scroll through events in Atlanta. Her graphics and images are fun, unique, and stand out from others’ in the city.

We love partnering with her and will continue to do so for many years.

How did Campfire Branding perform from a project management standpoint?

Jenna is proactive about setting deadlines and often finishes her work ahead of them. If there’s ever a time we need something by the end of the day, she’s quick to respond and provide us with what we need.

We use Google Docs to keep in contact about timelines and progress. She uses other platforms as well, which I have access to but don’t typically monitor.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re really impressed with how well Jenna has come to understand our brand. She always knows what we’re looking for and is able to execute what we need. Often, the first iterations of designs are great and need very few changes.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, she’s done really well.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Do your best to communicate who your brand is and what you’re looking for. If Campfire Branding knows all the different aspects of your company, they’ll do a really great job portraying that in their images and graphics.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the Senior Vice President and CFO at an architecture and engineering design firm.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Campfire Branding?

We wanted assistance with devising a new branding strategy, as well as website development and design.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Campfire Branding developed a new website for us since our current site was outdated. They designed a new logo, tagline, and gave us a style guide. They provided us with templates and letterhead that incorporated the new brand. Additionally, they provided copywriting services for the new site.

What is the team composition?

My main point of contact was Jenna (Creative Director, Campfire Branding). She brought on one other person from her internal team and hired a few freelancers to work on specific aspects of the project.

How did you come to work with Campfire Branding?

I did a Google search for designers near me. I reached out to two firms, but I liked Jenna’s approach and so I wanted to work with her.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $53,000 on their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2018, and we wrapped up in August 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Previously, our customers were always telling us that we needed to update our website because they couldn’t tell if we were still in business based on how outdated it was. After working with Campfire Branding, we received positive feedback.

How did Campfire Branding perform from a project management standpoint?

They were good communicators and well-organized. The team that Jenna brought on was talented and helped fill in the pieces that she didn’t do herself. The process was very clear. When there were some bugs with the site, we brought them to their attention and they were remedied.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve never worked with a branding or web development firm, so I can’t compare their performance to other vendors. However, it was a positive experience.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing really sticks out.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s important to have a clear cut process and have one person from your company be in communication with them.
